Youngsters Atharva Ankolekar and Musheer Khan were the highlights of the T20 Mumbai League auction as eight teams were involved in an intense bidding on Wednesday.
While Eagle Thane Strikers roped in left-arm spin-bowling all-rounder Ankolekar for a whopping ₹16.25 lakh, Musheer and Sairaj Patil went to ARCS Andheri and Eagle Thane Strikers respectively for ₹15 lakh each.
Ayush Mhatre and Angkrish Raghuvanshi were roped in by Triumph Knights Mumbai North East (₹14.75 lakh) and SoBo Mumbai Falcons (₹14 lakh).
The seasoned spinner Shams Mulani, too, got a ₹14 lakh deal from Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs.
Tanush Kotian, who was part of India's Test squad in Australia, went to North Mumbai Panthers for ₹10 lakh.

With the league returning after six years, nearly 280 players went under the hammer, and as youngsters Mhatre and Raghuvanshi garnered all the attention, India's T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav heaped praise on both.

Legally, the ad hoc committee is only for three months during which elections have to be held, but elections have not been held for one and a half years, Gehlot said in his post. Referring to the tenure of his son Vaibhav Gehlot as RCA president, the former chief minister said, 'During Vaibhav Gehlot's tenure as president, RCA was discussed for positive works. After 2019, the ban imposed on RCA by BCCI was lifted, international and IPL matches started being organised in Rajasthan, and state-level cricket competitions including RPL were organised.' He said that during this time, the construction of one of the world's largest cricket stadiums near Jaipur started with Vedanta Group. The work of this stadium has also stopped now.
