, in Mirzapur recently before her dance performance at Vindhyavasini Dham in Mirzapur district.
During this meeting, Mansingh urged the youth to learn from such great mentors whose lives and dedication are themselves a school. She also requested the Uttar Pradesh govt to prioritise the care and honour of such gems. She made a video appealing for his support.
Odissi and Bharatanatyam dancer Sonal Mansingh recently visited Vindhyachal (Mirzapur) for an event. Before the event, she met Pt. Chhannulal Mishra, who is currently bedridden due to ill health, along with her younger daughter.
Sonal Mansingh recorded a video standing beside him, where she mentioned that Pt. Chhannulal Mishra was a proposer for Narendra Modi in the 2014 parliamentary elections. She praised his knowledge and artistry, stating that there is no other artist like him at present, and suggested that the Uttar Pradesh govt should do something for him given his current condition.
In the video, Sonal Mansingh also remarked on Pt. Chhannulal Mishra's condition, calling him a sage and urging his disciples to visit, learn from him, and pay their respects, while criticising them for being preoccupied with their own pursuits and not caring for him.
