Arnold Schwarzenegger's son, 27, rocks transformation after major weight loss

Metro21-04-2025

Christopher Schwarzenegger is practically unrecognisable now after undergoing a major weight loss transformation.
The 27-year-old is the son of Terminator legend Arnold Schwarzenegger, 77, and his ex-wife, Maria Shriver, 69.
Working as the Director of Development at Indus Valley Media, a Los Angeles-based production company, Christopher does much of his work behind the scenes rather than on-screen.
This is a stark contrast to his brother and fellow nepo baby Patrick, 31, who recently shocked with nude, incestuous scenes in HBO's The White Lotus.
In a much more wholesome affair, though, the siblings stepped out over the weekend for an Easter lunch with their family.
Christopher proudly showcased his trim physique on the outing, wearing a tight-fitting long-sleeve top and fitted grey slacks.
Carrying a Chick-fil-A drink, he arrived at the gathering with his model girlfriend, Abbie Champion, whom he has dated for almost a decade.
There was a full house at the restaurant, as they were joined by Schwarzenegger sisters Christina, 33, and Katherine, 35, with the latter bringing along her Hollywood star hubby, Chris Pratt, 45.
According to onlookers, the famous brood was seen arriving at the Restoration Hardware restaurant in West Hollywood.
Journalist and former First Lady of California Maria was also present, as she was spotted leaving in a car with Christopher.
As for father Arnie, however, the actor, who split from Maria in 2011, opted to skip the celebrations.
Christopher's family Easter lunch comes after he embarked on a weight loss journey in 2020 to overhaul his health.
At the time, sources said he undertook the challenge as he wanted to make a change ahead of graduating from the University of Michigan.
'He started working out and making better food choices,' an insider told Hollywood Life.
'He was away at school, living like a typical college kid for a few years, but he's growing up now and ready to take better care of himself.'
The youngest Schwarzenegger child is the most private of the clan and not much is known about his personal life.
However, almost three years after deciding to switch up his lifestyle, he was spotted at a gym in 2023 with a considerably more buff figure.
It's unknown whether his famous father has ever given him advice, but the Austrian and American businessman has spoken about fitness publicly before.
'My advice to beginners is really simple: begin, and then don't stop until it is a routine,' Arnold wrote in his weekly newsletter, The Pump Daily, in early 2023.
'For a lot of people, that first step is the hardest. So find something, anything, you can do.'
He added: 'Once you begin, the key is keeping your momentum… Motivation is fleeting, but routine is what carries you on. You need to make this a routine. More Trending
'Do whatever you can do every day for a month, and then build on that.'
Additionally, when Christopher turned 24, both his father and brother Patrick expressed their pride for his newfound exercise regime.
'Between your boxing classes, your weightlifting classes, your stretching classes, your cycling classes, and on and on, I can't even keep up with you!', his bodybuilder father penned on Instagram.
Patrick added: 'Proud of you. New job. Crushing in the gym. Whole new person. Can't wait to see what this year brings.'

'Nepo baby' Billi FitzSimons follows in her mother Lisa Wilkinson's footsteps and lands a spot on breakfast TV

Billi FitzSimons is continuing to follow in her mother Lisa Wilkinson 's footsteps. The 25-year-old has already began to chart a similar course to parents Lisa, 65, and Peter FitzSimons, 63, in the world of print journalism and now, like her mother, has dipped her toe into the waters of breakfast television. In her capacity as editor-in-chief of online publication The Daily Aus, Billi appeared on ABC News Breakfast on Tuesday morning. She was tasked with providing a round-up of the morning's headlines - a job she handled with aplomb. Billi spoke about the protests currently raging in Los Angeles over president Donald Trump's immigration laws. The 25-year-old has already began to chart a similar course to parents Lisa, 65, and Peter FitzSimons , 63, in the world of print journalism and now, like her mother, has dipped her toe into the waters of breakfast television She also spoke about the lawsuits brought by Justin Baldoni against Blake Lively and the New York Times being dismissed overnight. Showing no nervousness over her debut national television appearance, Billi even had a 'fun fact' to offer viewers about the news. 'The fun fact of the day is that the New York Times has not lost a defamation lawsuit in more than 50 years, which for a media organisation of that size, is quite extraordinary,' she said. Billi rounded out her appearance with news that Aussie actress Sarah Snook won the best performance by a leading actress Tony for her turn in A Picture of Dorian Gray. 'Does this mean that she could be on track for an EGOT?' Billi opined. 'She has won an Emmy now the Tony. Could she also win a Grammy and an Oscar to get that coveted final big award? I mean, it's not one award - it's four awards but that status, I guess.' Billi's foray into breakfast television comes after she was promoted to editor-in-chief of The Daily Aus in 2024. 'I'm looking forward to growing our diverse content offerings, including podcasting, polling, video and newsletters,' she said when she announced her new role. Her mother got Billi her first job as a writer on news website Mamamia when she was still at university by calling in a favour with her old protégé Mia Freedman 'We have big plans this year, and I can't wait for you to see what we have in store.' The Daily Aus is a social media-based news aggregator with over 600,000 followers on Instagram. It targets Gen Z and Millennials with easy-to-digest news stories and explainer articles. 'RAHHH!', her father Peter FitzSimons - the former rugby international turned writer - posted in response to the news. Billi's mother started editing women's magazine Dolly at the age of 21, where she reportedly tripled the circulation. After this impressive feat, she was personally approached by billionaire news magnate Kerry Packer to head up women's lifestyle magazine, Cleo. Lisa went on to forge a successful career in television journalism, hosting the Today show and later becoming a panellist on The Project. However, her career has stalled amidst the ongoing fallout of her controversial interview with former Liberal staffer Brittany Higgins, and has not been seen on TV in over a year. Her mother got Billi her first job as a writer on news website Mamamia when she was still at university by calling in a favour with her old protégé Mia Freedman. She worked for Mamamia throughout university before landing a job as a political writer at the Daily Aus straight after graduating. She gained a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications), Government and International Relations, Digital Cultures from the University of Sydney in 2019. While she's reaching the heights of Australian media, Billi started her working life spent her teenage years working in fast food before following in the footsteps of her successful parents. Back in 2023, her author father Peter revealed that Billi worked at Domino's Pizza during her teenage years. In response to a tweet, Peter, an author and journalist with The Sydney Morning Herald, revealed his daughter's first job. 'Billi had a job after school taking orders at Dominos Pizza for about four years from 14 or so, so she took pocket money as a bonus!' he said.

Delta Goodrem hits back after US actor Marlon Wayans 'completely humiliated' her at Beyoncé concert

Delta Goodrem has revisited her infamous 'concert scandal' where she was brutally shamed for her dancing abilities. In 2014, American actor Marlon Wayans, 52, was standing next to the Born to Try singer, 40, at a Beyoncé concert in Los Angeles and shared a photo of her dancing to social media. 'Man I got the most UNRHYTHMIC WHITE WOMAN dancing next to me at the jay and bay concert... this b***h dancing to AC/ DC ',' he wrote at the time. Delta has now broken her silence about the shock incident and revealed while she initially found it humiliating, she came to see the experience as 'liberating' for a very surprising reason. 'I'd always been a bit shy to dance. That freedom the moment gave me... Someone keeps pressing a certain point, saying, "You can't dance",' Delta told Daily Mail's The Life of Bryony podcast. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Delta added a result of the Scary Movie actor publicly humiliating her was that she no longer feared people's criticism. 'Now I could dance in the street, I could dance right here. I could show you all my dance moves. I have no fear when it comes to dancing,' she said. 'All because I'd been completely humiliated. Thank you, now I can do an entire dance routine in my shows, I am ready to go!' In August 2014, Marlon and Delta were brought together as they both attended Jay Z and Beyoncé's On The Run tour in Los Angeles. Marlon was seen with a startled expression on his face as he watched the Innocent Eyes singer groove along to the music. Delta was seen smiling and throwing her hands in the air, seemingly oblivious to the comic's picture taking. She was at the gig in Pasadena's Rose Bowl Stadium with her close friend Renee Bargh, while the White Girls actor enjoyed a family night out - taking his son Amai to his very first concert. Delta also shared a snap at the event, uploading an image of Jay Z and Beyoncé performing on stage as she gushed about the show. After Marlon posted the picture, the songstress' fans rushed to her defence, with one fan writing 'that b***h you're standing next to is one of Australia's famous singers'. Another added 'that girl can dance! Should have gone to specsavers Marlon Wayans. Do you realise this is Australia's most successful musician?' However, some laughed along - with one Instagrammer joking 'I've seen her dancing on The Voice. It's horrendous.' Delta is one of Australia's most decorated female singer-songwriters. The former partner of Westlife singer Brian McFadden signed her first recording contract at only 15 years old and her 2003 debut album 'Innocent Eyes' topped the Australian charts for 29 weeks. Her most recent album, Bridge Over Troubled Dreams, was released in 2021 and reached number one in Australia.

Doechii wins Best Female Hip Hop Artist to kick off 2025 BET Awards before speaking out against Trump

Doechii won her first BET Award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist on Monday night, using her acceptance speech to address the unrest over ICE raids in Los Angeles. The 26-year-old Tampa rapper (born Jaylah Ji'mya Hickmon) beat out Cardi B, Doja Cat, GloRilla, Latto, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, Rapsody and Sexyy Red for the award, during the ceremony at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. She took to the stage to accept her award, thanking the BET network, adding, 'This is my first BET Awards, so this means a lot to me.' 'I grew up watching this. I want to acknowledge all of the girls in my category that worked hard, extremely talented and very creative. You ladies are amazing. So, thank you, BET, for honoring me with this,' she added. Her speech turned serious, though, after that, addressing the protests in downtown Los Angeles over mass deportations and ICE raids, which President Donald Trump responded to by deploying the National Guard in a controversial move. 'But as much as I'm honored by this award, I do want to address what's happening right now outside of the building,' she said to applause. Her speech turned serious, though, after that, addressing the protests in downtown Los Angeles over mass deportations and ICE raids, which President Donald Trump responded to by deploying the National Guard in a controversial move 'There are ruthless attacks that are creating fear and chaos in our communities in the name of "Law & order." Trump is using military forces to stop a protest,' she added. 'I want you all to consider what kind of government it appears to be one every time we exercise our democratic right to protest, the military is deployed against us,' she added. 'What type of government is that? People are being swept up and torn from their families, and I feel it's my responsibility as an artist to use this moment to speak up for all oppressed people,' she said to more applause. 'For black people. For Latino people, for trans people. For the people in Gaza. We all deserve to live in hope and not in fear. I hope we stand together. My brothers and my sisters, against hate, and we protest against it. Thank you, BET!' she concluded. 2025 BET Awards Winners Album of the Year $Ome $Exy $Ongs 4 U - Drake & PartyNextDoor 11:11 Deluxe - Chris Brown Alligator Bites Never Heal - Doechii Cowboy Carter - Beyoncé Glorious - GloRilla GNX - Kendrick Lamar Hurry Up Tomorrow - The Weeknd We Don't Trust You - Future & Metro Boomin Best Female R&B/Pop Artist Ari Lennox Ayra Starr Coco Jones Kehlani Muni Long Summer Walker SZA Victoria Monét Best Male R&B/Pop Artist Bruno Mars Chris Brown Drake Fridayy Leon Thomas Teddy Swims The Weeknd Usher Best Group 41 Common & Pete Rock Drake & PartyNextDoor FLO Future & Metro Boomin Jacquees & Dej Loaf Larry June, 2 Chainz, The Alchemist Maverick City Music Best Collaboration '30 For 30' - SZA Feat.
