The Backstreet Boys chat with USA TODAY's Ralphie Aversa about relocating to Las Vegas for the band's residency at the Sphere.
LAS VEGAS – The bill arrives in a DVD sleeve, a callback to the roots of the pioneering streaming service.
The menu offers items christened "Orange is the New Mac" and "The Hellfire Club" sandwich.
And the anxiety-producing 'Squid Game' sneaks in with its own wheel of fun (or doom?) with Red Bite, Green Bite dipping sauces.
This marriage of entertainment and eating is Netflix Bites, a vibrant, red-hued restaurant tucked just off the casino floor at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The themed dining experience opened in mid-February and is committed to a 'long-term residency' at the casino hotel for at least a year.

Netflix has already established dominance in the streaming industry with more than 300 million subscribers worldwide, and this foray into the culinary world is devoutly tailored to the Instagram and influencer set.
Recognizable references to Netflix shows and characters decorate the room, from a pink neon 'I'd Bone Appetit Him' ('Emily in Paris') sign stationed above a booth to the Regency Tea ('Bridgerton') menu offering of finger sandwiches and scones ($65).
Diners whip out their cameras repeatedly, from the time they enter through a pair of cavernous red lips reminiscent of the Rolling Stones logo, to document the surroundings, often the 'Squid Game' spinning wheel with a Young-hee doll centerpiece that determines whether you'll receive green or red hot sauce for your accompanying chicken tenders ($26).
While the fictional severed hand Thing isn't usually on premise, a mound of dark chips sizable enough for the cast of 'Wednesday' anchors the Nachos Nevermore ($18) and a skillet oozing a brownie cookie and topped with a baseball-sized scoop of vanilla ice cream (the Schooled by Brookie connected to 'School of Chocolate,' $14) stands out among meal cappers that also include The Dessert is Lava ('Floor is Lava,' $30) and Trunchbull's Chocolate Cake ('Matilda the Musical,' $14).
The Vegas location of Netflix Bites, near the MGM Grand lobby entrance, is patterned after the pop-up restaurant that captivated Los Angeles for six weeks of sold-out reservations in 2023.
The menu is scattershot for the sake of linking a name with a nosh, offering everything from an O'Ahu, HI: Poke Taco ($25) to the "Sex Education" Hoagie ($18, and yes, it is an Italian sausage) to libations including the gin-based The Pink Soldier ($18) in another nod to 'Squid Game.' But it's also adeptly designed to spur conversation and attract Vegas visitors, whether or not they know their Lucky Boy Burger from their Selling Caesar Salad.
Along with the visual allure of the varied selections, the food is solid, far surpassing the middling expectations that usually accompany theme restaurants in tourist-heavy cities.
Netflix Bites is open daily for breakfast and lunch from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 5 p.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday. Reservations are available at netflixbites.com.
The restaurant concept isn't the only non-programming exploration from Netflix. In recent years, 'The Queen's Ball: A Bridgerton Experience' and 'Stranger Things: The Experience' have been assembled throughout the country, while 'Squid Game: The Experience' is currently open in New York, Madrid and Sydney.
Later this year, the 'experiential entertainment venue' Netflix House is expected to open in Dallas and Philadelphia.

'Good Morning America' bids goodbye to Times Square studio. Where's the show going?

'Good Morning America' bids goodbye to Times Square studio. Where's the show going? Show Caption Hide Caption 'NBC Nightly News' anchor Tom Llamas explains why he left ABC News Tom Llamas, the new anchor of "NBC Nightly News," explains to USA TODAY's Ralphie Aversa how he became interested in the news. "Good Morning America" is bidding goodbye to its iconic location at Times Square in New York City. The popular morning show, which first began broadcasting from its long-time studio on Sept. 13, 1999 with tennis legend Serena Williams as the first guest, kicked off its final week at the Times Square studio during the June 9 broadcast. Co-anchors Robin Roberts, Ginger Zee, Lara Spencer, George Stephanopoulos and Michael Strahan took a trip down the memory lane as they recalled the years spent at the studio. "I just remember thinking, 'I'm a little girl from Mississippi and I'm working in Times Square.' It's just so majestic," Roberts said. "I mean truly, I pulled up and the stop light on 44th, I just remember looking up and thinking, 'This cannot be my life,'" ABC News chief meteorologist Zee said. As the show begins broadcasting from a new studio next week, here's what we know. Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle. Where is Good Morning America moving to? "Good Morning America" will "embark on a new adventure downtown," the show's website said. The talk show is moving to the Walt Disney Company's new NYC headquarters, named the Robert A. Iger building, located at 7 Hudson Square in downtown Manhattan. This new complex, described as "a collaborative town square," will be "home to news, editorial, live productions, streaming, technology, advertising, corporate, business support functions, and more," Walt Disney said in a December 2024 news release. "The state-of-the-art building encompasses an entire city block and will be a collaborative hub for the company's media, production, and innovation," the news release added. Disney's new campus features three large studios, according to the news release. "Live with Kelly and Mark" and "The View" have already begun broadcasting from the new location. Why is 'Good Morning America' moving? While the show and ABC did not specify why the show was moving, an ABC spokesperson in October 2023 told Deadline the move was part of a larger, "strategic" relocation for all ABC News teams. "'Good Morning America' is defined by the strength of our team in front of and behind the camera, quality of our reporting, and the long, trusted relationship with our viewers," the spokesperson told the media outlet. "Moving all ABC News teams to our new state-of-the-art building was a strategic decision that will allow for more collaboration and innovation." ABC did not immediately respond to USA TODAY's request for a comment. When will 'GMA' broadcast from new studio? Strahan revealed 'GMA' will begin broadcasting from the new space during the week of June 16. "It never gets old to say 'Good Morning America,'" Roberts said. Spencer added: "This is our home. We are here all the time … I'm gonna miss it so much." Saman Shafiq is a trending news reporter for USA TODAY. Reach her at sshafiq@ and follow her on X and Instagram @saman_shafiq7.

Blockbuster Actress Admits She Went Up 4 Pant Sizes in 'Crazy Strong' Transformation

Blockbuster Actress Admits She Went Up 4 Pant Sizes in 'Crazy Strong' Transformation originally appeared on Parade. Sydney Sweeney is revealing just how far she went to embody legendary boxer Christy Martin in the upcoming biopic directed by David Michôd. In a new interview with W Magazine, the Euphoria star, 27, opened up about her intense physical transformation for the role that included significant muscle gain and a major shift in body size. Sweeney, who typically wears a size 23 in jeans — roughly a U.S. size 00 or 000, with a 23-inch waist and 33–34-inch hips — didn't hold back when discussing the toll and triumph of the process. "I'm usually a size 23 in jeans," the actress shared, reflecting on her transformation. To prepare for the role, she committed to an extreme training regimen. 'I came onboard to play Christy, and I had about three-and-a-half months of training,' she explained. 'I started eating. I weight-trained in the morning for an hour, kickboxed midday for about two hours, and then weight-trained again at night for an hour.' 'My body was completely different,' she continued. 'I didn't fit in any of my clothes. I'm usually a size 23 in jeans, and I was wearing a size 27. My boobs got bigger. And my butt got huge. It was crazy! I was like, Oh my god. But it was amazing: I was so strong, like crazy strong.' Sweeney is portraying Martin, a trailblazing figure in women's boxing known as 'The Coal Miner's Daughter.' Martin rose to fame after her electrifying 1996 bout with Deirdre Gogarty at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas — a moment credited with putting women's boxing on the map. Behind the scenes, however, Martin endured two decades of domestic abuse at the hands of her ex-husband, trainer Jim Martin, before surviving a brutal attack in 2010. She later came out as a lesbian. While speaking to TMZ about the project, Martin expressed excitement over Sweeney taking on her story. 'I want this movie to bring awareness to domestic violence, the challenge of sexuality and overall underdog story,' Martin said. 'I am a coal miner's daughter from a small town in southern West Virginia that made an impact in a sport that wasn't taken seriously — women's boxing.' The biopic does not yet have a release date. Kate Hudson is celebrating fiancé's Danny Fujikawa last year in his 30s The Running Point actress shared an intimate photo of the couple via Instagram Tuesday, June 10 "May this last year of your thirties be a perfect jumping board for the best decade to come," she wroteKate Hudson is expressing her gratitude for fiancé Danny Fujikawa on his special day. On Tuesday, June 10, Hudson posted an intimate birthday tribute in honor of Fujikawa's 39th birthday. The Running Point actress, 46, shared an Instagram photo of her hugging Fujikawa from the back. In the photo, Fujikawa wears a brown blazer and white shirt, while placing his brown hat on his chest. Hudson looks toward the camera wearing a black, off-the-shoulder top. 'I really dig this human ✨ My Gemini Hurricane, may this last year of your thirties be a perfect jumping board for the best decade to come! Love you so ❤️Happy Birthday Dan Man❤️,' she captioned the intimate moment. In addition to Hudson, Fujikawa – the singer and guitarist for Los Angeles-based band Chief – also received love in the comment section from her fans. 'Happy Birthday Danny!!! We love you! 🎉❤️❤️❤️,' one person wrote. Another added, 'Ahhh happy birthday, Danny! Big love to you two!' A third wrote, 'Happy Birthday to one amazing father!🎈🎈🎈.' Hudson and Fujikawa met over a decade ago. The Fool's Gold star was 23 and expecting her first child, Ryder Russell Robinson, at the time. They were introduced through Hudson's best friends, who also happen to be Fujikawa's stepsisters. In a December 2017 Instagram post, Hudson shared the story of how she and her husband-to-be first met. "A year ago today Danny took me on a hike and what I thought was just a hike with a family friend turned very quickly into an unexpected first date,' she revealed. 'No moves were made on this first date. In fact, it took months for him to make a first move! And as a kiss on this bridge would have been nice, the kiss a year later was so much sweeter." In addition to Ryder, 21, who Hudson shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson, she is also a mom to son Bingham, 13, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy. She also shares a daughter, Rani, 6, with Fujikawa. Hudson hinted at expanding her family during a 2020 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, saying she wanted to give Rani a younger sibling. "I don't know if I'm done," she said of her blended family. "I'm in that place of like, right now, Rani is at that age where you're like, 'I want another baby.' But once she gets like 4 or 5, you're like, 'I feel like my life is kinda back a little bit [and] they're kinda in a groove.' It's weird … it's like a window." She spoke on the topic again during a December 2022 conversation with Byrdie. "I've been having children my entire adult life," she explained. "I've got my 4-year-old and I've got a kid in college. And I don't even know if I'm done yet. You know, I don't have that answer yet." Read the original article on People
