More Israeli Soldiers Dead or Injured in Gaza
The Israeli media outlets reported that, at least, one soldier was killed and others were wounded in the Shujaia neighborhood in the Gaza Strip.
A military helicopter evacuated the casualties from the Strip, according to the Zionist media, which added that Hamas apparently attacked Israeli forces in the Shujaia neighborhood with a suicide drone.
According to a preliminary Zionist investigation, an armed fighter emerged from an alley, approached an area near the force, and opened fire with light weapons from a distance before withdrawing.
Hamas used a drone to drop an explosive device or hand grenade on forces operating in the Jabalia area, Zionist media reported.
Several Israeli strikes on Tuesday evening killed at least nine civilians and injured others in several parts of the war-torn Gaza Strip, according to WAFA news agency.
Meanwhile, an Israeli combat drone targeted a group of civilians on the Abu Arif Street in Deir Al-Balah in the central Strip, claiming the lives of three civilians and injuring others.
In the meantime, Israeli bombing targeted a charging station for cell phones near al-Fadila Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, killing a father and his son.
This came as Israeli bombing also targeted the vicinity of As-Sorani Mountain, east of the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza, at a time when artillery shelled the areas to the east of Jabalia in the northern enclave.
'Israel' unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing hundreds of Palestinians.
The death toll reached at least 4,240 with 12,860 others wounded, according to medical sources. In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 40 slain Palestinians, including a body retrieved from the rubble, and 208 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals, noting that these numbers exclude hospitals in the northern Strip.
The aggression was resumed amidst concerns over the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Strip given the ongoing siege and ban on the entry of medical and humanitarian aid.
Israel has waged a genocidal war on the Strip since October 2023, killing 54,510 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 124,901 others.
Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.
The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt.

An Israeli military evacuation call issued ahead of Thursday's strikes sent huge numbers of residents of the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, long a bastion of Iran-backed Hezbollah, fleeing for their lives. The attack on what the Israeli military said was Hezbollah underground drone factories came on the eve of Eid al-Adha, one of the main religious festivals of the Muslim calendar. The strikes came around an hour after Israel's military spokesman issued an evacuation call, and sent plumes of smoke billowing over Beirut. The attack came six months after a ceasefire agreement was sealed in a bid to end hostilities between Hezbollah and Israel. "There will be no calm in Beirut, and no order or stability in Lebanon, without security for the State of Israel," Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a statement. "Agreements must be honored and if you do not do what is required, we will continue to act, and with great force," he threatened. Under the ceasefire brokered by the United States and France, Lebanon committed to disarming Hezbollah, which was once reputed to be more heavily armed than the state itself. The hostilities started when Hezbollah launched cross-border attacks on northern Israel in what it described as an act of solidarity with Gaza and the group's Palestinian ally Hamas following its October 7, 2023 attack on Israel and the brutal war that followed. Less than two hours earlier, its Arabic-language spokesman Avichay Adraee had warned on social media that residents of the suburbs were 'located near facilities belonging to the terrorist organisation Hezbollah' and should evacuate immediately. In a separate statement, the military had said it would 'soon carry out a strike on underground UAV (drone) production infrastructure sites that were deliberately established in the heart of (the) civilian population' in Beirut.
