Midfielder Amy Rodgers has been ruled out of Scotland's final Nations League A Group 1 game against the Netherlands after breaking her jaw against Austria.The 26-year-old Bristol City player took an elbow to the face from Austria captain Sarah Puntigam minutes before Scotland conceded the only goal of the game at Hampden on Friday night.Charlton Atheltic's Charlotte Newsham has been called-up to the A squad for the first time, promoted from the under-23s, in her place of Rodgers for Tuesday's trip to Tilburg.Rodgers, who earned her 11th cap in the defeat, leaves camp alongside Rangers captain Nicola Docherty, who suffered a concussion in last Sunday's Scottish Cup final.
Docherty, who has not featured for the national team since the Euro 2025 play-off defeat by Finland in December, collided with international team-mate Amy Muir and initially continued before exiting the pitch 20 minutes later.Friday's result not only kicked off new head coach Melissa Andreatta's tenure with defeat, but also confirmed the Scots' relegation to League B with a game to spare.Andreatta's side round off Group A1 in the Netherlands on Tuesday, which will be televised live on BBC Scotland.

June 3 (Reuters) - UK-based medical device company CMR Surgical has put itself up for sale at a valuation of up to $4 billion, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing sources familiar with the matter. The surgical robotics maker had hired advisers in recent weeks to initiate the sale process, likely to elicit interest from large strategic buyers, the report added. Founded in 2014, CMR Surgical received U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval for the upgraded version of its flagship Versius surgical robot in October last year, to be used in gall bladder removal procedures. Reuters could not immediately verify the report. CMR Surgical did not immediately respond to a request for comment outside regular business hours.

Shaun Hobson racist abuse fan will be banned, says Southend
Southend United FC has said the person who sent racist abuse to an Oldham Athletic player will be banned from matches once they are Latics beat Southend 3-2 after extra time in the National League play-off final at Wembley Stadium on the match, Oldham defender Shaun Hobson shared a screenshot of a private message he received and wrote that he was "not angry, just disappointed".Hobson played for the Shrimpers before making the switch to Oldham in 2023. The 26-year-old appeared in the final as a substitute in the 98th message was believed to have been sent by a Southend fan and the club said it "strongly condemns the racial abuse"."The incident has been reported to the relevant authorities and we are working closely with them to identify the perpetrator, who will be subject to a club ban.
