CBRE is marketing the site in Bishopbriggs which spans 860,892 square feet and is located within Westerhill Business Park.
The agent said: 'Presenting an ideal opportunity for industrial growth near Scotland's largest city, the facility has been the long-standing UK and global distribution headquarters for HarperCollins and is uniquely positioned to serve major national and international logistics operations.
'The facility comprises two substantial warehouse facilities, a standalone headquarters office building extending 118,000 square feet and additional land with future development potential. It also includes two gatehouses and 442 car parking spaces, supporting a fully operational and secure logistics environment.'
The agent also said: 'The site's strategic appeal is enhanced by its location within the Westerhill regeneration area - part of East Dunbartonshire Council's £34.88 million place and growth programme - a 300-hectare zone marked for significant commercial investment, including 85 hectares of employment land and improved infrastructure connections.
'It offers excellent connectivity via the nearby M80, M8, and M73 motorways, is close to Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Prestwick airports, and lies near Mossend International Railfreight Park, Scotland's largest international rail freight terminal.'
Craig Semple, director at CBRE Scotland, said: 'The industrial and logistics sector in Scotland is very robust, with good levels of demand for large-scale, well-connected distribution hubs. The site in Bishopbriggs represents a rare opportunity to secure a strategically located facility that can support the evolving needs of modern supply chains and crucially without the high costs of new development.
'With its extensive infrastructure, proximity to key transport links and access to Scotland's major population centres, we expect good interest from both national and international occupiers looking to establish a long-term foothold in the market.
'CBRE is currently tracking several million square feet of active occupier demand across Scotland, with a notable shortage of available stock in the mid to big box sector, particularly in Glasgow and the west while vacancy rates across the M8 corridor remain below two per cent.'

It warned strikes could "ground planes and passengers". Pat McIlvogue, Unite industrial officer, said walkouts could be held from the middle of July. More than 100 Swissport workers are locked in a dispute about rotas and work-life balance, according to Unite. It said the company "is demanding that workers at extreme short notice have to work shifts at various times and for various durations, which is directly impacting on their personal lives". Unite said some Swissport staff are "struggling with chronic fatigue". A further 250 ICTS Central Search workers, who deal with passengers directly in the security search area and process them for flights, are currently involved in a dispute over under-staffing, working conditions and pay. A total of 120 workers employed by Glasgow Airport Limited have rejected a basic 3.6% pay increase, with staff including airport ambassadors, airside support officers, engineers and managers involved. The same 3.6% pay increase was rejected by 50 Falck firefighters who perform fire safety functions at the airport. Meanwhile 300 Menzies Aviation workers, including dispatchers, allocators, airside agents and controllers, have rejected a basic uplift worth around 4.25%. The union recently announced a series of what it said were wage wins for 100 North Air workers across Scottish airports, and more than 140 staff based at Glasgow Airport employed by ABM and OCS. "The companies involved are all highly profitable and can easily afford to give our members better pay and working conditions. "The truth is that they are denying fair pay increases to cynically boost their profits." Mr McIlvogue said: "Unite is in dispute with companies at Glasgow Airport which could ultimately bring hundreds of workers out on strike. "The companies can resolve these disputes with Unite before that situation happens by addressing the legitimate concerns and pay aspirations of our members. "If the companies refuse to work with Unite to resolve these disputes, then we will have no option but to open strike ballots. This could mean strike action happening from the middle of July." A spokesperson for Swissport said: "We are in dialogue with Unite - the talks so far have been constructive and we remain focused on working together to address the issues being raised." Phil Lloyd, senior vice president UK, Menzies Aviation, said: "Following the rejection of recent pay award proposals, we remain committed to seeking a resolution, and have in fact met with Unite today to make an enhanced offer, with a follow-up session scheduled. "We hope to reach an agreement which is workable for both the business and our employees at Glasgow Airport. "We continue to work towards an agreeable solution to protect services for our airline and airport partners and their customers." "The key business risks for the group are the pressures of a highly competitive and changing retail environment combined with increased economic uncertainty. Final sales begin as popular clothing brand closes all stores leaving 'devastated' shoppers scrambling for alternative "A number of geopolitical events have resulted in continuing supply chain disruption as well as energy, labour and food price increases, driving inflation and interest rates higher and resulting in weaker disposable income and lower consumer confidence." River Island has twenty stores north of the border. A spokesperson for the store declined to comment to Sky.

Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho and Javier Mascherano all traded Merseyside for Catalonia, with their dreams of donning the Blaugrana shirt proving irresistible. ‌ So frequent were these raids that Liverpool, stung by Coutinho's £142million departure in 2018, inserted a cunning £90m premium clause into the deal, forcing Barcelona to pay a hefty surcharge for any future Anfield signings. The £90m premium clause from the Coutinho deal is now a relic of a bygone era, a reminder of when Liverpool had to fend off Barcelona's advances with contractual ingenuity. Today, they do so with the confidence of a club at the pinnacle of European football. Diaz's decision to stay, coupled with Liverpool's swift rejection of Barcelona's approach, sends a clear message: Anfield is where dreams are made rather than imagined, and the Reds are no longer anyone's feeder club.
