Florida spring break brawl ends with teen biting off man's ear: police
A man is recovering after having his ear ripped off during an altercation that turned violent on a Florida beach during spring break.The Lee County Sheriff's Office told Fox News Digital that 18-year-old Jack Turner was arrested and faces felony battery charges following the brawl that took place at Fort Myers Beach on St. Patrick's Day.Officials said on Monday, deputies patrolling the area were flagged down in reference to a fight around 5 p.m.The victim, who was not identified, told deputies that he was involved in a physical altercation and a portion of his left ear had been bitten off.POLICE MAKE ARRESTS AT PA HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL GAME AFTER BRAWL IN STANDS: 'NEVER SEEN ANYTHING THIS UGLY'A bystander shared footage of the brawl with deputies and claimed she could hear Turner calling the victim racial slurs and then jump him from behind, according to the police report obtained and reviewed by Fox News Digital. Turner then pulled up the victim's head and appeared to bite the victim's ear causing a "traumatic auricular amputation," according to the report.Deputies also learned that the victim and Turner knew each other. A spokesperson for the department shared a statement from Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno with Fox News Digital, who said there is "zero tolerance for violence of any kind" on their beach. "Sheriff Carmine Marceno has ZERO tolerance for violence of any kind! Fort Myers Beach will continue to remain safe for all visitors and residents of Lee County!" the statement read.The agency said that in response to the brawl, additional deputies will be patrolling Fort Myers Beach to "ensure the safety and security of everyone."

A former immigrant shelter director in Massachusetts is petitioning Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice to launch an investigation into the "disturbing pattern" of criminal activity, sexual assaults and financial abuse that he says is widespread in the state-run migrant shelter system. Jon Fetherston, a former director of an immigrant shelter in Marlborough, Massachusetts, first blew the whistle about the widespread abuse in the shelter system after he discovered a Haitian migrant named Ronald Joseph, who was living in his shelter, had repeatedly raped and impregnated his 13-year-old daughter. Fetherston previously told Fox News Digital that as soon as Joseph heard he was losing custody of his daughter, he "reached across the table and grabbed me and got angry with me and started cursing and yelling and screaming and swinging at me because he realized what was happening." However, instead of being arrested immediately, Fetherston was directed to order Joseph a Lyft ride to another shelter in Worcester County. Joseph was not arrested until eight months in February. In a letter sent to Bondi on Monday, Fetherston said that this was "not an isolated incident" but despite his raising the alarm, "there has been a deliberate wall of silence. No reforms. No accountability. Just more spin, stonewalling, and bureaucratic excuses." "This is a crisis — one that requires federal action now," he said. Fetherston is now asking Bondi to launch a full investigation into criminal activity and sexual violence within Massachusetts-run migrant shelters, widespread fraud and misuse of federal and state funds, the deliberate refusal to coordinate with federal law enforcement agencies and the pattern of retaliation against those reporting abuse, danger or misconduct. Katy Perry fan arrested after storming stage during Australian concert
Katy Perry's performance took an abrupt turn after a fan approached her on stage. A man has been arrested and charged with two offenses after he ambushed the pop star during a concert in confirmed with Fox News Digital that around 9:20 p.m. on Monday, June 9, a man jumped on stage and was detained by security. "The man was arrested by police and taken to Auburn Police Station where he was charged with two offenses - [entering] enclosed lands - not prescribed premises and [obstructing] person in performance of work or duties," the statement from Burwood Police Area Command read. The disruptive fan was granted conditional bail and is scheduled to appear at Burwood Local Court on June 23, 2025. He was additionally issued a six-month banning notice for the Sydney Olympic Park precinct. In a fan video, the man was seen running towards Perry as she was about to take her mic off the stand, during her performance on the Australia leg of her Lifetimes Tour. Two security guards chased the man offstage, as another staff member walked behind them. House rep eyes border 'safety net' fund as DHS urges Congress for more money
FIRST ON FOX: A new House GOP bill would create a "safety net" of federal funds for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to help in emergency situations. Rep. Michael Rulli, R-Ohio, told Fox News Digital he's introducing a bill to create a Border Enforcement Trust Fund using federal revenues from excise taxes on gambling. The legislation would reroute roughly $300 million per year that's currently going into the U.S. Treasury's general fund through taxes on gambling operations. "In the last 48 hours, we've seen this summer of hate, which we saw several years ago, happening again in Los Angeles, where you have complete anarchy and the burning down of the city itself," Rulli told Fox News Digital in an interview. "It'd be a shame to take all that money and put it in the general fund, and it would just be lost when we could use it just for our border [needs], which we all saw in this last election is the No. 1 issue in the country," Rulli said.
