In exclusive comments to 'Sharjah 24,' Al Ketbi explained that the outdoor activities will unfold in the atrium of City Centre Al Zahia from May 15 to 18. Visitors can engage with interactive platforms that allow them to touch heritage pieces, savor the scents of sidr and jasmine leaves, and listen to audio recordings that highlight the history of Sharjah's renowned museum collections. Additionally, there will be art workshops designed specifically for children.
She further noted that the festivities will extend to the museum courtyards from May 15 to 22, incorporating various workshops. The Authority is committed to making all its museums accessible to the public free of charge on May 18, emphasizing the vital role museums play in fostering knowledge and inspiring future generations.
Al Ketbi also announced a specialized tour titled "A Tour of Living Heritage," which will take place at the Sharjah Heritage Museum on Friday, May 16. This tour will be led by Emirati researcher Moza bin Hudaybah, also known as "Umm Azzan," who will share fascinating stories about traditional practices and crafts.

3 June 2025 13:55 ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat has honoured Emirati reciters who completed a recording of the Holy Qur'an as part of the Emirati Reciters Quranic Programme, launched in cooperation with Holy Quran Radio to support UAE National reciters and prepare them for local and international initiative aims to graduate proficient reciters of the Holy Qur'an with distinguished voices and seeks to promote and empower Emirati voices within the community. The programme also focuses on developing and showcasing their skills both locally and internationally. A second phase of the initiative will launch in the second quarter of 2025 and this phase will involve the complete recording of a Qur'an recitation by each talented Emirati reciter.
