Daily Show host makes stunning threat to 'goofy motherf****r' Elon Musk
Comedian Leslie Jones appeared as the guest host of The Daily Show on Wednesday, issuing vulgar threats towards Elon Musk and the Trump administration.
The former Saturday Night Live star attacked Donald Trump 's cabinet and even threatened to punch Musk.
'I've got a problem with these Trump folks,' she said. 'My problem is these people are goofy-ass motherf****rs. I cannot believe America is going to be ended by these f*****g loser incels.'
Jones mocked the DOGE head by playing a clip of him from a meeting where he wore two MAGA hats and joked that he 'wears a lot of hats.'
'We got Elon Musk, who is doing this dumb s**t. Cut that goody s**t out. This is a cabinet meeting. Have some damn respect. This is official s**t,' Jones said.
'How is this guy firing people? If this guy gave me a pink slip, I'd give his a** a black eye. Why don't you fire one of them hats, b****?'
She went on the further insult Musk by playing a clip from an interview he did with Fox News host Jesse Watters.
Watters asked Musk which is harder, 'taking on Washington' or going to Mars.' The SpaceX founder replied, 'Going to Mars.'
Jones said of the clip, 'And by the way, how are you going to be Mr. Jokes when you don't even know when you're hearing a joke. He was kidding, you goofy motherf****r. What is wrong with you?'
The comic then attacked Musk over the number of children he has asking, 'And how you got so many kids?'
'Because I wouldn't f**k you with my enemy's p***y. And I hate that b***h. I would rather f**k a turkey baster. Hell, I'd rather f**k a turkey.'
When Jones guest hosted the show in 2023, she mocked Boston's Martin Luther King Jr. Statue saying that it resembled oral sex.
'They are celebrating you in Boston right now,' Jones exclaimed, referencing people who have participated in the activity.
Jones then pivoted to the backlash against the statue, which has included the likes of everyone from right wing pundits to Coretta Scott King's cousin, saying she was speaking only to black audience members as King was 'our civil rights icon.'
'Okay, black people, what the f**k we gonna do? We gotta talk about this, cause you know it's messed up when black people and the Proud Boys hate the same statue,' she said.
She then became more contemplative, suggesting the statue might age well, acknowledging that people didn't like the Eiffel Tower when it was unveiled.
'Maybe it's just a matter of time, in time we will see this statue for what it truly is,' she joked.
She then returned to it with correspondent Dulcé Sloan, who said that designers never get Martin Luther King's statue correct, specifically referring to the one in Washington DC, before turning to address 'white people.'
'The man literally marched for freedom and his statue don't have no legs! Say what you will about them goofy a** conservatives, but they know how to make a statue. It's a white dude on a horse, it's always a white dude on a horse, there's no confusion.'
'That's what the liberals need to do, make a statue of MLK in his suit on a horse.'

California is losing the court of public opinion
In the on-going Battle of Los Angeles, California governor Gavin Newsom may have the law on his side – but his adversary president Donald Trump has the most powerful imagery. The conflict began in Los Angeles on Friday, when mobs of protestors attacked agents of the US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), who were trying to serve warrants on specific illegal immigrants at a Home Depot and also at a clothing store. On Saturday, during a protest in front of a nearby Department of Homeland Security (DHS) office, members of the crowd lit fires and threw rocks at federal officers, who defended themselves with tear gas and non-lethal ammunition. Later that day, president Trump authorised the deployment of 2000 members of the National Guard to protect the federal ICE agents; since then 700 American Marines have been added to the federal force. Governor Newsom and other leaders of the Democratic-dominated California have claimed that Trump's actions were not needed because local and state authorities had the situation under control. And yet on Sunday, following three days of violence and arrests, the Los Angeles Police Department declared downtown Los Angeles an 'unlawful assembly' area. And on Monday the state of California sued the Trump administration, claiming that Trump 'illegally acted to federalise the National Guard,' in the words of Newsom. Typically a governor requests a president to federalise and mobilise the National Guard to deal with riots or natural disasters. For example, consider the Los Angeles riots of 1992. It was sparked by the acquittal of four white police officers who beat a black motorist named Rodney King and it led to more than fifty deaths and a billion dollars of damage; in response a Republican California governor Pete Wilson asked a Republican president George HW Bush to federalise the National Guard. Not since 1965, when president Lyndon B. Johnson sent the National Guard to Alabama to protect civil rights demonstrators, has a president sent troops without a governor's request. While California officials might be able to make a legal case against the Trump administration, the state and the Democratic party risk losing in the court of public opinion. Viral photographs show masked rioters waving Mexican flags in front of burning cars and debris, supporting the Trump White House's inflammatory claims about an immigrant invasion. In a shrewd public relations move, the federal Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released mug shots under the heading: 'ICE Captures Worst of the Worst Illegal Alien Criminals in Los Angeles Including Murderers, Sex Offenders, and Other Violent Criminals.' The rogues' gallery contains illegal immigrants from a number of countries including Vietnam, the Philippines, and Mexico, charged with offenses including attempted rape, assault with a deadly weapon, grand theft larceny, distribution of heroin and cocaine, wilful cruelty to a child and other serious crimes. Democrats recently succeeded in reversing the allegedly unlawful deportation to El Salvador of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador who was granted the right to remain in the US by a federal immigration judge. But on his return he was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of being an MS-13 gang member who has smuggled thousands of illegal immigrants, drugs, and firearms in the US. Democratic strategists might ask whether someone like Abrego Garcia should be the face of the Democratic party. At least, unlike some of the rioters cavorting in front of burning wreckage in LA, he does not wear a mask.

Loyal ITV2 viewers threatened to call Ofcom over a brutal show twist which saw the American's arrival as the latest instalment kicked off. 7 7 7 Love Island anchor Maya Jama, 30, delivered a huge bombshell when she entered the villa for a second time in episode one. Her bombshell was that a bombshell was arriving. Glam girl Toni, 24 - who is the first ever late show arrival from the United States - then arrived. The couples were left stunned as Las Vegas pool cabana server Toni said: "Good Evening UK! Surprise!" They quickly worked out she is American and on being the first American bombshell Toni says: "Lucky girl, aren't I?" Maya then explained that Toni was to immediately steal a boy. Toni then opted for Ben, 23, meaning Shakira was left single and vulnerable. Yet viewers aren't convinced it's a winning match. One took to X to write: "Ben doesn't fancy that girl btw." Another mused: "Ben doesn't even look like he wants to be there. This season is about to be a mess." A third then added: "Ben did not want to be picked." It remains to be seen what the taxi driver's next move is - and if he will take the time to get to know Toni, who recently revealed her crippling health battle. NEXT STEPS During Monday's episode, Maya then revealed that Burnley lass Shakira is now single. Maya clarified the brunette beauty wouldn't be dumped from the villa immediately, but instead had 24 hours to graft and steal a boy from someone else. She isn't allowed to take Ben back from Antonia, and if she doesn't get chosen, she'll be packing her bags. But if she does get selected in the next re-coupling round, another girl will be going home. Leaving the group with that cliffhanger, Maya then suggested that the girls keep their "boys very close". The show's six couples with Shakira single are now Toni and Ben, Meg and Dejon, Sophie and Harry, Helena and Conor, Alima and Blu, and Megan and Tommy. Yet it might not look good for Shakira, who entered the villa first alongside Meg Moore, 25. She promptly offended swathes of viewers as she made a stark comment about 9-5 jobs.
