General Hospital spoilers: Drew's deplorable new low sets up a major murder mystery?

In all my time watching daytime soaps, I can't recall ever having more vitriol for a character than what I have for General Hospital's Drew (Cameron Mathison). Every time I think he's hit his rock bottom of moral depravity, he does something even more disgusting.
This time, in the General Hospital episode that aired on June 9, after seeing Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Rory Gibson) with their kids, seemingly happy to look at Michael's new daughter Daisy, a desperate Drew did the unthinkable to prevent Willow and Michael from reaching a truce. He saw Wiley (Viron Weaver) sitting on a bench in the hospital hallway and purposefully had a nearby conversation with Ric (Rick Hearst), in which Drew told the lawyer, 'Willow and I need custody of Wiley and Amelia, because now that Michael has the new baby, he doesn't want Wiley and Amelia anymore.'
The words devastated Wiley, and understandably so. What kid wants to hear their parent doesn't want them? Thankfully, Michael came around shortly thereafter, and he was able to reassure his son that he loves him and certainly wants him and Amelia.
When Michael told Willow what Drew said in earshot of Wiley, she protested in disbelief that Drew would say that. She even proposed that Wiley misunderstood Drew. An outraged Michael chastised Willow for again choosing Drew over their kids.
Honestly, I hope Willow is stripped of custody and is left with supervised visitation with her kids outside of the presence of Drew. My patience for her naivety has run out, and she needs to see what Drew is really costing her. This may sound harsh, but this has all gotten ridiculous (plus, it's the soap world).
With all that being said, I just don't see how General Hospital writers can redeem Drew at this point with the other residents of Port Charles (or with viewers at home). Short of it being revealed that Drew is actually Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), which is something I've previously theorized, I think the only way forward for Drew is a prison cell or a grave. Considering it would be hard to pin an actual crime on him, his murder is more likely, or at the very least, attempted murder.
Along those lines, if someone does decide they've had enough of Drew, who might take matters into their own murderous hands? Well, the soap world loves a good murder mystery, so if my hunch is correct, then a few suspects will emerge.
If I had to guess, Willow may be the person to actually try and take out Drew. When she finally realizes all the manipulative things he's done to her and her kids, she might snap in a blind rage. Ironically, though, I think Nina (Cynthia Watros) would step up for her daughter and claim responsibility, wanting to protect Willow and feeling as if she could probably beat the odds in a court of law.
I'm getting ahead of myself, of course, so for now I'll have to do like other General Hospital viewers and just wait to see what happens next. Let's all hope Drew's epic downfall comes sooner rather than later.

Chris Robinson, ‘General Hospital' actor who famously played a doctor on TV, dies at 86
Chris Robinson, the actor who played Dr. Rick Webber on 'General Hospital' and also introduced America to a classic turn of phrase in a commercial for cough syrup, has died of heart failure. He was 86. Robinson died in his sleep just after midnight on Monday at home in Sedona, Ariz., according to filmmaker MJ Allen, who posted the news on Facebook. 'Jacquie (Chris' wife) just called me a bit ago and informed me that my good friend and collaborator Hollywood legend Chris Robinson has passed away,' the filmmaker, whose full name is Michael Jason Allen, wrote Monday afternoon. 'We knew this was coming, but it always sucks.' Though Robinson had 100 TV and film acting credits, according to IMDb, his most famous role might be one many people don't realize they are referencing: He was the actor in a Vicks Formula 44 cough syrup commercial who first spoke the words, 'I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV.' That phrase from 1984 was uttered again two years later in a second Vicks Formula 44 ad featuring Peter Bergman, 'The Young and the Restless' actor who at the time played Dr. Cliff Warner on 'All My Children.' The rest was pop-culture history. Born in West Palm Beach, Fla., on Nov. 5, 1938, Robinson appeared in more than 1,000 'General Hospital' episodes between 1978 and 1986, then returned for about 20 episodes in 2002 and one in April 2013. He was also in almost 250 episodes as Jack Hamilton on 'The Bold and the Beautiful,' mostly in the early 1990s but continuing into the early 2000s, and had 20 episodes as Jason Frame on 'Another World' in 1988 to 1989. In 1985, the actor — then living in Glendale, Calif. — pleaded guilty to federal tax evasion charges and could have faced two years in prison for filing false tax returns on $490,000 in income from 1980 to 1981. He managed to avoid a sentence that would have forced him to leave 'General Hospital' by serving his time on nights and weekends to remain available for daytime taping. He was also ordered to pay all back taxes and interest. In more recent years, Robinson enjoyed time on his ranch with his artist wife of 14 years, Jacquie Shane-Robinson. 'We spent a few holidays together, staying out at his ranch having buffets by the creek, and him and Jacquie coming to my house to discuss projects were always a treat,' Allen wrote on Facebook. 'Good times. ... RIP, good friend and legend. Respect to Jacquie and the fam.' Rhonda Robinson, one of the actor's ex-wives, posted a vintage photo of a 1980s Daytime TV Yearbook on Monday showing Chris Robinson and their young sons, writing, 'Seems like a lifetime ago. Robinson played the role of Rick Webber off and on with his last appearance in 2013. While on General Hospital, his character became the adoptive father of Laura Webber, of Luke and Laura fame. In addition to General Hospital, Robinson also portrayed the role of Jack Hamilton on The Bold and the Beautiful. As the father of Taylor Hayes (then played by Hunter Tylo), he was paired romantically with Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery). He joined the show in 1992 and last appeared in the soap in 2005. Robinson's other daytime credit included the role of Jason Frame on Another World from 1988-1989. He was also known nationally for his Vicks Formula 44 Cough Syrup commercial, where his opening phrase 'I'm not a doctor, but I play one on T.V.' became iconic throughout the entertainment industry. The actor last appeared in the independent film Just for a Week in 2022, in the lead role of Ted Hurst. He also had a project in production The Foresaken, directed by Justin Kreinbrink.
