Ricoh named as a Leader in IDC MarketScape Worldwide Hardcopy Remanufacturing 2025 Vendor Assessment

The assessment highlights, 'Ricoh has a long history of investing in remanufacturing capabilities.'
TOKYO, May 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Ricoh today announced it has been named as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape Worldwide Hardcopy Remanufacturing 2025 Vendor Assessment (doc #EUR153222025, March 2025).
The IDC MarketScape research evaluated hardcopy vendors that provide remanufactured devices and/or consumables to the worldwide marketplace. These products are manufactured according to the same set of standards as new equipment, with the remanufacturing process primarily carried out across the Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and North America regions.
The IDC MarketScape report notes that 'Ricoh has a long history in remanufacturing capabilities.' Ricoh believes this highlights its long-standing investment and deep-rooted commitment to environmental sustainability.
The report noted Ricoh was recognised for the following strengths: historical activities, future road map, robust office portfolio, production device offerings, global reach and direct customer contracts.
The assessment went on to note that 'Ricoh should be considered when a full range of toner devices are required, coupled together with industry software and solutions which perform the same regardless of whether the devices are remanufactured or new builds (as Ricoh can offer both sets for offices and other areas such as production).'
Katsunori Nakata, Executive Corporate Officer and President of RICOH Digital Products Unit, Ricoh Company, Ltd. said, 'We believe this latest recognition from the IDC MarketScape not only validates our position as a leader in worldwide hardcopy remanufacturing, but also our long-standing commitment to sustainability, especially in reducing the environmental impact of our products throughout their entire lifecycle…
… By bringing technology and people together, we help organisations modernise their print infrastructure and accelerate digital transformation. At the same time, we remain committed to building a better, more sustainable future – exemplified by devices and consumables that are designed from the outset with refurbishment and remanufacturing in mind.'
Additionally, the IDC MarketScape report noted the increasing demand from technology buyers for the reuse of devices and consumables, as sustainability continues to be a top business priority. This is now part of the overall strategy and decision-making process, with the focus of sustainability shifting from supporting general environmental issues to fulfilling the specific requirements of the circular economy.
The report also highlighted Ricoh's long history in sustainability practices, noting, 'The vendor first started to remanufacture its A3 monochrome MFP devices in 1997 before commencing toner remanufacturing in 2000. The remanufacturing developed from Ricoh's Comet Circle, a program first designed in 1994 to address the circular economy, and the zero-carbon society have been at the heart of Ricoh's operations ever since.'

Viatris Deadline: VTRS Investors with Losses in Excess of $100K Have Opportunity to Lead Viatris Inc. Securities Fraud Lawsuit

NEW YORK, June 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Why: Rosen Law Firm, a global investor rights law firm, reminds purchasers of securities of Viatris Inc. (NASDAQ: VTRS) between August 8, 2024 and February 26, 2025, both dates inclusive (the 'Class Period'), of the important June 3, 2025 lead plaintiff deadline. So what: If you purchased Viatris securities during the Class Period you may be entitled to compensation without payment of any out of pocket fees or costs through a contingency fee arrangement. What to do next: To join the Viatris class action, go to call Phillip Kim, Esq. at 866-767-3653 or email case@ for more information. A class action lawsuit has already been filed. If you wish to serve as lead plaintiff, you must move the Court no later than June 3, 2025. A lead plaintiff is a representative party acting on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation. Why Rosen Law: We encourage investors to select qualified counsel with a track record of success in leadership roles. Often, firms issuing notices do not have comparable experience, resources, or any meaningful peer recognition. Many of these firms do not actually litigate securities class actions, but are merely middlemen that refer clients or partner with law firms that actually litigate the cases. Be wise in selecting counsel. The Rosen Law Firm represents investors throughout the globe, concentrating its practice in securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation. Rosen Law Firm achieved the largest ever securities class action settlement against a Chinese Company at the time. Rosen Law Firm was Ranked No. 1 by ISS Securities Class Action Services for number of securities class action settlements in 2017. The firm has been ranked in the top 4 each year since 2013 and has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for investors. In 2019 alone the firm secured over $438 million for investors. In 2020, founding partner Laurence Rosen was named by law360 as a Titan of Plaintiffs' Bar. Many of the firm's attorneys have been recognized by Lawdragon and Super Lawyers. Details of the case: According to the lawsuit, during the Class Period, defendants provided investors with material information concerning the failed inspection of Viatris' Indore, India facility. Defendants' statements, albeit made months after the initial inspection and defendants' initiation of remediation efforts included, among other things, the disclosure of the FDA's issuance of a warning letter and import alert which would prevent Viatris from shipping eleven products from the Indore facility, though four of such were exempt from the limitations (the 'Warning Letter'). Defendants routinely referred to the impact of the Warning Letter as a mere 'minor headwind' for Viatris. Further, defendants provided these disclosures to investors while, at the same time, disseminating materially false and misleading statements and/or concealing material adverse facts concerning the true state impact of the Warning Letter on Viatris' financials. Notably, defendants did not disclose precisely when the inspection occurred, how long the remediation efforts had been implemented, or the financial impact of the existing and continued remediation efforts. Defendants further notably failed to disclose which products were subject to the FDA Warning Letter, which products were subject to exemptions, and the significance of the restricted products with respect to Viatris' existing financials and future projections, and for which Viatris believed it would obtain exemptions. Such statements, absent these material facts, caused Plaintiff and other shareholders to purchase Viatris' securities at artificially inflated prices. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages. To join the Viatris class action, go to or call Phillip Kim, Esq. at 866-767-3653 or email case@ for more information. No Class Has Been Certified. Until a class is certified, you are not represented by counsel unless you retain one. You may select counsel of your choice. You may also remain an absent class member and do nothing at this point. An investor's ability to share in any potential future recovery is not dependent upon serving as lead plaintiff. Follow us for updates on LinkedIn: on Twitter: or on Facebook: Attorney Advertising.
