Family escapes injury after pipe bomb attack at house
A family has escaped injury after a pipe bomb was thrown at a house in Co Armagh.
Police said the explosion in Mullaghbawn in the early hours of Friday caused substantial damage to windows and an outdoor railing.

A PSNI spokesperson said: 'At approximately 1am this morning, police received a report of a loud explosion outside a property in the Sliabh Mor area.
'It is believed at this time that a device in the form of a pipe bomb was thrown at the front of a house at around 0030 which subsequently exploded, causing substantial damage to windows and an outdoor railing.
'The occupants of the property are a young family who were fortunately not harmed, though they are understandably left shocked and shaken by this incident.
'Devices of this type can cause damage over a wide area, causing destruction far beyond any intended target.'

The device has been taken away for further examination.
Police also said they are working to establish a motive for the attack.
The spokesperson added: 'Inquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who saw any persons or vehicles acting suspiciously in the area, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage, to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 58 of 27/06/25.'

'I got my kids out and we went in the back. There's bricks and tiles in the street, all the cars are dented, and there are butane gas canisters in the street. 'There was a family with children living next door to the house and a middle-aged woman with a dog. 'Our house was shaking and could feel the whole thing tremble when the first bang went off. Woman on A449 to Ledbury dies in three-vehicle crash
A motorcyclist has been killed in a three-vehicle crash, leading to a teenager's arrest on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. It happened on Thursday at about 21:30 BST on the A449 close to Chances Pitch and Colwall on the Herefordshire and Worcestershire rider, a woman in her 50s, was travelling on a black Kawasaki motorbike towards Ledbury when the crash occurred. £2.6m cash seized during Newry 'money laundering' investigation
More than £2.6m of cash has been seized as part of a National Crime Agency (NCA) investigation into suspected money laundering in NCA said after searches of two businesses and two residential properties, a total of £882,695 and €1.055m (£902,000) was recovered by its officers as suspected criminal said a further £692,140 and €223,490 (£191,028) had previously been seized by Police Service of Northern Ireland officers, working in partnership with the NCA, "in earlier disruptions".A 26-year-old man from Newry, who was arrested on 19 June, has been bailed as the investigation continues.
