Goldberg's return for his final showdown might be coming sooner than expected.
Goldberg is one of the most dominant names in professional wrestling. The WCW legend is set to put his in-ring career to an end in 2025 with a retirement match.
While it was speculated to happen months ago, it did not take place due to some minor injury issues.
However, with Goldberg recovering and knowing the date of his final match, the seeds could be planted for his feud in the coming week on Monday Night RAW.
Goldberg's final wrestling match will take place in
WWE
According to BodySlam.net's Viper, Goldberg will be making his return to WWE on the upcoming edition of Monday Night RAW, taking place at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He said,
'Goldberg is reportedly planned to return next week on Monday Night Raw.'
The WWE Hall of Famer made his first appearance for the Stamford-based promotion last year at the WWE Bad Blood Premium Live Event after a lengthy absence. He was sitting in the crowd and was called out by The Ring General, Gunther, and it led to the two superheavyweights almost coming to blows before WWE officials intervened.
Since then, it has been highly rumored that Goldberg's final opponent will be Gunther. His final match was supposed to happen earlier; however, he was recovering from a stem cell procedure.

Recently on the Car Cast podcast, the former WWE Universal Champion revealed that he was aware of the date of his retirement showdown.
With this new update, speculation about Goldberg vs. Gunther has been further fueled. The former WCW superstar returning a week after Gunther defeated Jey Uso to win the World Heavyweight Championship could be a sign for their feud. Moreover, Gunther even namedropped post his title win on the Raw Recap show, saying,
'Everyone was speculating that Seth Rollins was gonna do something with his briefcase, or that Goldberg was gonna show up to finally kick my ass.
I
n reality, when I was world champion the first time, all those big names stayed away from me—and for good reason.'
Should Goldberg make his comeback on RAW next week, it will be interesting to see if Gunther is indeed his final foe heading into his retirement match.

Australian Olympic Equestrian Heath Ryan Suspended Over Horse-Whipping Video

Olympian Heath Ryan has been suspended by an "extremely alarmed" Equestrian Australia after a video showed him whipping a horse more than 40 times. The 66-year-old, who represented Australia in dressage at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, said in a statement he had been acting in the animal's "best interests". The video, originally shared to US-based Facebook account Dressage Hub, showed him striking the stallion repeatedly with a narrator saying the horse was "traumatised in every state". Equestrian Australia said it was "extremely alarmed and concerned". "Equestrian Australia has imposed a provisional suspension of this person's membership of Equestrian Australia and their rights, privileges and benefits associated with their membership," it added. The ban will remain in place pending an investigation by its integrity unit. Ryan, a former three-time Australian three-day event champion, defended his actions, saying it had been a "life or death moment" for the horse, named Nico. He said the six-year-old had always been a "problem child" and was destined for the knackery after an incident with a family friend that left her in intensive care. "I felt obliged to the horse to just have a look and see if it was possibly salvageable," he said. "That video was a life or death moment for Nico and I genuinely had to try my very hardest to see if Nico would consider other options. "All of this transpired sincerely with the horse's best interests the sole consideration. Unbelievably, it was so successful for everyone except me with the release of this video." He claimed the video was two years old and posted by a disgruntled ex-employee, with Nico now thriving in a new home. Three-time Olympic dressage gold medallist Charlotte Dujardin missed the Paris Games last year following a different horse-whipping controversy. The British rider was banned just days before the start of the Olympics after a video emerged showing her repeatedly striking a horse on its legs. 'Put him to sleep in the first round' - Ilia Topuria issues a brutal warning for Charles Oliveira ahead of UFC 317 vacant lightweight title bout

Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira. Photo by Chris Unger/Zuffa LLC UFC 317 has everyone's eyes fixated, as fans will see their favourite fighters in action once again after a long hiatus involving weight class moves and multiple rounds of back-and-forth negotiations to finalise the bout. Former featherweight champion Ilia Topuria will now be facing former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira for the vacant lightweight title . While Oliveira is on a mission to reclaim the championship belt, Topuria has his sights set on achieving two-weight championship status and issues a brutal warning for the former lightweight. Ilia Topuria acknowledges Charles Oliveira's fighting abilities while being confident about his own set of skills, aims for a finish in first round itself After winning the featherweight championship belt against Alexander Volkanovski, Ilia Topuria's last bout was against Max Holloway, in which the Georgian fighter retained his title. Having defended his title, the fighter announced his move up to the lightweight division in February 2025, and since then, Topuria started calling out Islam Makhachev, the then-lightweight champion, for a title bout, but was met with no response. Makhachev seemingly was not much interested in facing Topuria and instead wanted to move up the weight category. Post UFC 315, where Belal Muhammad lost his title to Jack Della Maddalena, Makhachev, too, vacated his title and shifted to the welterweight division for a direct title shot. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Trading CFD dengan Teknologi dan Kecepatan Lebih Baik IC Markets Mendaftar Undo Even though the shakeup across the division killed the expectations for a highly anticipated bout between Topuria and Makhachev, El Matador has now been placed against another strong lightweight contender and former champion of the division, Charles Oliveira. Oliveira won three out of his last five bouts, one of which was a title loss to Makhachev. Despite this, he is known for his striking abilities and submission techniques. Trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the fighter has even knocked out some of the greatest contenders of the division, including Michael Chandler and Beneil Dariush. While both fighters are preparing for the upcoming bout with their respective aims set, Topuria acknowledges the abilities of the former lightweight champion, while also believing that a guaranteed win awaits the former featherweight. In a recent interview, the fighter stated, 'Charles is a great fighter. I'd say he's a legendary fighter, one of the few still active in the UFC.' He further continued, 'But the truth is that his style fits perfectly with mine, to put him to sleep in the first round because he has no mobility, he doesn't move.' This makes the upcoming bout crucial for the fighter to establish his prominence once again within the division.
