Suspect in fatal shooting of 13-year-old in California may be in Massachusetts, police say
Police in Pasadena, California believe a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old boy in 2021 may be in Massachusetts.
According to police, 13-year-old Iran Moreno was playing video games in his bedroom on Nov. 20, 2021, when a stray bullet from a shooting outside pierced through the wall and killed him.
The gunman was seen on surveillance video getting out of a gray 2017-2020 Ford Fusion and firing his gun twice. Using newly enhanced surveillance video, the Pasadena Police Department said they found the car's partial license plate number was QJ117.
Police also released sketches of the gunman and his possible getaway driver. After the sketches were released, police said they received a tip Thursday morning from a woman who said she had seen the man on several occasions in March and April in the Swampscott and Boston area. Police called the tip credible.

The gunman is described as a Black male with a medium complexion between the ages of 33 and 37. Police said he is either 6 feet or 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing between 185 and 195 pounds.
At the time of the shooting, he was wearing a red and black North Face hoodie.

Located in Los Angeles County, Pasadena is about 10 miles from Los Angeles. Pasadena has a population of about 133,000 people.

Savannah Top 10 Most Wanted suspect arrested
A 56-year-old woman on Savannah Police's Top Ten Most Wanted list was arrested Tuesday in connection with a home invasion last October. Zorina Brown was taken into custody for her alleged involvement in an Oct. 26, 2024, break-in at a residence on the 1200 block of E. 55th St. Officers responding to the scene around 12:20 p.m. found a woman with lacerations and injuries consistent with blunt force trauma. Heroin, crack cocaine, cash and guns seized in Fayette County bust
An alleged drug dealer is off the street after a large-scale drug operation on Thursday morning in Fayette County. Fayette County District Attorney Mike Aubele said the county's drug task force, alongside the Uniontown Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police and the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, was involved in the operation. "I won't reveal the details of the entire investigation," Aubele said. "However, this was a location that had been targeted by our task force and investigation led to the execution of a search warrant this morning." The search took place at a home on Prospect Street in Uniontown. Aubele said inside the home, investigators found 28 bricks of heroin, 4 ounces of crack cocaine, more than $2,200 in cash and two guns. Shortly after the operation, Aubele said 52-year-old Christopher Slade was arrested and charged with several felony drug charges. "These are very dangerous drugs that have caused a number of deaths and continue to cause death in our community. Our task force is working around the clock to bust up drug operations to take these off the street," Aubele said. He said investigators are now working to locate any other potential individuals who may be responsible. "It's extremely important for us to continue to be vigilant and conduct thorough investigations to try to eradicate the drug problem that we have here," Aubele said. This is one of many drug busts that have happened this year in Fayette County. Aubele said it's just the beginning of a crackdown in the county. "I want to commend the efforts of everyone involved here .. who put their lives at risk every day to keep our community safe," Aubele said. "This has been successful because of our ability and my office's ability to bring together multiple departments and agencies in order to make these arrests." Slade is now behind bars at the Fayette County Jail on $1000,000 bail.
