Today's Tarot Card: Ace of Swords
There is an emphasis today on choosing clarity over chaos within your being. Your mind is sharp, but emotions can disrupt your focus if you react too quickly. It is easier to make a decision when one listens to reason rather than getting caught up in soap opera drama.
Lucky Advice: Clear thoughts bring strong results.

Lucky Advice: Trust silence more than outside noise.

Capricorn Tarot Horoscope Today

Resetting begins with a single breath; therefore, today invites you to let down the burden from within your head and start anew. In the doing, it is not required of you to heal everything immediately, but simply to pause and let the process of revival commence. Forgive yourself for any past delays or mistakes that you may have made.
You are human, and today is a new chance for repair and growth. If you stop holding it down, something inside you will rise.
Lucky Advice: Begin again with gentle self-trust.
Aquarius Tarot Horoscope Today

Maintain calm when others choose anger. Emotional storms may manifest themselves today from without, yet you needn't get caught up in them. Stay centred just long enough to respond and not react. Your inner world being at peace is a great strength at this moment, so let your patience be a virtue that either quells or outshines any noise.
Quiet strength is far more eloquent than loud protest. Be that calm spirit the world is craving.
Lucky Advice: Stay grounded when chaos surrounds you.
Pisces Tarot Horoscope Today
Today's Tarot Card: The Fool
Your feelings of attraction today hold wisdom, even if they seem wayward or whimsical. Let those sparks guide you; they may lead somewhere meaningful. You are being invited to trust curiosity again. A new path or idea may not have logic behind it, but your heart recognises its truth. The unexpected can be your friend. Growth usually begins where plans end.
Lucky Advice: Trust the pull of your heart.

'Respect for the lives lost': UK Royal family's tribute to Ahmedabad plane crash victims; moment of silence observed
King Charles III and other members of the royal family wore black armbands and observed a minute's silence during his official birthday parade on Saturday, in memory of those who died in this week's Air India plane crash . The symbolic gesture came at the King's request. A statement from Buckingham Palace said it was made 'as a mark of respect for the lives lost, the families in mourning and all the communities affected by this awful tragedy.' The crash happened on Thursday, shortly after an Air India flight took off from Ahmedabad, heading for London. The accident claimed the lives of 241 people on board and at least 29 more on the ground. The plane was carrying 169 Indian nationals, 53 Britons, seven Portuguese citizens and one Canadian. Only one person survived. As the head of state of the United Kingdom and head of the Commonwealth – which includes India and Canada – the King's tribute during such a major public event held added significance. The parade, known as Trooping the Colour, is a traditional military ceremony in central London, full of music and pageantry. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Free P2,000 GCash eGift UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo It marks the monarch's official birthday and includes a grand review of troops on Horse Guards Parade near St James's Park. This is not the first time such a gesture has been made during Trooping the Colour. In 2017, Queen Elizabeth II also observed a moment of silence at the same event, just days after the Grenfell Tower fire, which killed 72 people.

5 legendary Mughal rulers and the facts that made them unforgettable
The Mughal Empire played a major role in shaping the history of the Indian subcontinent. From introducing new systems of administration to building some of the most iconic monuments, the Mughals left behind a legacy that continues to influence India's cultural and historical identity. While many emperors ruled during the Mughal period, a few stood out for their leadership and the lasting changes they brought to the empire. Their contributions helped define the political, cultural, and architectural direction of the time. At its peak– between the mid-1500s and early 1700s– the empire controlled almost the entire Indian subcontinent, with vast resources and a strong military. The first six emperors– Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jahangir , Shah Jahan, and Aurangzeb– are often referred to as the 'Great Mughals' for the key roles they played in the empire's rise and influence. In this article, we focus on five of these rulers whose reigns had a lasting impact on Indian history. Babur Babur was born in 1483 into a family with a strong legacy– his ancestors included Timur and Genghis Khan. After losing control of Central Asia, he turned his attention towards India. In 1526, he defeated the Lodi Sultanate at the First Battle of Panipat, marking the beginning of Mughal rule in India. His time as emperor was short, but Babur played a key role in laying the foundation of the Mughal Empire. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 오스템 임플란트 받아가세요 임플란터 더 알아보기 Undo He also wrote the Baburnama, an autobiography where he shared his thoughts, stories, and what life was like during his time. His vision helped shape what would go on to become one of the most powerful empires in India's history. Humayun Humayun, Babur's son, became emperor in 1530, but his time on the throne wasn't smooth. From the beginning, he faced tough challenges, especially from Sher Shah Suri, who defeated him and forced him into exile for several years. Still, Humayun didn't give up. He came back to India and regained the throne in 1555. Unfortunately, just a year later, he passed away after a fall in his library– a sudden and tragic end. His rule had many ups and downs, but Humayun's persistence helped keep the Mughal dynasty alive. More importantly, he set the stage for his son Akbar, who would take the empire to new heights. Akbar Akbar became emperor when he was just 13, but he quickly showed that he had the vision and strength to lead. Through his many military campaigns, he expanded the Mughal Empire across much of the Indian subcontinent. But what really set him apart were his ideas about ruling with fairness and inclusion. He is especially remembered for promoting religious harmony. Akbar gave important roles to people from different faiths and introduced policies that balanced power between the central government and local communities. Even though he couldn't read or write, he deeply valued knowledge and was a strong supporter of art, culture, and learning. His reign, from 1556 to 1605, is often seen as the most peaceful and successful period in the Mughal era. Jahangir After Akbar's death, his son Jahangir took over as emperor in 1605. Since he inherited a strong and stable empire, he was able to focus more on art, culture, and beauty. Under his rule, Mughal miniature paintings reached new heights, and his court became known for its rich artistic expression. There were some moments of unrest during his reign, and Jahangir was also known for his personal indulgences. But despite that, he managed to hold the empire together. While he may not be remembered for major political changes, his deep interest in art and culture played a big role in shaping the Mughal legacy. Shah Jahan Shah Jahan ruled from 1628 to 1658 and is best remembered for the beautiful buildings he created. The most famous of them all is the Taj Mahal , which he built in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Even today, it's seen as a symbol of love and Mughal-era design. He also built impressive structures like the Red Fort, showing the artistic brilliance of his time. His rule began on a strong note, with peace, prosperity, and cultural growth. But things changed in his later years. After he fell seriously ill, his son Aurangzeb took over the throne and kept Shah Jahan under house arrest until he passed away. Despite the difficult end to his life, Shah Jahan's legacy lives on through the timeless monuments he left behind– structures that still represent the glory and elegance of the Mughal Empire. Aries, Weekly Horoscope, June 15 to June 21, 2025: Experience a week of fluctuating fortunes
The week opens on a strong, auspicious note for Aries natives. The early days find you basking in respect and social honor, while your professional or business efforts attract promising orders and opportunities. However, even as things seem bright, there's an undercurrent of uncertainty—you may struggle with bouts of self-doubt or indecision. Harness this positive energy, but don't rush into critical choices; take time to reflect before acting. As the week progresses, expect some emotional ups and downs. By midweek, your persuasive abilities and charm draw positive attention, especially in social or family gatherings. Unexpected guests could arrive at home, reminding you of the importance of hospitality and family bonds. The second half of the week becomes more challenging—financial pressures may mount, and misunderstandings can arise, particularly within your immediate family. Be alert to potential conflicts with siblings or your spouse, as tempers may flare easily. The weekend brings a mix of relief and fresh confusion, so ground yourself before making key decisions. Fortunately, the week concludes on a high note, with celebration and unity in your household helping to restore your inner equilibrium. Love and Relationships: Romance sees its share of highs and lows this week. Early on, your magnetic presence will be felt by your partner and admirers alike; singles may attract attention with their eloquence and warmth. You're encouraged to nurture this energy—small gestures and open communication will go a long way. However, as the week advances, misunderstandings could create tension, especially if you're already burdened by work or financial worries. A sibling's interference or a domestic disagreement could cloud the mood. Avoid sharp words and be patient; arguments now can leave lasting scars. Thankfully, by the weekend, affection returns. With a little effort, you and your partner can rediscover joy together. For those unattached, social or family events may open the door to new, meaningful connections. The support of your spouse in family matters becomes a blessing, especially toward the end of the week, and your ability to communicate with kindness will help mend any rifts. Education and Career: Students and professionals should brace for a fluctuating week. In the early phase, academic pursuits and business ventures gain momentum—helpful classmates or colleagues will assist in your endeavors, and creative solutions will abound. Midweek is especially favorable for investing in your professional future, such as enrolling in a course or taking on new responsibilities at work. Use your sharp mind and strong communication skills to push projects forward. However, the latter half of the week may feel burdensome, with setbacks or extra expenditures hampering your progress. If you're employed, minor disagreements at work or bureaucratic delays could test your patience. Don't get discouraged; your tenacity will carry you through. Students may notice improved performance, particularly if they seek help from friends. By week's end, recognition and support from superiors or mentors could come your way—but remember to balance ambition with rest to avoid burnout. Money and Finance: Financially, the week is a mixed bag. The early days favor businesspeople—orders may come in easily, and a clever investment or two could bear fruit later on. Speculation, when well considered, can bring future relief. However, this period also warns against rash or impulsive decisions, as expenditures may soon outpace income. From midweek onward, keep a tight rein on your wallet: unplanned expenses or family-related spending could eat into your reserves. Avoid large purchases or risky investments during the latter half of the week, as financial missteps may have lingering consequences. Seek advice before committing to anything substantial. As the week wraps up, a sense of stability returns—possibly through small windfalls or the resolution of outstanding debts. Your spouse or family may offer practical support, reinforcing the idea that wise, collaborative planning ensures long-term security. Health and Well-being: Your energy levels ebb and flow this week, making self-care essential. The week begins with robust health, but as your responsibilities pile up, physical and emotional fatigue may set in. Pay attention to warning signs: overexertion, especially around midweek, could lead to minor ailments such as headaches or eye strain. Mood swings or stress-related symptoms are possible, so regular breaks, mindful eating, and hydration are important. Mental well-being benefits greatly from family gatherings and the comfort of home; participating in joyful events with loved ones will uplift your spirits. Recite calming mantras or practice relaxation techniques to maintain inner peace—especially on days when anxiety creeps in. The week ends with a sense of renewal, as your relationships and home life help restore your sense of purpose and balance.
