Robinson praises Sels 'fantastic season'
Former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Paul Robinson praised Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Matz Sels.Sels was instrumental in Forest achieving European football for next season as he recorded 13 clean sheets during the campaign. The Belgian shot-stopper made 120 across the season, with only three goalkeepers making more. "The big compliment you can pay Matz Sels, I don't think he's technically one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League," Robinson said on BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast."But you look at another stat this season, which is what I like to look at, is the amount of saves he's made and the biggest stat I like, save to shot per cent ratio - that's how you can judge a goalkeeper."Selz has won the Golden Glove, but he's also second in the number of saves he's made. So, he's not only relied on the brilliance of Milenkovic and Murillo in front of him and the defence being solid and the team being organised, he's had to make a number of saves to contribute to that. You've got to take your hat off to him, he's had a fantastic season."

Lambourn stuns red-hot favourite Delacroix to land master trainer Aidan O'Brien an 11th Derby
AIDAN O'BRIEN'S No2 Lambourn stunned his big hope Delacroix to land the Derby - as a load of the big guns flopped in the £1.5million Epsom blockbuster. Lambourn, who was sent off 13-2, hit the front early and was never for catching under loyal jockey Wayne Lordan. Ryan Moore never really got into it on red-hot favourite Delacroix and finished ninth, beaten 16 lengths. And, for once, the world's best jockey had to play second best to Lordan - who he beat into second in the Oaks on Friday. There was a huge result for syndicate Middleham Park as their 50-1 Lazy Griff, trained by Charlie Johnston, came second. While Aidan's son Joseph was third with 28-1 Tennessee Stud. Juddmonte had the fourth home with 50-1 New Ground. O'Brien said: "Wayne gave him an incredible ride - he is a great fella and has done so much hard work throughout the years. "The horse is very straightforward and Wayne knew he would stay. "I'm delighted for Wayne and couldn't be happier. "The lads put in everything and I am just delighted to be on their coat tails!"
