Lufthansa delays 'Israel' flight restart again, now pushed to May 25
Germany's Lufthansa Group has announced it will continue suspending all flights to and from Tel Aviv until at least May 25, citing ongoing regional security concerns.
A spokesperson for the airline confirmed the decision Sunday, extending the suspension that was previously in place through May 6.
The move follows heightened tensions in the region. On May 6, 'Israel's' Channel 12 reported that all incoming and outgoing flights at Ben Gurion International Airport were halted after a missile was launched from Yemen.
The Lufthansa Group—which includes Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings—has not operated flights to or from 'Israel' since suspending service earlier this year. The airline said it continues to monitor the situation and will resume operations once conditions are deemed safe.
