The 37-year-old called time on his playing career last month and made his final competitive appearance for United on the last day of the Premier League season.

Although Evans will no longer have an influence on the pitch, he is now expected to be given a new role behind the scenes.
The Athletic reports that Man Utd want to retain the ex-defender following the expiry of his contract.
Evans' new staff role will see him put in charge of loan deals for emerging talents.
The United hierarchy were impressed with his influence off the pitch during his time as a player.

He regularly offered advice to young players and taught them about United's heritage.
Evans also spoke passionately about staff members losing their jobs in the first round of redundancies last summer during the club's pre-season tour of the United States.
The former Northern Ireland international made 241 appearances for Man Utd across two spells.
He first spent 11 years at the club between 2004 and 2015 before joining West Brom.

The Gunners have been in talks for Gyokeres and RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko. Chances of the north London side opting for Gyokeres' signature appear to be increasing however. Arsenal are growing frustrated over the contract that Sesko's camp are demanding during talks, while Gyokeres' preferred destination is said to be Arsenal. A club statement read: 'Crystal Palace Football Club can confirm that Robert Wood Johnson, 'Woody', an American businessman and co-owner of the New York Jets, has signed a legally binding contract to purchase Eagle Football's holding in the club. 'Whilst the completion is pending approval from the Premier League and Women's Super League, we do not envisage any issues and look forward to welcoming Woody as a partner and director of the club. 'We would like to go on record to thank John Textor for his contribution over the past four years and wish him every success for the future.' Reports have placed the price between £160m and £190m. The sale may now free Palace up to play in the Europa League, for which the Eagles qualified thanks to their FA Cup final victory over Manchester City last month. Textor, who through his Eagle Football Holdings group also owns a significant stake in Brazilian side Botafogo, initially invested in Palace in 2021. The PA news agency understands a decision regarding Palace's participation is expected from UEFA before the end of June.
