Coventry was ranked second most expensive, at 136.9p, which was level with Stourbridge and Brierley Hill.
Overall, Birmingham was rated as the cheapest place to fill up.
Although the city is a larger area, on average the price of petrol per litre was 126.9p.
Sedgley, meanwhile, ranked equal with Wolverhampton, Bilston and Wednesfield.

No transfer bids for Emi Martinez as Aston Villa star speaks out
Aston Villa haven't received any formal contact regarding goalkeeper Emi Martinez, who has dominated the transfer headlines since the end of the season. The 32-year-old's future has come under scrutiny after he was seen in tears at the end of Villa's final home game of the season against Tottenham last month. Advertisement Martinez signed a long-term contract extension in August but has attracted interest from Atletico Madrid, other European clubs, and teams in Saudi Arabia. READ MORE: Nassef Sawiris agreement as expletive fired off in 'stupid' Man Utd transfer rant READ MORE: Manager warns that Aston Villa transfer target 'is not ready for the Premier League' He joined up with the Argentina national team over the weekend and remained coy about his future when asked. 'My future? I don't know,' he told the press. 'I'm here to play for the national team, and that's all I care about right now. Do I want to change clubs? The transfer market has just opened, so there's still a lot to happen.' Advertisement As it stands, no club has submitted a formal offer for Martinez. Meanwhile, Villa are not under a huge amount of pressure to generate significant funds through player sales this summer, thanks to the financial boost from their Champions League campaign. Unai Emery's side earned around £100 million after reaching the quarter-finals, where they were narrowly beaten 5–4 on aggregate by eventual champions Paris Saint-Germain. However, after failing to qualify for next season's Champions League, they won't have such revenue to call on in the 2026 summer window. Mastercard to pay out £200million to millions of customers
Mastercard is set to compensate millions of customers with payouts worth up to £70 each, following a landmark legal battle. The courts have now given the green light to the deal, ensuring that affected customers will receive their due compensation. Walter Merricks, who initiated the claim, stated that he embarked on this case because he was convinced that "Mastercard's fees paid by retailers for processing card transactions had been unlawfully high". He believed that virtually all UK consumers had been unfairly disadvantaged over extended periods, paying inflated prices as retailers passed on these costs, reports Birmingham Live. However, as Mr Merricks explained: "As the evidence came to be known through the litigation process, this was the position only in a relatively small proportion of transactions and the settlement reflects that". He further added: "On any view, recovering £200million by way of a settlement for UK consumers is a huge sum, and that will translate into a meaningful impact in the pockets of UK consumers. "During the long course of the case which involved winning a key Supreme Court decision, I have established important precedents to ensure that other collective actions that have followed mine, will have a greater prospect of succeeding. "And I am pleased to have forged this new path towards a UK regime that allows consumers to get meaningful access to justice, and that will act as a deterrent to companies from acting unlawfully. "I am proud to have achieved a substantial settlement sum, indeed the largest settlement for a group of UK consumers through the English courts."

Have your say on Solihull Council priorities for next five years
Solihull Council has unveiled its priorities as part of a five-year plan with financial stability one of the goals it will be working towards. And residents are now being given the chance to have their say on the council's ambitions. As the Local Democracy Reporting Service reported last month, the authority had begun the process of creating a new strategic council plan. READ MORE : 'No longer have confidence' - three Conservative councillors quit with attack on leadership Get breaking news on BirminghamLive WhatsApp Former leader of the authority, Councillor Ian Courts, had previously said there would be a limit to what the authority could do due to government funding issues and said the plan would 'take action' to address the council's financial situation. Earlier this year the cash-strapped authority had a bid accepted by the government for emergency help to address a multi-million pound hole in its finances. The seven ambitions in the draft plan, which would cover the period until 2030, are: The right conditions for everyone to thrive Services that people need in the right place at the right time Adults are supported to maximise wellbeing and independence Children and young people have the best possible outcomes A vibrant economy with improved access to opportunities Opportunities and fairer outcomes by acting on climate change An attractive and aspirational place The plans also set out the focus of council work will be to: Achieve financial sustainability Deliver the authority's corporate transformation programme Take preventative action and address inequalities Work with partners to get the best for Solihull The new plan, which will reflect feedback residents provide in a survey, will be published in July 2025. Coun Karen Grinsell, who was elected Solihull Council leader earlier this week said: 'The new plan will steer the council as we go forward over the next five years. 'It sets out our vision for Solihull, the direction that we want to go in as a council, how we aim to get there and what we want to achieve. 'Your input is crucial in shaping the plan and ensuring it addresses the priorities that matter most to our communities. 'We want to ensure the new plan reflects the ambitions, challenges and opportunities faced by the council, residents, businesses and other stakeholders over the coming years. 'Tell us if you think our new plan is focusing on the right things - this is your opportunity to have your say so please take a few moments to complete our short survey.' To take part in the survey, which has a closing date of Sunday, June 15, visit Paper copies of the survey are also available at Solihull Council House's reception, The Core Library, Shirley Library and Chelmsley Wood Library.
