Jamie Vardy joins new ‘dream team' on holiday with Tottenham and Man Utd stars
JAMIE Vardy has delighted fans after joining a new 'dream team' since becoming a free agent - after he was pictured partying with his Leicester City pals while on holiday.
The striker, 38, who last month drew the curtains on his 13-year chapter at the club, was seen reunited with his former teammates and their families in Portugal.

Joined by wife Rebekah, 43, Jamie beamed for the camera at the beach alongside Harry Maguire, James Maddison and Leicester City coach Andy King.
Maguire's sisters, Daisy and Zoe, his wife Fern and dad Alan were also in tow.
Fans voiced their delight at the reunion, with one posting: 'Dream team!'
Another said: 'Lovely to see former players still socialising together.'
In response, Rebekah commented: 'Always! Unbreakable bonds.'
Another supporter described it as a 'heartwarming' picture.
It's understood the reunion took place in the Algarve.
It comes just weeks after Rebekah's bitter six-year libel court battle with Wayne Rooney's other half Coleen finally ended, resulting in a £1.4million bill for the Vardys.
And last month we told how the Vardy's were selling their lavish Portuguese home for a huge seven figure sum.
The couple are hoping to fetch £9.7 million for the massive pad in Quinta do Lago, which boasts three pools, a gym and six bedrooms.
A source denied they're trying to claw back cash and said the pair are looking for a new holiday home.
In May, the Vardys enjoyed a trip to Turkey, staying at the Lujo Hotel in Bodrum, where rooms can cost up to £10,000 a night.
Jamie is said to be holding crunch talks as he weighs up lucrative offers ahead of the new season, and is rumoured to be considering moving Stateside.
Despite his nine Premier League goals in 2024-25, he was unable to save Leicester from relegation.
The Foxes made an instant return to the Championship after a dismal campaign saw them finish 19th.
Rebekah threw Jamie a lavish surprise party celebrating his final appearance for Leicester last month.

Tourists warned as parts of Europe fry in extreme heatwave
Europe is currently enduring a series of intense heatwaves, with temperatures soaring above 40C across Italy, Spain, and Greece, prompting urgent warnings from local authorities regarding the heightened risk of wildfires. Experts are directly linking the escalating frequency and intensity of these extreme weather events to the climate crisis, indicating a concerning trend for the region. Before the weekend, severe heat gripped Italy, Greece, Spain, and Portugal, forcing both residents and holidaymakers to seek refuge from the scorching conditions. The sustained high temperatures underscore the growing challenge posed by a warming planet, as such extreme weather phenomena are projected to become an increasingly common and severe feature of Europe's southern landscape. Two-thirds of Portugal were on high alert on Sunday over extreme heat and wildfires, with temperatures expected to top 42C in Lisbon. In Italy, a few regions - Lazio, Tuscany, Calabria, Puglia and Umbria - were planning to ban some outdoor work activities during the hottest hours of the day in response to the record high temperatures. Italian trade unions pushed the government to expand such measures at a national level. On Sunday, the Italian health ministry placed 21 out of 27 monitored cities under its highest heat alert, including top holiday destinations like Rome, Milan and Naples. In Rome, tourists tried to seek shade near popular spots like the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain, using umbrellas and drinking from public water fountains to stay cool. Similar scenes were reported in Milan and Naples, where street vendors sold lemonade to tourists and residents to offer some refreshment from the heat. Greece was again on high wildfire alert because of extreme weather, with the first summer heat wave expected to continue throughout the weekend. A large wildfire broke out south of Athens on Thursday, forcing evacuations and road closures near the ancient Temple of Poseidon. Strong winds spread the flames, damaging homes and sending smoke across the sky. There are also reports of some of the tourist islands limiting water supply during the heatwave. Experts warned that intense heat can affect daily life, especially for vulnerable populations such as the elderly and children. Local authorities advised against physical activity during the hottest hours of the day, and recommended drinking plenty of fluids. A Lancet Public Health study published last year highlighted the increasing risk of heat-related deaths because of climate change. The study predicted that heat-related deaths could more than quadruple by mid-century under current climate policies. While more people die from cold than heat, the study stressed that rising temperatures will offset the benefits of milder winters, leading to a significant net increase in heat-related mortality.

Huge fines to be handed out in popular stag do spot in crackdown on bad behaviour
Holidaymakers in Portugal can expect to face significant fines for a range of behaviours deemed antisocial by local authorities this summer. Visitors to Albufeira on the southern coast of Portugal will be subject to new legislation that came into force on 24 June aimed at curbing 'excessive behaviour' in public spaces. The new code of conduct, which was approved by the Albufeira Municipal Assembly earlier this month, means visitors could be fined the following sums for exhibiting these behaviours: Wearing bikinis or swimwear outside beach or pool zones: fines from €300 (£255) to €1,500 (£1,280) Drinking alcohol in the street, urinating, or defecating in public: fines from €300 to €1,500 Nude or sexual acts in public: fines from €500 (£427) to €1,800 (£1,535) Wild camping, sleeping rough, or spitting in public: fines from €150 (£128) to €750 (£640) Signage will be installed throughout the popular tourist resort in a bid to ensure visitors to the region are aware of the new rules. According to local media, there will be a grace period of public awareness during which time visitors will be warned of the new code rather than facing an immediate fine. In summer 2024, video footage of eight British men dancing naked in a bar in Rua da Oura, Albufeira's main party strip, went viral, prompting authorities to crack down on perceived antisocial behaviour by tourists. City officials fear that such behaviour may do 'undesirable damage to the resident population and the image of the municipality as a tourist destination'. 'People have to start changing their mindset and behaviour,' Albufeira mayor José Carlos Rolo said. 'Our goal is to prevent these issues and not have to act after they have happened.' Mr Rolo has also called on business owners and nightlife staff to ensure tourists are aware of the new legislation. Albufeira follows Barcelona, Malaga, Dubrovnik, Nice and Sorrento in introducing rules to limit antisocial behaviour amongst tourists.

Love Island: Aftersun crowd JEER as Remell and Poppy clash during seriously awkward reunion - and she issues stinging four-word swipe
The crowd at Love Island: Aftersun jeered as Remell and Poppy clashed during a seriously awkward reunion. Sunday's instalment of the live ITV show, broadcast after the main programme, saw the pair reunite after Remell was voted out of the villa by the public with Megan. A previous episode saw bombshell Poppy and Remell meet during a sleepover away from the main villa. Islanders Emily, Helena and Dejon also joined, as well as other bombshells Giorgio, Will and Caprice. After a series of racy games and even sharing a bed together, Remell, who was coupled up with Alima in the main villae, looked as though he may have had his head turned and even shared a kiss with Poppy. However, in the end he decided to stay with Alima, leaving both Poppy and Helena stunned. Poppy reflected on the situation during Aftersun, which is hosted by Maya Jama, and admitted 'I felt really betrayed'. She said: 'Do you know what? I felt really betrayed when you didn't pick me because obviously I had all these hopes especially with the truth or dare game. I was like 'Oh, he actually really likes me'. So I was a bit gutted.' Remell responded: 'But I did tell you at the end it was shuffling. I didn't tell you that that was my decision.' 'Five minutes before,' Poppy exclaimed. 'Nah, literally in that game I told you at the end it was shuffling, that decision,' Remell insisted. But Poppy disagreed and said, 'No you didn't'. 'During the truth or dare I did, I'm not going to make a lie, I did,' Remell replied. The audience watching live in the studio erupted into a jeer while he continued: 'That's what I did, I stand on what I say.' Remell responded: 'But I did tell you at the end it was shuffling. I didn't tell you that that was my decision.' But Poppy still didn't agree and said: 'Nah, I don't think you did.' 'I'm pretty sure I did, run it back,' Remell went on. 'Yeah, run it back,' Poppy laughed. When quizzed by Dejon during the sleepover who he would chose between partner Alima and Poppy, he had previously admitted it would be Poppy. He confessed to his pal: 'I'm loving the chats with Poppy, flirty, chill…I don't want to leave with regrets which is why I'm giving Poppy the time of day.'
