Bryce Dallas Howard addresses her Jurassic World future

Bryce Dallas Howard addresses her Jurassic World future The 44-year-old actress starred alongside Chris Pratt as Claire Dearing in the Jurassic World trilogy Bryce Dallas Howard (Image: (Credit too long, see caption) ) Bryce Dallas Howard thinks "the door is always open" for her to return to the Jurassic World series. The 44-year-old actress starred alongside Chris Pratt as Claire Dearing in the Jurassic World trilogy from the 2015 eponymous flick until 2022's Jurassic World: Dominion, and with the franchise set for a soft reboot in July with Jurassic World: Rebirth, Howard has insisted she could come back to the series at some point in the future. ‌ Speaking with Screen Rant, she said: "I think that the door is always open. ‌ "It was so cool with Dominion getting to have the legacy cast back and working in the franchise. But the most important thing is that this is a story about dinosaurs and what if dinosaurs and human beings coexisted? It is not about a specific set of characters. "So, for myself as a fan, I am so excited for Jurassic World: Rebirth. I'm going to be there in the theater opening day, and they have an amazing cast. I mean, Mahershala Ali, Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey. It's going to be absolutely fantastic. So I'm excited." In Jurassic World: Rebirth, Zora Bennett (Johansson) leads a covert team racing to stop a rogue biotech group unleashing weaponised dinosaurs across the globe. Article continues below As prehistoric chaos spreads, she must confront a dark secret tied to the original Jurassic legacy. Jurassic World: Rebirth director Gareth Edwards previously teased he wanted to revitalise the Jurassic Park franchise's "horror" elements with his film. He explained to Vanity Fair: "Jurassic Park [the original 1993 movie] is a horror film in the witness protection program. Most people don't think of it like that. ‌ "We all went to see it as kids. But I was scared s*******, to be honest, when I was at the cinema watching the T. rex attack. "It's one of the most well-directed scenes in cinema history, so the bar's really high to come on board and try and do this." The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director added: "There's something very primal that's buried deep inside everybody. As mammals, we evolved [with] this fear of the bigger animal that's going to come one day and maybe kill us or our family. ‌ "The second we see it happening onscreen, you're like, 'I knew it ... We had it too good for too long.'" Edwards revealed he was inspired by movie franchises like Alien and Star Wars to create a scary new dinosaur for Jurassic World: Rebirth. He said: "When you make a creature, you get a big, massive pot and you pour in your favorite monsters from other films and books ... When will Dubai Fountain reopen? The proposed dates to know

Dubai Fountain is one of the most iconic and recognisable attractions in the emirate, but it will be closed for the majority of the year while major upgrades are carried out. While the world's largest performing fountain is closed, Emaar has introduced new measures to enhance the visitor experience in the area surrounding Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. When will Dubai Fountain reopen? Dubai Fountain show (Credit: Supplied) Dubai Fountain is currently closed due to major redevelopments to make it even better than before. By Dubai's standards, we're in for a treat. Although an official opening date has yet to be established, Dubai Mall confirmed that the fountain is aiming to be fully operational by October 2025. Emaar also shared a similar prediction via their official channels, and wrote, 'The renovation will commence in May and is expected to take five months to complete.' Dubai Fountain currently Dubai Fountain is officially closed while major upgrades are underway Dubai Fountain looks completely different without water The first stage of the Dubai Fountain revamp involves closing down the attraction and removing the 30 acres of water, before alternative measures are installed (more about that below), so the hard work can begin. After the official closure on Saturday April 19, the Downtown spot looks completely different without the huge artificial Burj Khalifa Lake. With already significant progress underway, we can't wait to see the final result. Dubai Fountain upgrade plans So, what can we expect with the upgrade? There will be advanced technology, improved choreography, and an enhanced sound and lighting system used in the regular performances. The shows, held in the Burj Lake, saw the fountains spray up to 22,000 gallons of water as high as 140m in the air at any one time while accompanied by lights and music. Dubai Fountain alternatives The Dubai Fountain Show will close for five months this year (Credit: Emaar) The area surrounding Dubai Mall and Souk Al Bahar is one of the most popular places for visitors to the city as it offers a great view of the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain show. Emaar, the property developer behind Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, will install 500 metres of state-of-the-art digital screens across the promenade while work is carried out on the Dubai Fountain. The screens are designed to animate the location with engaging visual content, and it is hoped that they will keep the promenade busy while the fountain is closed. Dubai Fountain show (Credit: Emaar) In addition to the state-of-the-art screens, Emaar has also announced that rent for 50 food and beverage spots with lake and fountain-facing terraces will be waived for four months between June and September. The affected terrace spaces are likely to experience a decline in footfall while upgrades are put in place at the Dubai Fountain. Guests at restaurants in the area surrounding the Dubai Fountain would normally have an incredible view of the attraction's nightly shows against the backdrop of the world's tallest building. While there will still be great views of the city and its most iconic building, the property developer is supporting its tenants during the temporary closure. Dubai Fountain show (Credit: Supplied) Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Emaar, highlighted the popularity of Dubai Fountain for visitors. He said: 'For years, Dubai Fountain and the surrounding lake have contributed significantly to the popularity of these destinations. 'As we move into a new chapter, this rent support reflects our commitment to long-term partnerships and to helping tenants navigate this transition with resilience and confidence.' Making plans? How parking actually works at Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, BurJuman and more

It's no secret that Dubai is home to some of the world's best malls and, more often than not, you'll want to take your car. In recent times, some of the city's biggest malls have removed parking barriers to make it quicker to get in and out of car parks. But even though the barriers have been removed, that doesn't necessarily mean that there won't be any fees, so make sure you don't get caught out. In 2024, Dubai Mall began charging fees for the first time for visitors – but you can still park for free within certain time frames. As long as your timing is right, you can make some major savings on parking at some of the city's biggest malls and focus, instead, on grabbing bargains. Below, we outline some of the malls where how you park has recently been updated and what you need to do to avoid paying hefty fees. Recent mall parking changes BurJuman (Credit: BurJuman Mall) One of the city's oldest malls, BurJuman Mall has introduced Automatic Number Plate Recognition to calculate fees. Cameras will scan your number plate upon arrival. The mall introduced a ticketless system in May 2025. While tickets are no longer necessary, you still need to pay at the machines. However, you can still park for free depending on how long you're staying at the mall. Free for the first three hours Free for an additional three hours if you're a VOX Cinema customer Free on Sundays and public holidays Re-entry for free parking only allowed after six hours of exiting Dhs20 per hour for every additional hour Overnight parking is prohibited, Dhs350 fine per day City Centre Deira City Centre Deira introduced a barrierless parking system in early 2025. The system, operated by Parkin, can be paid for via the Parkin app, with Apple Pay, a credit/debit card or a Parkin wallet. If you go over the allotted free period, you will be sent a notification to the phone you registered with Parkin. It's free to park on Sundays, public holidays and for the first three hours between Monday and Saturday. However, parking is completely free at all times throughout the year. So, no worries about getting caught out here. Dubai Mall (Credit: Emaar) Free parking used to be one of Dubai Mall's most-loved perks — right up there with the dancing fountains (which are currently getting a summer glow-up) and late-night Zara runs. But times have changed. Last summer, Dubai Mall introduced a paid parking system that started on Monday July 1, 2024. The city's largest mall now also uses vehicle plate recognition, but fees only apply to Grand Parking, Cinema Parking and Fashion Parking. Monday to Thursday 0-4 hours: Free 4-5 hours: Dhs40 5-6 hours: Dhs60 6-7 hours: Dhs80 8-12 hours: Dhs100 12-24 hours: Dhs500 24 hours+: Dhs1,000 Friday to Sunday 0-6 hours: Free 6-7 hours: Dhs80 7-8 hours: Dhs100 8-12 hours: Dhs200 12-24 hours: Dhs500 24 hours+: Dhs1,000 Mall of the Emirates Mall of the Emirates (Credit: Mall of the Emirates) Mall of the Emirates introduced barrierless parking earlier in 2025 to cut down on congestion, particularly during peak hours. Shoppers no longer have to wait for a ticket to be provided at the barrier on their way into the car parks. Instead, Parkin's advanced cameras automatically capture your vehicle's license plate and automatically track your car. The system, operated by Parkin, can be paid for via the Parkin app, with Apple Pay, a credit/debit card or a Parkin wallet.
