Cardiff hotel bookings nearing 90% for Oasis Tour

Cardiff leads hotel bookings for Oasis Live '25 tour with 89% occupancy, as smaller markets see strong concert-driven demand spikes. ARLINGTON, VA. – With less than a month until the Oasis Live '25 tour kicks off, Cardiff shows the highest hotel booking levels at nearly 90%, according to CoStar's latest forward booking data. CoStar is a leading provider of online real estate marketplaces, information, and analytics in the property markets. The European leg of the tour runs from early July through mid-August. As of 2 June, Cardiff was reporting its highest occupancy on the books for concerts on 4 July (89.0%) and 5 July (77.8%) at Principality Stadium. At the same time last year, Cardiff's levels for those nights were at 51.2% and 47.1%, respectively. Manchester's highest occupancy on the books is on 19 July (67.0%), while in Edinburgh and Dublin, booking levels have climbed as high as 73.6% (8 August) and 74.5% (16 August), respectively. 'Oasis will play to sold-out venues all around the world in the coming months, and the hotel industries in most of the host markets will see compression nights,' said Alexander Robinson, STR's regional director. 'In the smaller markets especially, levels are pacing well ahead of the comparable time last year. As we often see around major concert tours like this, those levels will continue to rise through the night of the shows. 'The only exception right now is London, but that's to be expected given the size of the market as well as booking trends for comparable events in the past. Even Taylor Swift's tour last year did not produce massive demand spikes in London compared with other smaller markets.'

Ascend Airways adds 5th aircraft to growing fleet, secures Canadian AOC

Ascend Airways adds fifth Boeing 737-8 MAX, gains Canadian FAOC, and accelerates expansion to meet rising demand for fuel-efficient ACMI services. Ascend Airways, UK-based ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) and charter airline, has taken delivery of its 5th aircraft – Boeing 737-8 MAX. Part of Avia Solutions Group, the world's largest ACMI provider, the airline has also secured its Canadian Foreign Air Operator Certificate (FAOC), marking another significant milestone in its rapid expansion. The aircraft, registered as G-ULIT, received its Certificate of Airworthiness on June 3, 2025 and will be immediately deployed onto a long-term wet lease contract. This addition represents the fourth Boeing 737-8 MAX in Ascend Airways' fleet. 'I want to thank the entire team at Ascend Airways for their hard work and dedication in adding three aircraft over the past two months,' says Alastair Willson, CEO of Ascend Airways. 'Our growing fleet positions us perfectly to meet the growing demand for reliable ACMI services in the UK and other markets with the newest generation of aircraft.' This has been a year of significant growth for the company, which started 2025 with just two aircraft and now operates five. The airline plans to add further Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft over the coming months, with the goal of operating a total of eight aircraft by year-end. The Boeing 737-8 MAX aligns with Ascend Airways' strategy of offering the latest technology and most fuel-efficient aircraft to customers. The MAX 8 reduces CO2 emissions by 20% and has a 40% lower noise footprint compared to previous-generation aircraft, enabling customers to reduce their environmental impact when adding capacity. In addition to fleet expansion, Ascend Airways has received its Canadian FAOC, which allows the airline to commence ACMI operations in Canada. The approval comes in time for the peak season of travel in Canada during the IATA Winter season of which Ascend Airways currently has availability on B737-8 MAX aircraft. Ascend Airways is also in the final stages of gaining it's FAA 129 approvals which will allow the Airline to operate ACMI and Charter flights to the US and also in the process of gaining it's IOSA approvals.

AGENTS launches advanced TDAC submission platform for travel professionals

While the platform is optimized for group submissions, regular travelers are also welcome to use the AGENTS TDAC system. AGENTS CO., LTD. has launched a dedicated platform for submitting Thailand Digital Arrival Cards (TDAC), built specifically to support travel agents, tour operators, and travel service providers managing group travel. The system is designed to eliminate the stress of last-minute filings and make the TDAC process faster, more flexible, and more reliable for everyone involved. One of the platform's standout features is its support for full pre-submission edits, allowing agents to adjust any application at any point before submission. The system even allows edits after a TDAC has been issued, giving agencies far greater control than the official government platform provides. For submissions made within 72 hours of arrival, the service is completely free. There is no charge to travelers or agents using the platform during the standard submission window. For those who want to prepare in advance, the platform offers automatic timed submission, ensuring that each TDAC is filed at the earliest eligible moment. Early submission pricing ranges from $0.50 to $8 per applicant, depending on group size, with larger groups benefiting from lower per-person costs. The AGENTS TDAC platform also solves a common and frustrating issue with the government system: session timeouts and unexpected errors. The official TDAC website can force users to start over if the session expires, or if a network or system error occurs mid-submission. You can imagine how disruptive this could be if you're submitting for a group of four travelers, or worse, thirty. In contrast, the AGENTS platform uses a fully resumable form, saving your progress automatically so you can continue later without losing any data or having to start from scratch. Another significant advantage for group travelers is the individual TDAC delivery system. Unlike the official government platform that combines all travelers into a single document (creating privacy concerns when distributing to group members), the AGENTS system generates separate TDACs for each person. Every traveler receives their own TDAC directly to their personal email address, ensuring privacy and individual document control. This is especially valuable for visa applications such as the Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa, which requires individual TDACs rather than group documents. Travel agents and tour operators benefit from this privacy-focused approach while still maintaining convenient group management through a single download option for all TDACs. Key features include: Unlimited draft sessions that never expire unless deleted Fully resumable form with no session timeouts or forced restarts Instant reload of previously submitted data Unlimited edits before submission Ability to edit even after TDAC has been issued Automatic submission for early-prepared applications Approvals typically issued within 1 to 5 minutes for submissions inside 72 hours No group size limit Individual TDACs issued per traveler to meet documentation requirements Optional eSIM purchase at checkout, often priced below retail While the platform is optimized for group submissions, regular travelers are also welcome to use the AGENTS TDAC system. Travelers submitting within 72 hours of arrival can use the platform at no cost. Those who wish to submit early may choose the optional paid service for added convenience and peace of mind. Official TDAC information page by AGENTS ( ) The system proved its reliability during a major outage on May 7, when the official TDAC site became inaccessible. Hundreds of travelers and agents successfully used the AGENTS platform to complete their submissions, with over 99 percent receiving their TDACs without delay most of them completely free. AGENTS CO., LTD. has a strong track record supporting international travelers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company launched the ASQ hotel booking platform and provided Thailand Pass support to hundreds of thousands of arrivals. All personal data submitted through the platform is handled in full compliance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Travelers and agencies are reminded to verify the authenticity of TDAC-related websites. The official government TDAC form is hosted at If using a third-party service, look for a . or . domain to ensure the provider is properly registered in Thailand.
