iQOO teases Neo 10 with a dedicated graphics chip

GSM Arena05-05-2025

The iQOO Neo 10 is soon arriving in India, the local division of the vivo brand revealed. The phone is advertised with "dual chip power," and we believe it is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, coupled with the vivo Q1 graphics chip.
There are reports the Neo 10 will be based on the iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro, which debuted in China last week.
The vivo Q1 chip was already part of another internationally available iQOO Neo smartphone – the iQOO Neo9 Pro. It controls the display to decrease latency, optimize power consumption at high frame rates and resolution, and lowers temperature during heavy gaming sessions.
Some apps are even capable of supporting 144 Hz refresh rate, and we believe vivo will keep the limitations to select gaming apps in the Neo 10 as well.
iQOO Z10 Turbo series
If the iQOO Neo 10 is indeed just the Z10 Turbo Pro with a new name, we should expect a 6.78" AMOLED screen, a 50 MP main camera on the back, and a monstrous 7,000 mAh battery with 120W charging support. vivo iQOO Neo9 Pro
Once launched, vivo iQOO Neo 10 will be available on Amazon India and the local iQOO store.

vivo X Fold5 will have unprecedented dust and water resistance for a foldable

vivo has started the teaser campaign for its upcoming X Fold5, which according to a recent rumor is due to be unveiled on July 10. The phone will boast unprecedented dust and water resistance ratings for a foldable. We're talking about IP5X dust resistance, which beats Samsung's IP4X, as well as a trio of water resistance ratings: IPX8, IPX9, and IPX9+. IP5X means the phone will not entirely prevent ingress of dust, but "it must not enter in sufficient quantity to interfere with the safe operation", according to the IP code definitions. vivo X Fold5 teaser image Regarding IPX9+, vivo says you'll be able to fold and unfold the X Fold5 in water 1m deep 1,000 times, which is certainly impressive, even though we're not sure what the use case for that would be in the real world. Finally, no other foldable so far has received an IPX9 certification, which is all about protection from water jets (IPX8 is about immersion into water). The X Fold5 is also teased to be the lightest book-style foldable ever, and will be offered in green as you can see from the glimpse in the shot above. Source (in Chinese)

iQOO Z10 Lite's launch date and price segment revealed, will be powered by a Snapdragon chip

iQOO's Z10 series includes four smartphones - Z10, Z10x, Z10 Turbo, and Z10 Turbo Pro, with the last two being China-exclusive. iQOO today announced that on June 18, it will unveil the iQOO Z10 Lite as the fifth member of the Z10 lineup. The image shared by iQOO's Indian branch reveals the Z10 Lite will sport two cameras on its back, aligned vertically in the top-left corner. The smartphone will pack a 6,000 mAh battery, which, iQOO says, makes the Z10 the "Segment's Biggest Battery 5G Smartphone." If you are wondering about the price segment, it's under INR10,000 ($115/€100). iQOO hasn't divulged anything else about the Z10 Lite, but the brand has tagged Snapdragon India's account in its X post, confirming the Z10 Lite will have a Snapdragon chip at the helm. You can expect iQOO to reveal more about this budget smartphone in the days leading up to its June 18 launch. vivo iQOO Z10 vivo iQOO Z10x 5G Source
