Troopers: Indiana County man missing after leaving home, not returning
INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Homer City man was reported missing Thursday after state police said he left home and didn't return.
The family of Joel H. Harmon, 19, reported him missing after they said he left his residence on the 900 block of Gemmell Road on foot at 1:30 p.m. and didn't come home that evening. Troopers noted the family said it was 'very atypical of his behavior' not to come home.
Harmon was last seen June 12 at 3:30 p.m. when drivers at the intersection of Klimkos Road and Hancock Road in Young Township saw him standing at a stop sign.
He's described as a white, non-Hispanic male, 5 feet and 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 220 lbs. He has short, light brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black silky basketball shorts and white tennis shoes.
Troopers said the Indiana County Emergency Management Agency is assisting in the search for Harmon by using drones in the area. Anyone with information about Harmon's whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.

1 killed, 2 hurt in Dillon County after vehicle overturns running from police
DILLON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — One person was killed and two others hurt in a Friday afternoon wreck involving a vehicle running from police, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said. It happened just after 12:30 p.m. on South Longstreet Road near Homelight Road when a 2023 Dodge Charger ran off the left side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned.
