The 2025 French Open men's singles field is down to two, as world No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz prepares to take on No. 1 Jannik Sinner on Sunday for a chance to hoist the Coupe des Mousquetaires.
Alcaraz, 22, is seeking his fifth Grand Slam win and second consecutive win at the Roland Garros, having advanced to the final over world No. 7 Lorenzo Musetti on Friday. Despite what started off as a close match, with Musetti winning the first set, Alcaraz rallied with a tie breaker to win the second set 7-6. He went on to win the third set 6-0 and was up 2-0 in the fourth before Musetti retired the match, extending a handshake at center court.

Sinner enters the 2025 French Open men's singles final fresh off a victory over tennis legend Novak Djokovic in three sets, with full dominance on display. At 23 years old, the Italian pro is seeking his fourth career Grand Slam win. Alcaraz holds a 7-4 edge over Sinner head-to-head over their careers, with Alcaraz having won each of their last four meetings, including the 2024 French Open semifinals.

Associated Press PARIS (AP) — Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz has forced a deciding set in the French Open final after saving three match points against Jannik Sinner. Alcaraz was trailing 5-3, 40-0 in the fourth set on Sunday before rallying past his rival, winning a tiebreaker 7-6 (3). Sinner, the top-ranked player, won the first two sets 6-4, 7-6 (4) before Alcaraz claimed the third set 6-4. Sinner and Alcaraz share seven major titles, four for Alcaraz and three for Sinner, who is in the French Open final for the first time. Sinner is on a 20-match winning streak in Grand Slam tournaments, after winning the U.S. Open and the Australian Open. AF Corse Ferrari and Toyota Gazoo Top Test Day Free Practice at Le Mans
We have our first look at speed and performance heading into the 93rd running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, as Robert Kubica set the best lap in FP1 in No. 83 AF Corse Ferrari 499P ahead of Brendon Hartley in the No. 8 Toyota GR010 Hybrid, 0.990 seconds behind during Sunday's Test Day. Behind Kubica and Harley in FP1 was Earl Bamber in the No. 38 Hertz Team JOTA Cadillac. Hartley improved to set the best lap of the day, leading the way in FP2 with a time of 3:26.246, beating out the No. 51 Ferrari and the No. 83 that fell to third fastest in the second session. FP1 saw an early Full Course Yellow for debris, followed closely by an accident in the Porsche Curves for Luca Ghiotto in the No. 34 Inter Europol Competition Oreca. The incident led to a 50-minute safety car procedure in the first three-hour segment. Late red flags marred FP2; The first came out for the No. 20 BMW when Sheldon van der Linde ended up off track in the Porsche Curves shortly before the beginning of the last hour. The longest red flag followed when the No. 11 Proton Competition LMP2 entry ended up in the wall in the Indianapolis chicane with around 48 minutes remaining, leading to the second red flag of the final hour and setting up a 15-minute dash with the remaining 60 cars all heading out. The No. 83 could not improve on its FP1 time but still secured the third fastest in FP2. Mick Schumacher in the No. 36 Alpine set the best time for an LMPh entry when it improved from 12th overall in FP1 to fourth in FP2. Two Porsche Penskes followed in fourth and fifth in the second practice with the No. 6 Porsche 963 of Kevin Estre and the No. 4 Porsche 963 of Nick Tandy.
