RAK Innovates Exhibition 2025 launches as part of UAE Innovation Month - Middle East Business News and Information
The free-to-enter event runs until February 13, showcasing hundreds of innovations from almost 50 public and private sector entities in Ras Al Khaimah.
February, 2025, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates: The RAK Innovates Exhibition 2025 opened today at Al Hamra International Exhibition and Conference Center, as part of UAE Innovation Month, which is taking place across the country in its 10th edition under the theme of 'The Power of Innovation'.
This year's three-day Exhibition, which is free for the public to attend, is highlighting Ras Al Khaimah's commitment to supporting innovation, promoting sustainable development and a culture of creativity, as well as seeking to embed the pursuit of excellence across the Emirate's diverse economic sectors.
Mohamed Moosa Loojab, Head of the Events Standing Committee in Ras Al Khaimah, stated that the RAK Innovates Exhibition is also a celebration of 10 years of UAE Innovates, which has strengthened the country's position as a global hub of innovation. The Exhibition in Ras Al Khaimah, he added, is a platform to highlight the Emirate's creative achievements and is a reflection of the vital role of innovation in driving development.
This year's RAK Innovates Exhibition, which runs until February 13 and is open to the public from 9am to 8pm, features a variety of activities suitable for all ages and will showcase more than 230 innovative projects from 48 entities in Ras Al Khaimah, including government, health, education and private-sector companies. The event includes workshops and sessions presented by innovation experts, where the latest trends in the field will be shared and discussed.

In addition to an event for the public, RAK Innovates Exhibition also serves as an interactive platform to enhance communication between innovators, specialists and entrepreneurs, reflecting the importance of innovation to Ras Al Khaimah and to the UAE's ambitious vision to build an innovative, knowledge economy, with excellence and leadership at its core.

Egypt's Ambassador: Armenia–Egypt Relations Enter 'Golden Era' of Cooperation
H-Tayea Egypt's Ambassador to Armenia, Serenade Soliman Gamil, has described current Armenia–Egypt relations as entering a 'golden era,' marked by deepening diplomatic, economic, cultural, and people-to-people ties. FM delivers message from President Sisi to his Mauritanian counterpart
CAIRO – 27 May 2025: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has expressed aspiration to develop bilateral relations with Mauritania in all fields, said Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty during a meeting in Nouakchott, delivering a written message from President Sisi to his Mauritanian counterpart Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani. During the meeting, Abdelatty conveyed the greetings of Sisi to his Mauritanian counterpart, appreciating the deep relations between the two countries. He expressed his aspiration to develop bilateral relations and elevate them to the level of strategic partnership in all fields, especially economic ones. The top diplomat praised Mauritanian support for Egyptian nominations in various regional and international forums, particularly the nomination of Dr. Khaled El-Enany for the position of Director-General of UNESCO, as he is the official candidate of both the Arab League and the African Union. Abdelatty said Egypt was ready to cooperate with Mauritania in all sectors, achieving a qualitative leap in bilateral cooperation. He highlighted the launch of the Egyptian-Mauritanian Economic Forum on the sidelines of the joint committee meeting, expecting it to give a strong impetus to joint investments in all fields, especially that it brought together major Egyptian companies and businessmen. He also pointed to a number of joint projects in Mauritania, in which Egyptian companies are expected to achieve a qualitative leap. Abdelatty praised the role played by Mauritania under the leadership of al-Ghazouani and its contribution to enhancing stability and security in the Sahel region. He reiterated Egypt's support for Mauritania's efforts to combat terrorism in the region by supporting and strengthening bilateral cooperation. Abdelatty reviewed Egyptian efforts aimed at achieving a ceasefire in Gaza and the delivery of humanitarian aid. The two sides exchanged views on a number of regional issues, including the situation in Libya, Sudan, Syria, and Lebanon. For his part, el-Ghazouani asked that his greetings be conveyed to President Sisi, praising the relations and historical ties binding the two countries and peoples. He also commended Egypt's pivotal role in establishing peace and stability in the Middle East region.
