Jessica Alba focuses on 'friendship and self-care' as she chills by pool

Daily Mail2 days ago

Jessica Alba was cool by the pool as she celebrated 'friendship and self-care' during a sun-soaked weekend getaway.
The actress, 44, was seen relaxing in a white and beige patterned bikini and sunhat as she flashed a peace sign for the camera.
Following her divorce from Cash Warren, she wrote in the caption of her post: 'Channeling chill - breathwork - friendship and selfcare.'
In her series of snaps she also posed in a strapless leopard print swimsuit while spending time at a luxury spa.
Her vacation comes after she was recently spotted kissing and cozying up to a new man just weeks after her divorce from Cash Warren.
But recently an insider has shed light into Jessica 's life back on the market.
While she seemed to have a potential new beau in London, a source insisted to Us Weekly that Jessica isn't dating anyone in particular at the moment and is merely 'embracing' the attention coming her way.
'[Jessica has] gone on dates, but she isn't seeing anyone specific right now,' the source said.
'She's having a lot of fun going out with her girlfriends and being more spontaneous. She's embracing all the attention she's getting.'
Indeed, Jessica seems to be living it up now that she is single again.
Her Instagram account shows her traveling to numerous destinations where bathing suits are a must, and she even celebrated her birthday with her gal pals in Las Vegas.
'A vegas birthday was not in the cards, but a time was definitely had,' Jessica mused on Instagram as she shared snaps from her travels to Sin City in early May.
'Grateful for the women who have been by my side through every season with nothing but love & support. No matter where we are in the world, we have the best time when we're together - te amo.'
The post even included the LE Bowman poem A New Kind Of Sexy, a telling clue of her post-divorce attitude.
While Jessica may be an independent woman, she has had some company in recent weeks.
Earlier this month Alba was spotted enjoying a cozy stroll with a man in London's Regent's Park.
An onlooker told The Sun the pair could be seen kissing on deckchairs and embracing as they strolled through the park.
They said: 'They looked very intimate. They were hugging and holding hands as they walked through the park together.
'They rented out some deck chairs and they were sitting on them kissing.
'It looked very much like a new relationship.'
Jessica cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reasoning behind her separation from Cash when it was announced earlier this year, with him soon filing afterwards.
During the course of their marriage, the former couple welcomed three children: Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, seven - and both have requested joint physical and legal custody of their kids.
Eight months before it was revealed that Jessica and Cash were 'set for divorce,' the Hollywood star uploaded her final anniversary post to celebrate 16 years of marriage.
At the time, Alba shared an assortment of images to her main Instagram page of the pair from over the years.
She also penned a cryptic caption to accompany the snaps while reflecting on how they have gone through 'thick and thin.'
'16 years of marriage, 20 years together and forever to go… Happy Anniversary @cashwarren,' the mother-of-three began.
'I'm proud of us for making it this far. There is no real set of rules or guidance that can ever prepare you for what it means to commit to another person and choose to be family.'
The Honey star concluded: 'Through thick and thin we have continually found our way back to each other and have chosen one another. Cheers to us, I love you.'

Johnny Carson's eldest son Christopher dead at 74

Johnny Carson's eldest son, Christopher Carson, has died at 74. The King of Late Night TV's close friend, Howard Smith, confirmed that Chris died earlier this year, during his appearance on Joe Sibilia's 'Nostalgia Tonight' podcast on Monday. He shared that Johnny's nephew, Jeff Sotzing, informed him of Chris' death two months prior. Smith did not reveal Chris' cause of death. Chris was living in Florida when he died. The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson host — who passed away in 2005 — shared three sons with his first wife, Joan Morrill Wolcott. They welcomed Chris in 1950, followed by his brothers Rick the next year and Cory in 1953. The pair divorced in 1963. 'When John died, I tried to keep in communication with Chris,' Smith explained. 'I moved and bought a house outside of Fort Lauderdale. And at this golf club that I joined, I said to the guys, "You guys know Chris Carson?" The guy said, "Oh yeah, he's a member here." And I go, "Oh God." I said, "Well, I'm trying, you know, I'm a friend of his dad and all that. And I've been trying to get a hold of Chris, and Chris never got back with me."' 'When I went to this show that Jeff put on about John, and it was a fantastic, two-hour show that he did for about 100 people, and I said, "So Jeff, what's happening with Chris?" And he looks at me, goes, "Howard, Chris just died last week."' '"Really?" I go, "Oh no."' Smith shared that his bond with Chris grew strong during Johnny's golf trips when he was younger. 'Chris was an avid golfer, and so when he used to come, he lived in Florida, Fort Lauderdale, when he used to come to visit his dad, he would bring his clubs, because I would take them,' he said. 'We would play golf together, and John wouldn't play golf. John did play golf at one time, but he would just ride along with us.' In the 1980s, Chris made headlines following the birth of his daughter, Christal Love Carson, with long-term girlfriend Tanena Love Green. Their split resulted in a highly publicized child support court case. During the trial, it was revealed that Chris worked as a golf instructor, but his main financial backing was from his father, who supplied him with cars, a house, and $35,000 each year. Chris' brother Rick died at the age of 39 in a car accident on June 21, 1991. Smith shared that 'Cory is still alive,' adding, 'But I don't know. They don't see anybody that much.' Chris and Cory both remained out of the public eye. Following Johnny's death in 2005, his loved ones emphasized his wish for his family to live privately. Johnny hosted the final Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson episode on May 22, 1992. Carson's audience, which was more than triple the size of all three current network late-night shows combined, made him incredibly affluential across the '60s, '70s, and '80s. He died in January 2005 at age 79.

Bindi Irwin's secret struggle before being rushed to hospital for emergency surgery

Bindi Irwin was rushed to hospital just hours after touching down in Las Vegas for a gala honouring her late father last month. And it's been revealed, the conservationist, 26, was suffering from intense pain just hours before she suffered a ruptured appendix and was raced into surgery. Adil Cader, the founder of Talking Foreign Affairs, made the revelation in a candid LinkedIn post while revealing he interviewed Bindi prior to her flight. 'Just hours before flying out for emergency surgery and missing a gala honouring her father's legacy, Bindi showed up for an awareness raising interview with us,' he wrote. 'She was in intense pain. Yet not once did she ask to wrap early. Not once did her words feel anything but thoughtful and present. Not once did she let on that she was suffering. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'She had every reason to cancel. Most would have. She did it because she wanted to offer hope to others going through silent struggles.' Adil praised Bindi for completing the interview despite suffering from pain. 'That's what real character looks like. That's what true leadership is. This is what true grit is like,' he said. 'Battling through the biggest pain, yet smiling, just to give others hope. Thank you Bindi.' Last month, Bindi was rushed to hospital just hours after touching down in Las Vegas for a gala honouring her late father Steve Irwin. She suffered a ruptured appendix and was raced into surgery, missing the prestigious event that she was due to attend alongside brother Robert Irwin and mother Terri Irwin. Robert told People magazine at the time that Bindi was recovering and her mother was at her bedside. 'She's going to be okay, but surgery - out of all the things we were ready for, that was not one of them,' Robert explained. Terri also missed the event while accompanying her daughter to hospital and staying by her side through surgery. Robert explained that Bindi had been suffering some pain in the lead-up to the gala but had tried to soldier on. 'She came to Las Vegas and was ready to put on a brave face. She said, "I'm just going to tough it out". 'But the surgeon told her, "Your appendix is going. It's got to come out".' In an Instagram post, Bindi revealed that while her appendix was removed, doctors discovered another 14 lesions from her endometriosis. These were also successfully removed. She also had a large hernia repaired which had developed after giving birth to daughter Grace in 2021.

Benny Blanco reveals shock detail in wedding plans with Selena Gomez as he makes a surprise appearance on Australian television

Benny Blanco has revealed a little-known detail about his wedding to Selena Gomez. The music producer, who proposed to the Lose You To Love Me hitmaker back in December, appeared on the Today show on Wednesday to discuss his music, his latest album with his fiancé and their upcoming nuptials. Chatting to Richard Wilkins, the Hal David Starlight award-winner admitted that life 'couldn't be better' after getting engaged to Selena and releasing their first joint album I Said I Love You First, which hit radio waves in March. 'Most people when they get engaged they plan a wedding, but you and Selena make an album,' Richard joked to Benny. Speaking of the music-making process, Benny - real name Benjamin Joseph Levin - revealed that the album wasn't something the couple planned, it just happened. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'We just started making music in our house as a little fun activity and then all of a sudden we had one song, then two songs, then three songs, then four songs.' He went on: 'She was just a joy to work with and it was better to work with her than anyone else because at the end of the day I get to kiss her too.' Opening up about the much- talked-about wedding - and the anticipated star-studded guest list - Benny put out rumours that his pal and fellow musical genius Ed Sheeran had already RSVP'd. 'I just told him [Ed], "I'm gonna have a wedding and you're gonna come to the wedding',' he said. He then went on to reveal that the couple hadn't even sent invites yet to their A-lister friends, let alone set a date for their nuptials. 'Eventually Ed will come to our wedding, when we do have one, but unfortunately we have not scheduled one yet - but we will!' he said. Benny and Selena confirmed their relationship in December 2023, with the pair getting engaged a year later. 'Forever starts now,' Selena wrote at the time, showing off her sparkling diamond ring. Speaking of the upcoming nuptials, The Only Murders in the Building star admitted she's planning to ditch the classic bride and groom dance at their reception because she's too shy. 'I don't think we're looking at having one of those 'cause they're a little — I feel embarrassed,' she said on an episode of Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware. But while there won't be a traditional first dance, Selena revealed she's making room for a deeply meaningful moment — a special dance with her grandfather. 'He never got a chance to walk my mom down the aisle,' she shared. 'I wanted to give [my grandfather] the opportunity to have that.'
