Deputies: Car stolen in Indiana found in Coldwater area
COLDWATER, Mich. (WOOD) — Three people were jailed in Branch County after deputies say they were found with a car that was stolen in Indiana.
According to the Branch County Sheriff's Office, a Coldwater Police Department license plate reader flagged the stolen Kia Sunday.
Police launched a search for the car and deputies soon found it in a parking lot on Willowbrook Road on the east side of town. They stopped the car in the parking lot without incident.
The three people are all facing charges related to possession of meth. One is also charged with possession of stolen property, authorities said.
Their names were not released Monday.
