SAM Stone made his Warrington Wolves debut on Saturday – and the two players who went on loan to Salford Red Devils as part of the deal to bring him in did similar the following day.
Forwards Dan Russell and Tom Whitehead have joined Paul Rowley's side – the former for the remainder of the season, the latter for a month – and were both a part of the side beaten 38-6 by Hull FC on Sunday.

Papua New Guinea international Russell started in the back row and carried the ball 10 times for 35 metres while in defence, he completed 19 tackles with five misses.
Whitehead came off the bench to complete 20 tackles with four misses, while he also made 20 metres from four carries of the ball.
Another Warrington player currently out on loan in Super League is Dan Okoro, with the prop in the midst of a season-long spell at Castleford Tigers.
He was the Tigers' 18th man during their defeat to Hull KR on Thursday night and in total, he has played eight times for Danny McGuire's side with the last of those appearances coming against his parent club at the end of last month.

One player making a success of his time out on loan is outside-back Alfie Johnson, who joined Championship side Halifax Panthers on a season-long deal last month.
Since then, he has made a fine start to life with Kyle Eastmond's side, scoring three tries in as many appearances.
Johnson made a try-scoring debut on the wing for the Panthers during a defeat to Oldham but having moved into the centres for their trip to Widnes Vikings last week, he shone by touching down twice in a 24-24 draw.
He started at centre again this weekend but was withdrawn through injury during the second half as Halifax lost 32-16 at Featherstone Rovers.
Johnson has been joined at The Shay of late by back-rower Nolan Tupaea, who has come off the bench in the Widnes and Featherstone games having joined the club on a season's loan.

Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds pays emotional tribute to departing Paul Mullin
Ryan Reynolds says he cannot picture Paul Mullin playing in anything other than a Wrexham strip after the striker joined Wigan on loan. Mullin has been a talismanic figure for Wrexham since Hollywood A-lister Reynolds and fellow actor Rob McElhenney bought the Welsh club in 2021. Advertisement The 30-year-old has scored 110 goals in 172 games since arriving from Cambridge nearly four years ago as Wrexham won three successive promotions to reach the Championship. Mullin has been a central figure in the award-winning 'Welcome to Wrexham' TV docuseries and even had a non-speaking cameo role in Reynolds' Deadpool & Wolverine as Welshpool, a Welsh version of Deadpool. 'I can't imagine seeing Mulls on loan and in another kit,' Reynolds posted on X. 'We wouldn't be where we are without his heart, skill and work ethic. We love you, @PMullin7. SPM (Super Paul Mullin).' Advertisement Mullin wished Wrexham good luck on his departure for the 2025-26 campaign, posting on X: 'All the best this season! Keep the train rolling', adding a heart emoji. The forward's game-time at Wrexham was limited last season following surgery on a long-standing back issue. He has two years left on his Racecourse contract, but was pushed down the pecking order by the January arrivals of strikers Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez. The Red Dragons further added to their forward department last week by signing Ryan Hardie from Plymouth in a reported £700,000 deal. Wrexham captain James McClean wrote about Mullin's move to League One Wigan on Instagram, saying: 'All the best mate @paulmullin12. Rip it up.'

Stunning Tommy Fleetwood stat makes Travelers loss even worse
The post Stunning Tommy Fleetwood stat makes Travelers loss even worse appeared first on ClutchPoints. Tommy Fleetwood stepped onto the 18th tee at the Travelers Championship with a one-shot lead over Keegan Bradley. With no wins in his 158 PGA Tour starts entering the week, it looked like the Englishman was going to get the monkey off his back. But a phenomenal shot from Bradley and a brutal three-putt from Fleetwood changed everything. After his Travelers loss, Fleetwood made some brutal history. Advertisement 'Tommy Fleetwood: 42nd top-10 finish on PGA Tour; most by any player without a win last 40 years,' Justin Ray of the TwentyFirst Group posted on social media. Fleetwood changed his club before hitting his approach on the 18th hole. That classic sign of overthinking was all Bradley needed to see to pounce on his competitor. The Ryder Cup captain stuck his approach to less than six feet and put all of the pressure on Fleetwood. His first putt was just outside of Bradley's approach, giving his competitor a perfect read. When Fleetwood missed the second putt, Bradley kicked the door down. From a three-shot lead to losing in regulation, it was over for Fleetwood. In his long PGA Tour career, Fleetwood has lost in playoffs, blown leads early in rounds, and now suffered from a brutal 72nd hole collapse. When speaking with the media afterward, he explained his feelings after the loss. 'I'm upset now, I'm angry,' Fleetwood said, per the PGA Tour's social media page. 'When it calms down, look at the things I did well and look at the things I can learn from…[I] felt like I did a lot of good things, but there are things I can definitely do better and have to do better.' Advertisement Just last week, Fleetwood missed the cut at the US Open. While this is a marked improvement from that tough result, he does not get that elusive win on American soil. Bradley, meanwhile, picks up his second Travelers win in three years.
