Congressman Hal Rogers posted on Facebook around 2 p.m. that the multi-agency recovery centers in Laurel and Pulaski counties would be issuing replacement Social Security cards from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, June 4 and 5.

CLAY CITY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A 64-year-old Ohio man was killed on Thursday after he allegedly lost control of his car in Powell County. Troopers with Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 8 in Morehead were notified about the crash on Thursday by Powell County Dispatch, per a news release. An initial investigation showed that Edwin A. Caraballo Burgos, 64, of Middletown, Ohio, was driving a car heading south on Black Creek Road when he reportedly dropped off the side of the road, causing him to lose control.
