'Israeli' minister storms West Bank village

Israeli Occupation Defense Minister Yisrael Katz stormed the Palestinian village of Sanur, south of Jenin, on Friday, one of several sites where the 'Israeli' government has approved the construction of new illegal settlements.
Sanur was previously evacuated of settlers in 2005 as part of the unilateral disengagement plan under then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.
During his provocative visit, Katz declared that the Israeli Occupation plans to build the so-called 'Jewish Israeli state' in the occupied West Bank.
'This is a firm response to those trying to harm us and weaken our grip on this land,' Katz said in a statement issued by his office.
His comments came in response to French President Emmanuel Macron's recent remarks calling recognition of a Palestinian state a moral obligation and a political necessity.
'They will recognize a Palestinian state on paper,' Katz claimed, 'but we will build the Jewish Israeli state here on the ground.'

Hamas submits response to Steve Witkoff's ceasefire proposal

The Palestinian group Hamas formally submitted its response to a recent ceasefire proposal presented by US envoy Steve Witkoff, the movement announced on Saturday, following a series of internal national consultations. In a public statement, Hamas said the response reflects its 'high responsibility toward our people and their suffering,' and that it is designed to meet key demands: a permanent ceasefire, the full withdrawal of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) from the Gaza Strip, and unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in the besieged territory. 'As part of this agreement, ten living Israeli captives held by the resistance will be released, along with the handover of eighteen bodies, in exchange for an agreed-upon number of Palestinian prisoners,' the statement read. Hamas did not disclose the number of Palestinian detainees it seeks in return, but stressed that any deal must address the wider suffering of Palestinians under the ongoing "Israeli" assault and siege on Gaza. The latest initiative, led by Witkoff with support from regional mediators, follows months of stalled negotiations and repeated calls by the international community for an end to the war, which has left tens of thousands of Palestinians dead or displaced and triggered a growing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.

Palestinian VP slams "Israel" for blocking Arab delegation's visit to Ramallah

Palestinian Vice President Hussein Al-Sheikh condemned the Israeli Occupation's decision to block the arrival of the Arab-Islamic delegation to Ramallah. He described the move as a dangerous escalation, calling it an arrogant, provocative, and unprecedented act. In a post on X, Sheikh stated that discussions are underway with Arab partners to determine how to respond to the decision. The Israeli occupation's decision to prevent the Arab-Islamic delegation from reaching Ramallah is a dangerous escalation that reflects arrogant, provocative, and unprecedented behavior. We are examining, along with our Arab brothers, how to respond to this decision. — حسين الشيخ Hussein Al Sheikh (@HusseinSheikhpl) May 31, 2025 The delegation had decided to postpone the visit to Ramallah due to the Israeli Occupation's obstruction, after it denied the delegation entry through the airspace over the occupied West Bank, which is controlled by the "Israeli" entity. The delegation includes the committee's head, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia; Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain; Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt; and Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League. Also in attendance is Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan, who is meeting with his counterparts this evening and tomorrow. In a joint statement today, the delegation affirmed that 'Israel's' decision to prevent the visit to Ramallah and the meeting with President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, and other Palestinian officials, constitutes a blatant violation of Israel's obligations as the occupying power. They added that the decision reflects the arrogance of the "Israeli" government, its disregard for international law, and its ongoing illegal practices and policies that besiege the Palestinian people and their legitimate leadership, entrench the occupation, and undermine the prospects for a just and comprehensive peace.

Netanyahu: Iran is totally determined to build nuclear weapons

The Israeli Occupation has issued a sharp warning over Iran's nuclear intentions following a new report from the United Nations' nuclear watchdog revealing an uptick in Iran's production of highly enriched uranium. In a statement released Saturday, "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said the findings offer a 'clear warning sign' that Iran is moving closer to acquiring a nuclear weapon. 'Iran is totally determined to complete its nuclear weapons programme,' the statement read. 'Such a level of enrichment exists only in countries actively pursuing nuclear weapons and has no civilian justification whatsoever.'
