In another step toward the highly anticipated debut of Wynn Al Marjan Island, the luxury hospitality brand has officially launched its careers page, opening the first wave of roles for the integrated gaming resort set to open in Ras Al Khaimah in 2027.
Available now at wynnalmarjanisland.com/careers, the portal invites prospective candidates to join the 'Wynn family.' The roles span across various disciplines, from food and beverage and hotel operations to entertainment and wellness.

The careers page emphasises that new hires will help deliver the 'Wynn feeling' as the brand expands into the region for the first time.

Senior executives, including Michael Weaver, Chief Communications and Brand Officer at Wynn Resorts, shared insights into the design, service philosophy, and unique features that will set the Ras Al Khaimah resort apart.
The leadership team provided an early look at how the project is shaping up to redefine luxury hospitality in Ras Al Khaimah, highlighting new design details, service standards, and what visitors can expect when Wynn opens its first property in the region.
On track for its opening in 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island is moving quickly through critical planning stages, Weaver said, 'The nuts and bolts of how you're really going to run things, the decisions need to be made now and they need to make them when they can think about it and be thoughtful and really make the right calls. You don't want to do it six months before you open.'

Wynn Resorts Limited recently announced that Wynn Al Marjan Island has secured a $2.4 billion construction loan facility with a syndicate of global and regional banks to finance the development of the UAE's first casino resort. The facility, made available to Wynn Al Marjan Island FZ-LLC, a subsidiary of the 40 percent-owned joint venture, is structured across both AED and USD currencies, aligning with the majority of project expenditures expected in dirhams.
The seven-year term loan is structured as a delayed draw facility, providing significant financial flexibility to the joint venture partners.
The transaction marks the largest hospitality financing deal in UAE history, backed by lenders including Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Deutsche Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Emirates NBD, National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.

The Al Barakat Investment Account is available via the Bank's mobile app with a minimum deposit of BD 50 or USD 135. Accounts can also be opened for minors through a legal guardian. The UAE's Defaulted Debts Settlement Fund has exempted 222 citizens from debts totalling more than AED 139.879 million, following directives from President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The initiative, which operates under the supervision of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, targets retirees and social support categories. The Fund cleared debts exceeding AED 86.476 million for 132 retirees, whilst exempting 90 citizens under the social support category from debts totalling more than AED 53.403 million. 'The initiative reflects the wise leadership's vision to ease the lives of citizens and ensure them a dignified and stable standard of living,' the Emirates News Agency (WAM) said in a statement. The programme contributes to social development by alleviating financial burdens, supporting retirees and social support beneficiaries, and fostering family stability, according to the statement. The initiative aligns with the UAE's national strategy for sustainable development and demonstrates commitment to social cohesion and prosperity, with attention focused on those who served the country and the community's most vulnerable members. The Fund emphasised that the programme embodies President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's commitment to alleviating financial burdens on citizens. Al Baraka posts strong quarterly turnaround

TDT | Manama Al Baraka Group has reported a strong financial turnaround in the first quarter of 2025, reversing last year's losses and delivering a 19% rise in net income attributable to shareholders. The Group registered USD 34 million in total comprehensive income during the quarter, a sharp contrast to a USD 60 million loss in the same period of 2024. Earnings rebound The Group's net income attributable to the parent company's shareholders rose to USD 46 million in Q1 2025, up from USD 39 million last year. Total net income also saw a 19% increase, reaching USD 91 million. Executives credited the gains to rising financing volumes, expanded activity in key markets including Turkey, Jordan, and Egypt, and lower foreign currency translation losses. Basic earnings per share improved to 3.84 US cents, compared to 3.23 US cents in Q1 2024. Strengthening capital Al Baraka's total equity attributable to shareholders and sukuk holders rose 2% to reach USD 1.28 billion, while total equity grew to USD 2.03 billion by the end of March. The Group also recorded a 4% increase in total assets, which stood at USD 27.24 billion, driven by stronger customer deposits and business growth in core markets. Chairman Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Kamel said the Group's performance was anchored in its commitment to strategic expansion, disciplined risk oversight, and continued support for the communities it serves. Innovation focus Group CEO Houssem Ben Haj Amor highlighted the Group's resilience in the face of global uncertainty, citing its focus on long-term financial sustainability, investment returns, and digital banking innovations. Recent initiatives such as the 'Trade Finance Platform' and 'Borderless Banking' are part of the Group's drive to enhance competitiveness across its international network. With operations in 13 countries and over 600 branches, Al Baraka continues to position itself as a key Islamic financial player committed to growth and innovation in a changing global environment.
