Dakota Johnson stepped out in Tribeca on June 5 wearing a sheer dress. The outfit consisted of a strapless leotard underneath sheer fabric that featured a high neckline and long-sleeves.
The Fifty Shades of Grey star was photographed leaving her hotel in New York City before heading to tape Late Night With Seth Meyers. This marked the latest stop on Johnson's recent press tour for the new film, Materialists.
The outing comes just days after People magazine reported that Johnson and her fiance Chris Martin had split.
"It feels final this time," a source told the outlet. Neither Johnson nor the Coldplay singer, who had been dating since 2017, have spoken out about the reports. The two were last photographed together in mid-May.
For now, Johnson seems focused on her career — and her newest film. It's really the first time that she's appeared in a rom-com outside of Fifty Shades, which was a bit more... intense.
In an interview with the LA Times, Johnson explained that she chose not to take on rom-com rolls because "they're not good."

'I think a lot of what I read these days is void of soul and heart. And Celine is all soul and heart. I really love a rom-com if it feels like I can connect to the people in it. And I think I've found it hard to connect to the people in some of the ones that I've been offered," she said, referring to Materialists director, Celine Song.
But Johnson admits she couldn't turn down this particular role. The reason?
'The complexities of all of the characters. The paradox. Everyone being confused about what the f— they're supposed to do with their hearts. And what's the right move? I found that very honest and I found it just so relatable," she said.

A day does not pass without him acknowledging how lucky he is to have caring family, friends, music business associates and fans,' he wrote. Carter added some details about Sweet's current physical condition. 'Matthew is wheelchair bound due to a lack of coordination in his legs (caused by stroke induced ataxia) and he does not have sufficient coordination in his hands to even try to play instruments. This is a very hard predicament to endure,' he explained. Carter added that most of the money raised through the initial GoFundMe campaign has been spent and Sweet, 60, still has some remaining hospital bills that need to be paid, so he's asking for fans to donate again, if they can.
