Danny O'Donoghue marries long-term girlfriend Anais Niang
Danny O'Donoghue has married his partner Anais Niang. The Script frontman, 44, tied the knot with his long-term events manager girlfriend, 31, at a ceremony on Thursday (08.05.25) in the UK and the pair are delighted to have become husband and wife. The couple told MailOnline: "We're over the moon to be married and now we take the first steps on the journey of the rest of our lives together!" Danny and Anais have been together for five years after meeting by chance in London during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Irish singer revealed that his partner had received his mother's approval when they made their red carpet debut together at the Pride of Britain Awards in 2021. He said at the time: "We actually live in the same part of London, and up until now we've mainly just been hanging out at home. My mum loved her, and offered her lots of tea." Danny proposed to Anais when the pair holidayed in Norway last year and explained that he had to keep his romantic gesture a secret as the pair climbed up a mountain. 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved' artist said: "We hiked up to the top of a mountain to face the most beautiful waterfall in the world, The Seven Sisters. It's our favourite place on Earth. "I nearly passed out from exhaustion carrying up all the champagne, glasses and food for if she said yes. I had to do it all without her knowing." Danny also recalled how he knew that his partner was 'The One'. He explained: "When you know, you know... I knew when it wasn't right, but now I know whatever that is, that it's 100 per cent right. "She's great. I met her during Covid and if you've been with anybody through Covid it's like you compress ten years into these years. "You learn everything, all the good bits, mostly the bad bits, and if you get through those moments... I don't know if it's a rite of passage, if you've made it through those few years then you know." O'Donoghue previously revealed that he went "off the rails" following the death of his bandmate Mark Sheehan, who passed away aged 46 in 2023 following a short illness. He told Virgin Media One's 'Six O'Clock Show': "I went off the rails after Mark passed. I went heavy on drinking, smoking and eating c*** food, really went off the rails. "I had writers block, a mental block because I could not articulate what was going on because everything comes into question, not just should we carry on as a band, but is there a God? Why? There is no answers to these questions."

Shameless star and Everton manager to be honoured at Windsor Castle
Bafta-winning Shameless actor Anne-Marie Duff and Everton manager David Moyes will be honoured by the Prince of Wales at a ceremony at Windsor Castle on Wednesday. The pair will both be formally made Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to drama and Association Football respectively. They were named in the New Year Honours list. In 2024, Ms Duff, 54, won a best supporting actress Bafta for her lead role as Grace Williams in Apple TV's comedy series Bad Sisters. She also secured awards for playing eldest daughter Fiona Gallagher in Channel 4's Bafta-winning show Shameless. The comedy drama followed a dysfunctional working-class family living on the fictional Chatsworth council estate in Manchester with an alcoholic father. Former Celtic and Preston centre-back player Mr Moyes, 62, went on to manage Manchester United and West Ham. The Glaswegian managed Everton from 2002 to 2013 and returned to the job this year. Chief executive of fashion giant Chanel, Leena Nair, 55, will also be made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE). The British-Indian national became the first female, first Asian, and youngest ever chief human resources officer at consumer goods multinational Unilever. A museum manager on the remote South Atlantic island of South Georgia will be awarded the Polar Medal for her work. Sarah Lurcock is the director of the heritage trust on the subantarctic British overseas territory. It is around 800 miles (1,287km) south-east of the Falkland Islands and has no permanent residents. An artist from St Lucia, Sir Llewellyn Xavier, is to be formally knighted for services to community infrastructure and development on the island. England national team footballer Millie Bright was made an OBE for services to Association Football but will not now be attending Wednesday's ceremony. The Chelsea defender underwent minor knee surgery last week, the day after she withdrew from the European Championship selection.

Aaron Rodgers tied the knot 'a couple of months ago'
Aaron Rodgers is married. The 41-year-old NFL star - who has previously dated the likes of Olivia Munn and Shailene Woodley - confirmed during a press conference on Tuesday (10.06.25) that he tied the knot "a couple of months" ago, although he refused to share any further details about his wedding. Aaron previously revealed that he was dating a woman called Brittani. The sports star shared the news during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show in December. Asked about his plans for the festive season, Aaron replied: "There was one package left for my girlfriend Brittani that hadn't showed up yet. I was waiting on this to show up, it showed up today." Aaron subsequently opened up about his love life, laughing off the idea that he was dating pop star Britney Spears. He clarified: "Not Brittany Spears, no, this is Brittani with an 'i'." Aaron then confirmed Brittani doesn't follow The Pat McAfee Show and that she doesn't have a presence on social media, either. Aaron also admitted that he was very happy with his new girlfriend. Asked about being "in love", the Pittsburgh Steelers star replied: "It's a good feeling, boys. It is." Aaron shared news of his marriage shortly after Danica Patrick, his ex-girlfriend, accused him of being "emotionally abusive" during their time together. The 43-year-old former racing driver dated Aaron between January 2018 and July 2020, and Danica recently opened up about the circumstances surrounding their break-up, admitting that it was her most painful life experience. Asked to share the "most amount of pain" she's ever experienced, Danica said on The Sage Steele Show: "The break-up with Aaron in 2020. Because it was sudden, it felt like. "It was my life. So like when you live with somebody, it's your whole life. And because the nature of the relationship was emotionally abusive, so that wore me down to nothing." Danica recalled being "torn to bits" by the break-up. She shared: "People could never imagine that I would lack … any confidence or belief in the simple things about who I am. "Everything was torn to bits. Yeah, he leaves a trail of blood. I don't think I'm saying too much earth-shattering stuff, after we? There's been enough out there."

Disney+ launches new £1.99 deal, but it won't be around forever
Sign up to Disney+ For a limited time Disney+ is offering subscribers the chance to sign up to the streaming platform for just £1.99 per month. The deal will give users access to some of the biggest shows of the moment, and the deal is being launched just in time for the releases of The Bear, Alien: Earth, and the streaming debut of Snow White. And that doesn't even take into consideration the huge back catalogue of the company which boasts recent hits like Andor, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and Good American Family. Here is everything you need to know to nab yourself the limited time deal. Disney+'s new deal is valid from 11 June until 30 June, and the good news is that both new and returning customers are eligible for this lower-priced subscription. The deal is only for Disney+ Standard with Ads and it will cost £1.99 per month for four months before auto-renewing to the then-current monthly price until the subscription is cancelled. This deal will save users £12 compared to Disney+'s regular monthly price for those four months. At the moment the subscription deal costs £4.99 per month. So what does the Disney+ Standard with Ads give you? Well it of course includes Ad-supported streaming with adverts catered to the platform's audience. Users on this tier will also be able to enjoy ip to 1080p Full HD video quality as well as 5.1 audio, and they will be able to stream on two devices at any time. One of the things that subscribers on the Disney+ Standard with Ads tier won't get is the ability to download shows and movies to watch on the go. But, if you're not too bothered by that, then the tier might be just right for you. Unlike the other subscription tiers on Disney+ there is no yearly plan for Disney+ Standard with Ads, so users will have to pay monthly to access the streamer. There are currently two other subscription tiers: Disney+ Standard and Disney+ Premium, while those wishing to give access to a person outside their household can also choose to sign up for the Extra Member subscription at an extra £3.99 (for Standard with Ads) or £4.99 (for Standard and Premium). What's to come on Disney+ from 11 June then? Quite a lot actually, as mentioned the next big releases on the platform include series 4 of the critically-acclaimed drama The Bear from 26 June, while Marvel fans can dive into the newest series, Ironheart, from 25 June. The limited time deal comes just in time for the streaming debut of Snow White on 11 June, while the hotly-anticipated FX series Alien: Earth lands on the platform on 13 August. As well as new shows and movies Disney+ is also home to award-winning films from Searchlight Pictures like A Real Pain and Poor Things, as well as fascinating documentaries through National Geographic. The Marvel and Star Wars franchises are also available to stream in full on the platform, as well as FX and Hulu series through the platform's Star Originals category. So there really is plenty to enjoy on Disney+.
