Kaizer Chiefs (Signings & Exits) - Midfielders: Two NEW, Three OUT

Kaizer Chiefs continue to make wholesale changes to playing personal. Especially, in the midfield. Kaizer Chiefs midfield is set for some big changes. To date, Sabelo Radelo and Mduduzi Mdantsane have left Amakhosi. However, more changes are expected in the midfield. As reported on The South African, Chiefs have secured the signature of 26-year-old playmaker, Ethan Chislett from Port Vale. 'The attacking midfielder landed at OR Tambo International Airport and was greeted by club staff before being whisked directly to the Naturena Village, where he is expected to finalise his transfer to the Soweto giants,' 'Chislett has signed a two-year contract with the club, with an option for an additional year. An official announcement from Chiefs is expected in the coming days,' FarPost confirmed. Meanwhile, Thabing Phite can play in the midfield or as a defender. 'The 30-year-old central defender, a player with Bafana Bafana experience, is set to join Kaizer Chiefs as a free agent,' according to AfricaSoccer. 'Phite made his return to professional football in March. After recovering from a serious injury, he signed with Icelandic side Vestri, played in seven out of a possible twelve matches, and made a solid impression,' they added. Therefore, Chiefs are set to unveil the former English-based midfielder. Furthermore, if reports are true, capped Bafana Bafana man Phite is also likely to be unveiled by Amakhosi. Meanwhile, these THREE Chiefs midfielders are heading out of Naturena. Chiefs have a whole team worth of new players – these 11 new players have reportedly joined to the first team. This includes TWO European-based signings, FIVE promotions and FOUR players from PSL rivals. Meanwhile, they are expected to sign these players from Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana. In contrast, as mentioned, FIVE Amakhosi player departures have been confirmed. Whilst, a total of FOUR more Chiefs players are heading out of Naturena. Let us know by leaving a comment below or sending a WhatsApp to 060 011 0211. Mbule's first comment on Orlando Pirates

Orlando Pirates' new signing Sipho Mbule has been the most-spoken about player in South African football since June. Why? He is an elegant midfielder that was heavily linked with Kaizer Chiefs. The 27-year-old from Bethlehem parted ways with Betway Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns, and the alleged reason was unprofessional conduct off the field. His agent, Mike Makaab, offered Mbule to Amakhosi, who simply took too long to make a decision on whether to sign Mbule.
