I have dry skin 24/7 — this $15 cream takes me from scaly to glowy in seconds
I was "blessed" with a scaly complexion all year round — yes, even in summer. Add in the dehydrating effects of having the AC on full blast, and the dryness factor shoots way up. While having sandpaper-like skin is frustrating, I'm here to tell you that, yes, you can achieve a dewy finish with the right products, and celeb-favorite Weleda Skin Food is my ride-or-die. At just $15, it's super budget-friendly and — I'm not exaggerating — it hydrates my dull, flaky skin in seconds, leaving it glowing.
Related: The best moisturizers for dry skin to stay hydrated in 2025
I first learned about Weleda Skin Food on (where else?) good old TikTok. From Julia Fox of Uncut Gems to Rhode skin care founder Hailey Bieber, celebrities on the app can't get enough of this ultra-moisturizing cream. Even Julia Roberts, the queen of glowy skin, swears by the stuff — and for good reason.
Packed with plant extracts like rosemary, chamomile and pansy, along with sunflower and sweet almond oils, this top-selling (as in, over 10,000 tubes purchased this month) moisturizer lives up to its name — it is, essentially, food for your skin. Its creamy, hydrating formula has a moisture-locking beeswax and botanical oil base to help hydrate rough, thirsty skin, leaving it more radiant. This 100-year-old product also eschews parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances and preservatives, and it's certified natural by Natrue, an international natural and organic cosmetics association.
The first time I used Weleda Skin Food, I was worried it would feel too heavy on my skin. It has a very thick, rich texture, and the TikTok videos I'd watched advised using it sparingly. That said, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it didn't feel heavy at all when applied in moderation, and I was instantly enamored of its light, citrusy scent. I was also blown away by how dramatically different my skin looked just moments after slathering it on.
You know how some people have skin that literally glows? That looks impossibly fresh and hydrated? That's how my eczema-prone skin appeared (and felt) as soon as it was graced with this cream. It had just the right amount of shimmer without looking greasy, and I couldn't believe how quickly my skin went from dragon-like to dewy. Most impressive of all? It kept my skin's flakiness in check all day.
Though this cruelty-free product is excellent for softening particularly bumpy patches — think elbows, knees and hands — I love using it on my face as a makeup primer. If you have sensitive skin or are prone to clogged pores, you may want to tread lightly, but I find that its ever-so-slightly tacky texture provides just the right amount of grip for my foundation to cling to. I hate the feeling of having products pile up on my face, especially during the warmer months, so having a two-in-one moisturizer and primer is a home run in my book. It's also effective at keeping my concealer from caking under my eyes, which alone makes it worth the price.
I haven't tried it on my hair, but the brand claims it can also be used to help smooth frizziness and moisturize dry ends — and I wouldn't doubt it. I've also worn it alone without makeup because it makes my skin look better than any other product ever has. Where has this been all my life?
One thing to note is that the cream does contain lanolin, which is derived from wool. This ingredient can help condition and moisturize dry skin, but you'll want to avoid it if you have a wool allergy. I mentioned that this product doesn't contain synthetic fragrances, but it does have a fragrance, albeit one derived from natural essential oils. If you experience irritation from products with any sort of fragrance, you might consider testing it on a small patch of skin first — a good rule of thumb when using anything on your skin for the first time.
With over 25,000 five-star ratings, Weleda Skin Food is a bona fide hit with Amazon shoppers.
"At 60-plus, my face is drier than ever before, and after years of using luxury brands, I tried experimenting with new products," explained a convert. "I love this! It makes my skin soft and smooth. Even looks great under a tinted moisturizer. No more dry, flaky spots!"
"After years of consistent use, I have softened the sun damage/wrinkles on my old-white-lady chest," shared a longtime slatherer. "I am able to use [it] around my eyes without a problem. I am allergic to every facial moisturizer I have ever tried except for this one."
"This product is very thick and nourishing," shared a third. "It usually takes very little to cover and moisturize my face and neck. One tube lasts me up to six months. I have no issues with applying makeup over it or just powder. It will give a definite shine to your face until thoroughly absorbed, so I usually prefer to just put a bit of translucent powder on my forehead and T-zone."
"The scent can be a little overpowering for those who have a delicate nose," admitted a mostly satisfied shopper. "I absolutely love this face moisturizer, it is the best hydrating product for my skin."
"Keep in mind that this is a very thick moisturizer, and you may not like that if your skin isn't dry," heeded a final fan. "For dry skin, it's amazing."
Psst: Here's the also-affordable lotion I use for the rest of my body:

Taylor Swift Sneakily Attended a Wedding With Travis Kelce in a Strapless Blue Dress
This week, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were guests at a backyard wedding in Tennessee and though all eyes were on the bride and groom, some pictures of the famous couple showed them having a romantic evening of their own. The dress code appeared to be summer casual and Swift fit in perfectly in a strapless blue dress with a small flower pattern, structured bodice, and flowing skirt that ended at her ankles. On her feet, she wore tan high-heeled sandals. The Eras Tour star had her hair half up and wore a bracelet and small pieces of jewelry for accessories. Kelce was wearing dress pants and a short-sleeved button-down shirt in brown. In a TikTok shared by creator @laurenelizabethduhhh, Swift and Kelce can be seen seated side-by-side at a long table, watching the newly wedded couple enjoy their first dance. Swift starts swaying to the music and Kelce joins her in a cute shared moment. Since the end of the NFL season in February, Swift and Kelce have been enjoying some quality time together out of the spotlight. This week, they were seen in Florida together, where Swift wore a classic little black dress to their dinner date. Just before the images of their date night started circulating, a source told Us Weekly that the two were keeping a low profile on purpose right now. 'They are making fewer public appearances together because [their relationship] brings too much unwanted attention, but there isn't trouble in paradise,' the insider explained. A second source shared that Swift has been living in both Miami, where Kelce has been training during his offseason, and New York: 'Taylor has been coming and going to Florida and is still spending a lot of her time in NYC.' And it appears she's making some special time for Tennessee.

New Photo of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift at Wedding on Friday
New Photo of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift at Wedding on Friday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. On Friday evening, fans have been circulating this candid photo of Taylor Swift at a wedding in Nashville, Tennessee. The picture was originally posted to TikTok by a wedding guest, but was deleted an hour later. As the photo made its way through X, many fans encouraged users to delete it because the wedding was still ongoing, and they wanted to respect the couple's privacy and safety. According to fans and TikTok comments, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Swift, his girlfriend of almost two years, were attending Kelce's cousin's wedding. As the ceremony goes on, more TikToks and photos from the wedding have emerged, including this zoomed-up picture of Kelce walking with Swift, standing a few feet away from him, talking to another wedding guest. Many fans have taken notice that Kelce's physical appearance has changed since things started getting serious with Swift. In this evening's ceremony, the tight end is seen wearing a light olive-green and white striped short-sleeved button-up shirt with a pair of brown pants. Meanwhile, Swift stunned in a sleeveless baby blue midi dress with pink flowers and a pair of brown wedges. Her wavy hair was worn down and she seemed to be wearing a simple gold bracelet on her wrist in other photos. The couple has been trying to keep a relatively low profile since the end of Swift's "Eras Tour" in December 2024 and Kelce and the Chiefs losing the Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles in February, they have been spotted in Palm Beach, Florida, quite frequently these past couple of weeks. On Wednesday evening, the couple was seen enjoying a dinner date at Buccan, with Swift wearing a black mini dress and a pair of nude wedges. Then on May 23, they were spotted eating together at Harry's Bar and Restaurant, sitting side-by-side in a booth and enjoying their night. Kelce has been very busy during his offseason, but he is expected to attend Chiefs OTAs on Monday and the mandatory minicamp from June 17 to June story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jun 7, 2025, where it first appeared.

It solves the problem of searching for batteries when you need them. I see myself buying fewer batteries as now, all my batteries are neatly stored in one central location. The tester is a great feature. It takes the guesswork out of what is normally a very tedious chore of finding the right battery, making sure it's a good battery, and determining if the problem lies with the battery or the actual device. Would highly recommend this to anyone seeking to organize their battery supply. Not some cheap plastic, but a really durable and solid product. Also makes a great gift!" —Howard NYGet it from Amazon for $19.99. A set of tiered shelves to give equal attention to everything in your pantry, from spices to oils and vinegars. Each stand has three shelves and is 2.75" deep, perfect for organizing spices, soup or vegetable cans, sauces, and more. Promising review: "I added this item to my shopping list several weeks ago and I'm so glad I finally committed to buying it. As a vegetarian, I've found that I have to add double the spice just to get a real kick in the dishes I prepare. Not to mention, making sure that I have all the spices that I'm going to need while being quarantining/social distancing. With that said, my spice cabinet was atrocious before I got these racks. And I am so happy to finally be able to grab my spices without knocking over the other ones and making even more of a mess. I didn't know something so small and plain could bring me so much joy. Buy it now! You will not be disappointed." —Arie it from Amazon for $7.99+ (available in two sizes and 12 colors). A six-tier plant stand if you're short on space but not on houseplants. It fits up to six 7-inch pots and is wholly made of bamboo. Bamboo is an excellent material for a plant stand because it's way more water-resistant than wood. A sleek magnetic stove shelf that converts that awkward space on top of your stove into a little ledge. It's perfect for holding everyday cooking items like spices and olive oil, or all those random spices you'll need to make Mom's world-famous chili. A pack of two transparent dividers so you can get the most out of the shelving in your closet. Sweaters, pants, T-shirts, and other foldable items can be sorted into specific areas instead of being piled into drawers. Promising review: "These dividers have changed my life! I put them on the top shelf of my clothes closet and divide sections into the type of clothes I want. One section has blue jeans, another section has black pants, another section has lightweight summer pants, and I can see everything just looking up at the shelf. My closet is no longer a mess, and the top shelf above the hanging clothes is no longer the place where I just throw things and can't keep track of them. I never knew what was up there, but now I do! As I said, I just bought a second set of them for my second closet." —Elizabeth Get it from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in clear, black, or white and in packs of two, four, six, or eight). I purchased two of these organizers (yes, you do need two PER drawer) to organize my underwear drawer. The gratification I got from being able to see exactly what I had, neatly organized, easy to find... Wow. I definitely recommend this product.
