When Shah Rukh Khan said ‘sab shaadi kare, main kya karunga' on being asked about Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra's marriage
Shah Rukh Khan and his sense of humor are a great combination. When the two meet then there are only and only fireworks. The actor has often grabbed eyeballs with his witty replies at press conferences, and one such episode happened during Zero's promotional event when a reporter asked Anushka Sharma and him about Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra Jonas getting married. What followed was a hilarious reply from the King actor, and we bet you cannot miss it.
During a promotional event of the film Zero, which also starred Katrina Kaif along with Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan, a reporter went on to ask the PK actress about starting the wedding trend in Bollywood and give wishes to her contemporaries Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jona,s who were getting married too. To this, SRK replied, 'ye trend na mere baap maa ne shuru kiya tha'.
This left everyone, including Anushk, laughing. SRK then continued, 'Isne thodi na shuru kiya tha? Anushka ne shaadi ki to sab shaadi karenge, aise thodi na hota hai. Shaadi to kabse ho rahi hai.'
The reporter further pushed, Ranveer-Deepika and Priyanka-Nick are getting married, Shah Rukh Khan immediately interrupted and said, 'sab kare mashallah, bahut acha hai. Main kya karu? Begani shaadi me abdullah deewaana, main kya karunga. Wo karenge shaadi, wo karenge maze, wo karenge bachche, main kya karunga? Maine jo karna tha kar chuka hu. Baar baar shaadi karta rahu?'
For the unversed, Anushka Sharma had gotten married to Virat Kohli a year before the release of Zero. And this question came because Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra Jonas -Nick Jonas were about to get married.
Talking about Shah Rukh Khan's work front, he is all set to shoot for King, which will also star his daughter, Suhana Khan, and Deepika Padukone. The film will be directed by Siddharth Anand, and it will be their second collaboration after Pathaan. Recently, Pinkvilla had exclusively revealed that Rani Mukerji will also be a part of the film and will be making a cameo.

Aamir Khan on photo with Turkey President Erdogan, receiving hate post Operation Sindoor: ‘I met him when Indian govt was helping…'
India's trade relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan recently came under strain due to Ankara and Baku backing Islamabad and condemning India's recent strikes on terror camps in Pakistan. Following their support to Pakistan, calls for ban on Turkish goods and tourism have surfaced across the country. Amid this, photos of Aamir Khan with Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdogan has resurfaced on social media, with trolls targeting the actor for his meeting with the state head of the country which supported Pakistan in its recent attack on India. Now, Aamir has issued a clarification regarding the controversial pictures. 'Turkey did a very wrong thing, and every Indian has been hurt by that,' Aamir said in an interview with India TV, adding, 'A few years ago, there was an earthquake in Turkey. The Indian government was the first to help them then. At that time, even our government didn't know, just like I didn't when I went to meet Erdogan, that they'd do this to us seven years later. We extended our hand in friendship and helped them during a crisis, and this is what they do to us?' Aamir clarified that his photo with Recep is from his visit to Turkey in 2017. 'Our government was also supporting Turkey at that time,' argued Aamir. He claimed that a photo with Turkey's first lady Emine Erdogan, which is believed to be from his visit to the country in 2020 during the filming of his 2022 film Laal Singh Chaddha, in fact dates even prior to 2017. 'As a celebrity and actor, I'm an ambassador of the country when I visit another nation. So if someone invites me for a tea, saying no doesn't feel right,' explained Aamir. He supported Indians' decision to boycott Turkey and cancel their travel plans to the country. He added, 'They did a very right thing. We shouldn't support Turkey at all. They're supporting Pakistan during our conflict despite us having helped them. How is that fair?' India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 to destroy nine terror infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir in retaliation for the Kashmir's Pahalgam terror attack on April 22. All subsequent retaliations for Pakistani offensives were carried out under Operation Sindoor. Online travel platforms such as EaseMyTrip and Ixigo issued advisories against visiting Turkey and Azerbaijan. Indian traders too started boycotting Turkish products such as apples and marble.

Shah Rukh Khan On Why He Might Never Work With Akshay Kumar: 'By The Time...'
Last Updated: Shah Rukh Khan says working with Akshay Kumar may not happen. Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar are both mega stars in Bollywood with massive fan followings. Naturally, fans have long hoped to see the two together on the big screen. But Shah Rukh Khan has offered a funny and honest reason why that might never happen. In an old interview with DNA, the superstar was asked whether he could match Akshay Kumar's pace of doing three to four movies a year and if a collaboration between the two actors could happen. He replied, 'What do I say to this? I don't wake up as early as him." The actor explained how their completely opposite daily routines make it hard to work together. 'I go to sleep when Akshay is waking up. His day starts early. By the time I start working, he is packing up and going home. So he can put in more hours of work. I'm a nocturnal person. Not many people are fond of shooting at night like me." While SRK said working with Akshay would be enjoyable, he pointed out how their timing clashes would not make it happen. 'It will be fun to act with him. But we will never be seen in the same frame. He'll be leaving the set and I'll be coming in. I would like to work with him but our timings don't match." On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is now gearing up for his upcoming action film King, which is directed by Siddharth Anand. The film marks a special moment in his career as it pairs him for the first time with his daughter Suhana Khan on screen. King also boasts a powerful ensemble cast featuring Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, and Abhay Verma. The film is scheduled for release sometime in the last quarter of 2026, and Shah Rukh will be seen in a brand-new avatar—a deadly assassin engaged in a high-stakes face-off with Abhishek Bachchan. Aamir Khan says PK wasn't against religion, addresses claims it promoted love jihad: ‘My sisters and daughter have married Hindus'
Aamir Khan finally addressed allegations against him that have been floating on social media ever since the release of his 2014 blockbuster, Rajkumar Hirani's satire PK. He defended the film against claims that it targets religion. Along with that, he also responded to the allegations that PK endorses love jihad. 'They're wrong. We're not against any religion. We respect all religions and all religious people. That film just tells us to be cautious of those who exploit religion to fool the common man in order to extract money from them. You'll find people like that in every religion. That was the film's only purpose,' said Aamir. In the interview with India TV, Aamir also clarified his take on the scene in which he shows an Indian Hindu woman (Anushka Sharma) trying to marry a Pakistani Muslim man (late Sushant Singh Rajput). He said that when people from two religions, particularly Hindu and Muslim, fall in love and get married, that's not always love jihad. 'This is just humanity. It's above religion,' argued Aamir. He asked if his sisters and daughter marrying Hindu men is love jihad. Aamir's sister and actor Nikhat is married to Santosh Hegde whereas his other sister Farhat's husband is Rajeev Dutta. Meanwhile, Aamir's daughter Ira Khan tied the knot with Nupur Shikhare last year. Aamir himself has married two Hindu women — Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao — in 1988 and 2005 respectively. When asked while he married Indian women, the names of his kids are Ira Khan, Junaid Khan and Azad Rao Khan, Aamir answered, 'My kids have been named by my wives. There wasn't any interference from my end. Husbands ki zyada chalti nahi hai (Husbands don't have too much of a say)'. He revealed his first wife Reena named their kids Junaid and Ira. 'Let me tell you, Ira is another name for (goddess) Saraswati. Have you heard of Irawati? It's just that Reena wanted to pronounce it differently,' explained Aamir, claiming Ira's name was taken from former BJP minister Maneka Gandhi's book The Penguin Book of Hindu Names. Aamir also explained that his second wife and filmmaker Kiran Rao named their son Azad after his legendary ancestor, Maulana Azad, who was a freedom fighter and the first Education Minister of Independent India. 'Azad isn't a Muslim name. Haven't you heard of Chandrashekhar Azad? He was also a freedom fighter. It's a neutral name,' said Aamir. Aamir added that since he gets trolled from both sides of the fence, that only proves he's doing the right thing. 'I'm very proud I'm a Muslim. I'm also proud I'm a Hindustani. Both of these statements are true,' Aamir said. He pointed out that no other Indian actor has been as socially conscious as him. Also Read — Aamir Khan recalls creditors yelling at him when father went 'almost bankrupt': 'They would say your father hasn't paid us back, very difficult period' Case in point: his TV show Satyamev Jayate and his NGO Paani Foundation. Aamir claimed he brought attention to issues in Satyamev Jayate which cut across all religions. 'Have you seen the film Secret Superstar? What's the religion of that family? So there's nothing like that,' said Aamir. His 2017 blockbuster coming-of-age musical Secret Superstar, starring Zaira Wasim, revolved around the issues of domestic violence and curbed ambition in a Muslim family.
