ASRY, AD Ports set up new Bahrain marine services JV
Bahrain-based Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY), a distinguished leader in the maritime sector, has recently announced the establishment of its joint venture (JV) with Noatum Maritime, a part of Abu Dhabi-based AD Ports Group's Maritime & Shipping Cluster.
The move is aimed at offering a diversified portfolio of maritime solutions for the provision of marine services in Bahrain, said the company in a statement.
The collaboration aims to sharpen the current marine service offering at ASRY Shipyard on an exclusive basis by leveraging Noatum Maritime's operational expertise and modern fleet, and then will target external clients within Bahrain, it stated.
Captain Ammar Al Shaiba, CEO Maritime & Shipping Cluster, AD Ports Group said: "This collaboration strengthens our regional presence and enables us to leverage our expertise in marine services, while providing service excellence through our modern efficient fleet."
"By combining our strengths we will drive operational synergies, enhance reliability and deliver optimised solutions to customers," he stated.
Asry CEO Dr Ahmed AlAbri said: "Our partnership with Noatum Maritime marks a strategic step in strengthening our maritime services. With their expertise and advanced fleet, we are confident this joint venture will set new standards in efficiency, reliability, and excellence in service."
AlAbri pointed out that this co-operation was also an important move towards improving maritime services in the region.
"We firmly believe this collaboration will establish a new benchmark for the maritime industry in terms of quality, efficiency, and service standards," he stated.

Burjeel Holdings to manage Adnoc's new Das Hospital
Burjeel Holdings, a leading super-specialty healthcare provider in the MENA region, listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, has signed a contract to operate and manage Adnoc's Das Hospital at Das Island. This agreement supports Adnoc's commitment to strengthening emergency preparedness, improving healthcare accessibility, and promoting community wellbeing at Das Island, a statement said. The new Das Hospital is designed to serve as the primary healthcare and emergency response hub for Das Island residents. With its advanced infrastructure and comprehensive range of services, the facility will provide round-the-clock care for Adnoc's workforce, residents, and emergency medical cases arising from nearby locations.
