Sana'a gov commemorates day of al-Wilayah with extensive cultural events

Sana'a – Saba: Public events and cultural meetings were held on Monday across several districts of Sana'a governorate to mark the Day of al-Wilayah (Eid al-Ghadir), under the slogan "Whoever I am his master, then this Ali is his master." In a large gathering in Walan area of Bilad al-Rus district, Deputy Mayor Ali al-Qafri and social leaders were present as scholar Fuad Naji, a member of the Supreme Council of the Yemeni Scholars Association, highlighted the historical significance of Eid al-Ghadir as a pivotal moment where Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) outlined the nation's path. District Director Saleh Naji stressed that commemorating Imam Ali's guardianship / al-Wilayah is a platform for drawing lessons in courage, sacrifice, and defending faith. Cultural evenings organized by General Mobilization in various sub-districts of Bani Hushaish, attended by officials and popular figures, emphasized commemorating the Day of al-Wilayah as an act of gratitude to Allah for completing blessings and accepting Islam as their religion. Speeches indicated that celebrating this anniversary is a celebration of the completion of religion, asserting that the acceptance of deeds is only achieved through the guardianship of Imam Ali and his pure family. Speakers stressed that the principle of Imam Ali's al-Wilayah is the path to success, victory, and empowerment, serving as a strong fortress against the plots of "Jews and Christians." The speakers pointed out that the current pride, dignity, and strength of the Yemeni people are fruits of this "sincere al-Wilayah." Calls were made to emulate Imam Ali in word and deed and to mobilize for a grand celebration on the eighteenth of this month. Similar events in al-Tayyal, Jehana, Manakhah, and Bani Bahloul districts reiterated that the Day of al-Wilayah/ Allegiance outlined the correct path and ideal guardian for the Islamic nation's salvation. Speeches touched upon Imam Ali's virtues from a Quranic perspective, noting that the nation's victory depends on declaring loyalty and disavowal of enemies, a fact confirmed by reality. It was emphasized that the nation's progress requires a sincere return to the Quran and divine guidance, contrasting this with the humiliation suffered when deviating from this path. The importance of commemorating the Day of al-Wilayah as an annual religious tradition was underscored, explaining that al-Wilayah in guidance is an ongoing emulation that protects the nation from division and opens doors to glory and victory by avoiding allegiance to enemies. Al-Qassam publishes letter it received from Chief of Staff of Yemeni Armed Forces

Gaza – Saba: Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), published a letter it received on Monday evening from the Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Major General Mohammed Abdulkarim al-Ghamari. The letter, published on the Brigades' Telegram channel and viewed by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), congratulated the heroic mujahideen of Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, "coupled with pride and honor for your legendary steadfastness and immortal heroism that you have achieved in the fields of confrontation with the usurping Zionist enemy." Chief of the General Staff, Major General al-Ghamari, said: "The qualitative operations, painful strikes, and steadfast positions of faith carried out by al-Qassam Brigades fighters are a source of admiration and inspiration for all free people. They are irrefutable proof that whoever puts his trust in God and remains steadfast on the battlefield will achieve victory, even if all the forces of the earth unite against them." He added, "We support you, O Messenger of Allah, and we assure you that Yemen—its people, army, and leadership—will remain present on the battlefield with Palestine, with heart and arms, with stance and prayer, until the promise is fulfilled and the land is returned to its people." Al-Ghamari's letter added, "Gaza, which has become a symbol of pride, will not be broken as long as there are those in this nation who resemble Al-Qassam, men who have been true to their covenant with God, who believe that jihad is a duty and that victory is a promise from God to His sincere, oppressed servants." He renewed his pledge on this Eid, the Eid of Sacrifice, that the path of jihad is our path, and the fate of the enemy is defeat. Palestine is at the heart of Sana'a, just as Jerusalem is in our faith, our methods, and our compass." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print
