Is Bills LB Matt Milano playing today? Injury updates for AFC Championship Game
The Buffalo Bills listed veteran linebacker Matt Milano on their injury report this week ahead of a pivotal AFC Championship Game matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Will Milano be able to take the field for Buffalo when the Bills face off against Kansas City this afternoon?
Matt Milano injury update
Milano is dealing with a hamstring injury that limited his participation in Buffalo's practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. However, on Friday Milano was a full participant in the Bills' drills, and he was not given a game designation for Sunday's matchup, which would indicate that he will be available for Buffalo this evening.
How long will Matt Milano be out?
Milano will not need to miss any time due to his condition, and should take the field with the Bills.
Bills LB depth chart
Milano is backed up by Dorian Williams and Edefuan Ulofoshio. Should Milano need to leave the game, Williams would likely be called upon before Ulofoshio.

Analyst Not Sold On Bills As Super Bowl Threat
Analyst Not Sold On Bills As Super Bowl Threat originally appeared on Athlon Sports. We are at the stage of the offseason where some are picking their Super Bowl favorites, and many have the Buffalo Bills as one team that could easily claim the Lombardi Trophy. Advertisement Josh Allen is the defending MVP, the offseason acquisitions on both sides of the ball, plus a weak division, Buffalo looks likely to be the AFC East bully yet again. However, the Bills making the playoffs is low-hanging fruit and is the bare minimum expected. Buffalo is a genuine Super Bowl contender. But the big question is can the Bills actually win it? For NFL analyst and former linebacker Bart Scott, the AFC is too loaded. 'First of all, they need to make sure that James Cook is happy, but so many other obstacles in his way,' Scott said on ESPN's GetUp. 'Joe Burrow can get his team to the postseason, but also Lamar Jackson, so I'm going to say no, the field is too strong, if I had to pick, I'll pick the field.' Dec 8, 2019; Orchard Park, NY, USA; Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (17) meets Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (8) at mid-field after a game at New Era Field. Mandatory Credit: Mark Konezny-Imagn ImagesMark Konezny-Imagn Images The AFC does have more than its fair share of contenders. Advertisement The Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, and Baltimore Ravens are the top three, and then we have the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers as improvers. There are quite a few teams the Bills are facing, but if we're being honest, only one team really stands out, and it's Kansas City. Buffalo, when the playoffs roll around, just can't beat Patrick Mahomes, and in its last four postseason games, it is 0-4. That needs to change, but also the Ravens and Bengals loom large, so there won't be any shortage of tough challengers the Bills will need to overcome if they are to claim their first-ever Super Bowl in 2025. Bills Pro Bowler Appears on 'Today Show' Revealing Major Goals For 2025
Bills Pro Bowler Appears on 'Today Show' Revealing Major Goals For 2025 originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Few tackles in the league are as outspoken - or as good - as Buffalo Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins. Advertisement The lovably eccentric offensive lineman has been busy this offseason. He was a key player in the league's creation of an Offensive Lineman of the Year award and has been on plenty of shows to discuss his team's upcoming expectations. The latest trip? A guest appearance on NBC's "Today Show.'' Dawkins went on the national TV show to talk about his time as an ambassador of the American Cornhole League. Along the way, he spoke about the Bills' goals for the upcoming season. "In my mind, any time we're on the field, we have a chance. As long as we've got 17," Dawkins said, noting QB Josh Allen's jersey number. "As long as we've got the running backs and receivers, the head coach, the Pegulas (ownership), I got us." Advertisement Buffalo has been to the conference title game twice since Dawkins and Allen were drafted. Both the tackle and quarterback have been connected as some of the best players in the league. Allen is coming off a league MVP award. Dawkins, meanwhile, is a Pro Bowler in his own right. The only thing the two are missing is a championship. If the Bills can overcome their conference title woes, their entire offense will become legendary. Dawkins and Allen may already be there, but their impact across the league could put them on a path to the Hall of Fame. ... and more TV appearances to go with that. Josh Allen Defends Second-Year Bills' Receiver: 'Very Smooth'
Josh Allen Defends Second-Year Bills' Receiver: 'Very Smooth' originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Buffalo Bills only got a small taste of what former second-round receiver Keon Coleman can do. The Florida State product caught 29 passes for over 500 yards in his first season in the league. Advertisement While he showed the kind of potential that most teams look for, Bills fans were concerned about his lack of production. The team isn't too worried, though. In an interview noted by Bleacher Report, reigning league MVP Josh Allen discussed Coleman's production and the young receiver's future. "He looks very smooth right now. I feel like he's put on some muscle, he's moving quicker, not just physically but mentally, with our offensive system," Allen said. "I think he's attacked this offseason the way you would want a second-year receiver to attack." Allen has worked with a quality All-Pro receiver before. Stefon Diggs helped him become one of the league's better signal-callers. Advertisement Last year, Allen didn't need a star receiver to become the MVP. And ... Buffalo doesn't have a clear-cut No. 1 receiver. But it is comfortable with its current collection of weapons. If Coleman can develop into a star receiver, that will even help Buffalo's offense. It's easier said than done, though. Every offense needs a guy with Coleman's skill set as a deep-threat wideout. He'll still need to earn more playing time with acquisitions like Joshua Palmer, and Elijah Moore added this offseason. Allen still believes in his young receiver. If Coleman can take a jump in his second season, Allen's numbers will remain among the best in the league - and maybe Keon can be key to another MVP.
