's love story, which began on the sets of their 2010 film Ye Maaya Chesave (YMC), was one for the ages. From co-stars to one of South cinema's most beloved couples, the two tied the knot in 2017 with dual ceremonies, Hindu and Christian, reflecting their respective faiths.
However, their fairy-tale romance ended in 2021 when they announced their separation after nearly four years of marriage.
Samantha's back tattoo missing in new video
During their time together, Samantha had gotten three tattoos symbolising her relationship with Chaitanya, including the 'YMC' inked on her upper back as a tribute to the film where their love began.
Now, four years post-divorce, fans believe Samantha may have removed that tattoo.
In a recent Instagram video, the actress is seen in a burgundy backless dress writing 'Nothing to Hide' on a glass screen. But what caught eagle-eyed fans' attention was the absence of the iconic 'YMC' tattoo.
The comments section quickly filled with speculation. 'Samantha got her YMC tattoo removed,' wrote one user. Another suggested, 'It's covered by foundation for the ad.' A third remarked, 'For a moment I thought it was about something else.'
