128 Killed, 900 Injured in Israeli Airstrikes in Iran

Iran's Ministry of Health has confirmed that 128 people have been killed and around 900 injured following a wave of Israeli attacks targeting multiple cities across the country, including the capital Tehran.
This marks the first official casualty report released by the Iranian government since the beginning of hostilities.
The Israeli offensive, dubbed Rising Lion, began early Friday with heavy airstrikes reportedly supported by the United States.
Dozens of fighter jets bombed nuclear facilities and missile bases across Iran. The strikes also resulted in the assassination of senior Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists.
In retaliation, Iran
launched
eight waves of ballistic missile and drone attacks throughout Friday evening, killing 14 people and injuring approximately 345 others, according to local media. The counterstrikes also caused widespread damage to buildings and vehicles in Israeli cities.
The sharp escalation has significantly intensified fears of a broader regional conflict, with both nations trading military blows amid rising global concern.

Tensions between Israel and Iran reached a dangerous new level on Sunday, as both countries launched direct missile and airstrikes on each other's territory—an unprecedented escalation that left scores dead and heightened fears of a wider regional conflict. Iranian missile attacks on the Israeli cities of Bat Yam and Tel Aviv reportedly killed seven people and injured nearly 240 others, according to Israeli media. Sixty-one buildings were damaged, and approximately 20 people remain unaccounted for under the rubble. In a swift and far-reaching response, the Israeli military carried out airstrikes on several Iranian military and nuclear-related sites, including a nuclear facility in Isfahan and the airport in Mashhad. Israel's military described the Mashhad strike—some 2,300 kilometers from Israeli territory—as its 'farthest operation to date' in the conflict. Iran reports 224 deaths in Israeli attacks since Friday, including Revolutionary Guard Intel Chief
Iran's Ministry of Health announced that at least 224 people have been killed in Israeli attacks since Friday. Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared on Sundaythe death of its intelligence chief, Mohammad Kazemi, along with two colleagues. 'In revenge for today's crimes, we targeted intelligence centers of the usurping entity with a missile barrage,' the IRGC stated. Earlier, Israel's Channel 12 confirmed that 'Iranian missiles fell in several parts of the country.' The Fire and Rescue Authority revealed direct hits on two residential buildings in the Coastal District and another in a residential building in the Southern District. Israeli ambulance services reported, 'We are dealing with three sites in Haifa where missiles fell.'
