Anshula Kapoor accuses ‘chachi' Maheep Kapoor of being a ‘traitor' as familial bond weakens on Karan Johar's show: ‘If I was a traitor, I wouldn't be dumb about it'
Karan Johar's new reality show The Traitors is streaming on Amazon Prime Video, and the contestants have already eliminated a couple of suspected traitors – including Raj Kundra. The way the game works is that the 'Innocents' have to identify the 'Traitors' and vote them out of the house. After three episodes, there are already some cracks in the alliances and one of the strongest teams on the show, that of Maheep Kapoor and her niece Anshula, is starting to fall apart.
Spoilers ahead
By the third episode, Raj Kundra, Sahil Salathia, and Lakshmi Manchu are already eliminated from the game. Two have been 'murdered' by the 'traitors' and one was eliminated by 'innocents'. Anshula, who showed blind faith in her chachi (aunt) Maheep in the first episode, is visibly questioning her choices. In the third episode, Anshula was vocal about her mistrust towards Maheep and said, 'I have a feeling it's you (traitor).' She added, 'You already know that a lot of people think you are the traitor. The only reason why I think it's you is because you told me earlier that until you are in the competition, you won't let anyone kick me out. I mean, how could you say that with so much confidence?'

Maheep was taken aback by this accusation and tried to explain her statement. She said, 'Last night I packed my bags, and I knew that people were going to evict me today. The traitors know that if I were one of them, I would never let go of you because I am your chachi. If I were a traitor, I wouldn't be dumb about it and tell you that you're safe. What do I care?' Even though the internal dispute seems to be resolved, it reignites itself during the 'circle of shaq' where all contestants vote out a 'traitor' based on their suspicion.
Here too, Anshula brought up her mistrust towards Maheep and recalled the same conversation. Maheep, again, clarified her stance but Anshula appeared unconvinced. Anshula told everyone about Maheep's commitment of keeping her in the game and expresseed her doubts that Maheep might be a traitor. However, during the voting, she supported Maheep and voted against Karan Kundrra, who was then eliminated. The show has already revealed the 'traitors' and Maheep isn't one of them so far.
Hosted by Karan Johar, The Traitors was released on Prime Video on June 12, and the makers will be dropping new episodes every Thursday.

Kuberaa trailer: Dhanush plays a beggar who challenges status quo; Nagarjuna believes in the power of money
Kuberaa trailer:The trailer for Sekhar Kammula's Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh-starrer Kuberaa was released at a pre-release event held in Hyderabad on Sunday. SS Rajamouli was the chief guest. Expectations are high on the film as it's Dhanush's debut in Telugu and Sekhar's second film in Tamil after Anaamika. (Also Read: Kuberaa producer claims Prime Video threatened to cut ₹10 crore from deal if film isn't released on time) The trailer begins with Dhanush, who plays a beggar, wondering about the value of crores. Nagarjuna states that in this country, money and power work, not ethics or justice, as history has shown. While supportive of Dhanush, he also seems to have a grey side. Rashmika's character seems to be someone whom Dhanush's character has faith in, despite her insisting otherwise. She also believes the rich and powerful will always rule the world. A character even wonders how a beggar threw a whole government into risk. It ends with Dhanush challenging the status quo. The pre-release event of Kuberaa was initially scheduled to be held on 13 June but was postponed after the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad. The film's team made the announcement and wrote, 'The pre-release event of Kuberaa, scheduled for tomorrow, has been postponed in light of the tragic Ahmedabad flight crash. We stand in solidarity with the grieving families.' They also added, 'Our hearts go out to all affected by the devastating plane crash in Ahmedabad. We extend our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims. May you find strength in this difficult time.' Kuberaa is slated for release on 20 June and is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Rammohan Rao of Amigos Creations. The film has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Dhanush, who essayed the role of a beggar in the film, recalled shooting at a dumpyard for hours. At the launch of the song Pippi Pippi Dum Dum Dum, he said, 'To see another part of the world, a sight which you're not exposed to... You're always in your comfort zone, like you do only what's convenient, you're protected. I come from very humble roots.' He also said that shooting for Kuberaa took him back to his childhood, 'Today, I'm here by God's grace. I've seen that, and to go back there to see that world again, it was very enlightening and nostalgic. I'm very thankful to this film for so many reasons, but it takes me back to my childhood as well as one of them.'
