This is the heartbreaking final photo of Greg Monks before he mysteriously disappeared during a stag do in Portugal. Greg Monks, hailing from Cambuslang near Glasgow, vanished last Tuesday evening just hours after landing in the Algarve with his mates.
The last known image of the 38-year-old depicts him grinning, clad in a dark Nike top and dark trousers. It's thought the picture was taken before Greg and his pals departed from the Novochoro Apartments hotel, heading towards pubs in Albufeira.
Greg went missing the next day after telling friends he would head back to his hotel alone following several hours of drinking.

He was last seen on CCTV in the residential area of Cerro de Aguia, roughly four miles away from the main pub area.
His sudden disappearance triggered a major search, with both his parents and girlfriend flying out. Tragically, Portuguese police announced they found a body during the search for the 38 year old, reports the Mirror.
Sources indicated that police suspect Greg got lost and tragically fell to his death while trying to find his way back to his hotel. Authorities are now investigating the circumstances leading up to his disappearance, including the routes he might have taken.
The hill in the Cerro da Aguia area where police believe he was on the night he disappeared is about an hour away from where Greg parted ways with his friends, while his holiday flat was approximately 30 minutes away.
Greg's body, having been left undiscovered for nearly a week, began decomposing due to the sweltering heat. A knowledgeable police insider previously conveyed: "There is nothing at this stage to indicate this man's death was linked in any way to a crime. But we need to wait for the autopsy results to conclude that is the case."
The source elaborated: "Our belief is he lost all notion of where he was after drinking heavily and finding himself in an unfamiliar place, and that he jumped over a wall and fell to his death. The body was already in a state of decomposition when it was found."
In the wake of the grim discovery, Greg's sister Jilian poured out her grief, heralding him as "an amazing boy". She spoke further: "Didn't think it would end like this. We are absolutely devastated. Greg was an amazing boy who everyone thought so highly of, Was friends with everyone and always made us laugh! We will miss him everyday."
She continued in appreciation: "I just want to thank absolutely everyone for everything they done from sharing their posts to out looking, phoning everywhere to get CCTV. The support we have received from everyone has been out of this world. If love coulda saved you, you would live forever! Miss you forever brother."

ITV's Jeremy Kyle Show has been hit with controversy over the years, including one guest who killed his girlfriend's hamster after finding out he was not the father of her baby A former star of The Jeremy Kyle Show has had his lifetime ban on owning animals lifted. Police thwart alleged terror attack plan on King Charles' guards

It is reported a man was arrested after his alleged plan was revealed while he was in custody being interrogated on separate offences. Following the man's arrest military personnel at a barracks near Windsor Castle in Windsor, Berkshire were reportedly warned not to leave the grounds in uniform. The alert remained in place for two days at Victoria Barracks, home to the 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards, the Mirror reports. A source told The Sun : 'The suspect is feared to have been plotting an attack. Police informed bosses at the barracks and measures were taken immediately despite him already being in custody. It was a huge security scare. But it was in the interests of everyone's safety.' According to the Sun Thames Valley Police first arrested the man in Slough, Berkshire, last week on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and arson at the nearby Salt Hill Activity Centre. However, while he was in custody on Sunday June, 1 police re-arrested him on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts.
