Homeowners find black bear sitting on kitchen stove after crashing through ceiling
It was a page straight out of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' when a black bear was found inside the kitchen of a Kentucky home after crashing through the ceiling.
The incident happened in the early morning hours of May 21, when a game warden was called to a residence in Bell County regarding a black bear inside the home, according to a Facebook post by the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Law Enforcement page.

'Upon arrival, the bear was located sitting on the stove in the kitchen,' the department shared.
Images show the bear inside the home, curled up on the kitchen stove, and a large hole above in the ceiling.
With assistance from a Bell County Sheriff's deputy, officials said the warden was able to 'run the bear out through an open door.'
The department said after investigating, it was determined that the bear had climbed up a ladder outside and squeezed through an opening into the attic.

'The bear then fell through the ceiling into the residence below,' the department concluded.
'Upon arrival, the bear was located sitting on the stove in the kitchen,' the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Law Enforcement shared.

'Can you imagine walking into your kitchen half asleep to make a pot of coffee and there being a bear on your stove,' one person wrote in the comments on the images.

'Must've been looking for his pic-a-nic basket,' another person wrote in a nod to cartoon icon Yogi Bear.
'The scary thing is how smart this bear is to figure out how to get in …..not your average bear,' another person commented.
'Smokey the Bear was just popping in to let you know that only you can prevent forest fires,' another comment read.
It was not known if anyone was home at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.

"It dropped me to the floor," Drummond said of the 19-year-old's death. "I don't know if I've still accepted it." Hernandez was expecting his first child, a boy to be named Zion, with his longtime girlfriend this summer. "Whether he was jumping off cliffs, climbing mountains on camping trips, or swimming across Pueblo Reservoir, he approached every adventure with a fearless heart and a bright smile," the obituary adds. Reports of a large presence of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers at locations in Cathedral City and Palm Springs circulated online Friday along with videos and images that appear to show the agency's officers and their vehicles. ICE had not responded to a request from The Desert Sun for information about the nature of the observed activity as of late Friday afternoon. Luz Gallegos, executive director of TODEC, an organization that advocates for the rights of immigrants, said volunteers had observed activity in the area. They said the operation appeared to have been targeted toward someone in particular and not a mass immigration sweep. But the organization is still waiting on additional information to confirm, she added. Rep. Raul Ruiz, a Democrat who represents parts of the Coachella Valley, said in a statement Friday afternoon that he has "formally requested more information from ICE regarding the raid by masked agents in unmarked vehicles in Cathedral City.' Ruiz added that he was 'actively monitoring the situation and following reports.' Local anxiety and concern was stoked as immigration sweeps were reported across Los Angeles Friday. MCPARC seeking information after marijuana-themed graffiti found on rail trail
FAIRMONT, (WBOY) — Marion County Parks and Recreation (MCPARC) is asking for the public's help after marijuana-themed graffiti was recently found along the West Fork Rail Trail. According to a Facebook post from MCPARC, the graffiti is located on the bridge that crosses the West Fork River near the Norway neighborhood, which is just west of Fairmont. MCPARC said that these 'senseless acts' cost time and money to repair and that the perpetrator will be prosecuted if they're caught. Alert issued for disguised Chinese vaping products targeting West Virginia kids MCPARC added in the comment section of the post that more vulgar pieces of graffiti were omitted from the post and could be found 'all over the railings' in several places. Local trailgoers also took to the comments, with one claiming that the graffiti wasn't present when they traveled through on June 4.
