‘Beyond worried': Couple missing in Tassie
A family is 'beyond worried' after a 25-year-old woman and her partner travelling in Tasmania failed to board their flight home, and her phone exposed a chilling clue.
Leannedra Kang and her boyfriend Takahiro were travelling around Tasmania in a rental car.

Ms Kang and her partner were travelling in a white Toyota Corolla with the registration L67GW.
Police said their last known location was in the St Helens/Scamander region recently, two towns on the Tasmanian northeast coast.
Ms Kang's sister posted to Facebook that her phone's last location was Goshen, a rural locality in northeast Tasmania, which she said is 'out of the way for her itinerary'. Their last known location was the Scamander/St Helens region. Credit: Supplied
'Please let me know if anyone has been in contact with her or seen her,' her sister Alexandra wrote in a Facebook post.
'My family is beyond worried.'
If anyone has seen the pair or the vehicle, or knows where they are, they are asked to contact police on 131 444 and quote ESCAD 420-05062025.

Pheobe Bishop: Donations flood in after fundraising page set up in memory of the Bundaberg teen
A fundraiser has been set up in memory of Pheobe Bishop, after police confirmed they discovered human remains in their search for the missing 17-year-old. A message shared on the official GoFundMe page says that in honour of Pheobe's memory, the proceeds will be donated to support services such as the SES, who 'volunteer their time without reimbursement and have played an integral part of finding missing loved ones in our community.' Funds will also be donated to the Y School in Bundaberg, where Pheobe attended. 'On May 15, 2025, our world was shattered when Pheobe Bishop, a bright, kind-hearted, and deeply loved young woman, was taken from us far too soon. Her life was tragically cut short, and those responsible are now in custody,' a message on the page reads. 'Pheobe had a gentle soul and a generous spirit — always caring for others and standing up for what was right. We want her legacy to live on by paying it forward to the amazing volunteers and community. 'All funds raised will be donated to these carefully chosen community groups that work to support our Wide Bay community. 'This is more than a fundraiser — this is a tribute to a beautiful life, and a call to action to protect the most vulnerable in our communities.' Pheobe's mother, Kylie Johnson, shared the fundraising page on her Facebook on Saturday, supporting the decision to give back to the community 'in honour of Phee.' At the time of reporting, almost 100 donations have been made, raising nearly $5000. The goal is to raise $17,000. On Saturday, police confirmed human remains were found in the Good Night National Park near Gin Gin and a crime scene was established. Wide Bay Burnett Detective Inspector Craig Mansfield said additional testing and examination had to take place to formally identify the remains as Pheobe's. 'We always wanted to bring Pheobe home, and we believe that this is the first step in that process,' Det-Insp Mansfield said. 'We do hope that this development, coupled with the bring some level of closure to Pheobe's family so they can begin to move forward with their grieving process.' On Thursday, Queensland Police charged James Wood, 34, and Tamika Bromley, 33, with one count each of murder and two counts each of interfering with a corpse. At 2.30pm on Friday, officers discovered what they believe is Pheobe's body. A vigil will be held for the 17-year-old on Sunday afternoon at Kolan Community Park in Gin Gin.

Jared Leto facing allegations of inappropriate behaviour from nine women
Jared Leto is facing allegations from nine women of inappropriate behaviour, including with a teenage girl. The frontman of 30 Seconds to Mars and star of films including House of Gucci and Suicide Squad, 53, is alleged to have inflicted the behaviour on them over the course of nearly two decades, and the accusations involve women who say they were teenagers at the time of the alleged incidents. According to an exposé published by Air Mail, the claims, which have apparently circulated in Hollywood for years, have now been brought into the open, with one woman stating to the outlet: 'It's been an open secret for a long time.' The accusations came to light after Los Angeles-based DJ Allie Teilz, 30, re-shared a 2012 Facebook post on her Instagram Stories, in which she alleged Jared assaulted her when she was 17. She claimed: 'You're not really in L.A. until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage… in a kilt… And a snow hat. 'I was assaulted and traumatised by this creep when I was 17,' She further alleged Jared 'knew' her age but 'didn't care', describing his actions as 'predatory, terrifying and unacceptable'. More females made leads accusations against Jared to Air Mail, while sources also described parties at his Los Angeles home with a ratio of 60 'very young women to four or five men', where guests were allegedly encouraged to skinny dip. Jared's publicist said the actor 'has not had a drink or used drugs in over 35 years'.
