Walton County alerts residents of lane closures for roadwork
WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – A traffic advisory has been issued for the residents of Walton County for the week of June 8 as crews perform maintenance and construction.
Residents should expect lane closures along U.S. 90 from West Sloss Avenue to U.S. 331 for paving operations.
Certain lanes will remain open during the operation, however, drivers are reminded to use caution at all times when travelling through work zones.
Bay County Safety Action Plan analyzes dangerous roadways and potential solutions
The U.S. 331 northbound outside right-turn lane will be closed at the U.S. 90 intersection, and the U.S. 90 westbound outside travel lane is closed between 11th Street and U.S. 331.
One U.S. 90 westbound travel lane and one left turn lane to access U.S. 331 will remain open during the construction.
U.S. 90 eastbound, between West Sloss Avenue and U.S. 331, will be shifted toward the south.
Activities are weather-dependent and are subject to change in the event of inclement weather.

Part of Mount Pleasant roadway reopens after shut down due to collision
