BMW offer brings EOFY savings across model range
A BMW dealer in Melbourne is kicking off the countdown to the end-of-financial-year with a limited-time offer that could see buyers score savings across the German brand's model range.
From now until May 25, the dealer is offering savings equal to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) for nearly every model it currently offers, except the performance M5 Touring.
The offer brings savings equal to the GST of a vehicle at the manufacturer's recommended drive-away price, and is not available for fleet, government or rental buyers.

Models eligible for savings include the X3 and X5 SUVs, both of which are also available with plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrains.
There's also BMW's current best-selling model, the X1, and several smaller cars like the 1 Series hatch and 3 Series sedan.
All BMW models are covered by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, while the high-voltage battery systems in applicable fully electric models are covered for eight years or 160,000km.
BMW plug-in hybrid batteries are covered for six years or 100,000km.

Subaru teases what could be a new WRX

But while other WRX hallmarks – including a turbocharged boxer engine and all-wheel drive – are almost a given, the grille looks more like the previous-generation WRX's or even the Levorg's. The automaker also said hybrid and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) versions of the new engine are in development, which suggests the new WRX could be given a hybrid push to meet emissions while offering the capability demanded of a high-performance flagship. Japan currently plans to ban sale of new vehicles powered solely by internal combustion engines (ICE) by 2035 but will permit hybrid vehicles alongside battery-electric models. Part of the core WRX make-up is all-wheel drive, which the automaker said it is also working on for the new model with knowledge gained in motor sport. Subaru competes in the 2025 Super Taikyu Series in Japan as Team SDA Engineering with the intention of developing its road car models, with Subaru employees as its drivers. The vehicle will be unveiled at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show scheduled to start on October 30, 2025.
