Red Cross: Conditions in Gaza "have reached a point of complete collapse"

Saba Yemen21-05-2025

Gaza - Saba:
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) warned that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip has "reached a point of complete collapse," due to the complete closure of crossings for 10 weeks and the prolonged denial of humanitarian aid, amid a widespread Israeli military escalation and mass evacuation orders.
ICRC spokesperson in Gaza, Hisham Muhanna, confirmed to Palestine Online that the massive Israeli escalation of military operations and the repeated evacuation orders are exacerbating the suffering of civilians, who are now living in a cycle of fear, anxiety, and confusion, with no safe destination.

Three Palestinians martyred, others injured in Israeli enemy shelling of Khan Yunis

Gaza - Saba: Three Palestinian citizens were martyred and others injured on Friday morning in Israeli enemy warplanes' shelling of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Wafa News Agency, citing Palestinian medical sources, reported that two citizens were martyred and others injured when an Israeli drone bombed a mobile phone charging point among the tents of displaced people west of Khan Yunis. The same sources added that rescue crews recovered a martyr as a result of the shelling of the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis. The eastern neighborhood of al-Tuffah and the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip are witnessing ongoing Israeli airstrikes. Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have launched an aggression on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 54,677 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 125,530 others, in a preliminary toll, as a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them. Jihad says aggression on southern suburb of Beirut blatant assault with blatant American cover

Gaza – Saba: The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine has condemned the Israeli aggression on the southern suburb of Beirut on the eve of Eid al-Adha. In a press statement, Jihad said "The treacherous Zionist aggression that targeted residential areas in the southern suburbs of Beirut and areas in southern Lebanon, resulting in widespread destruction, terrorizing innocent civilians, and forcing thousands of families to flee their homes on the eve of Eid al-Adha, constitutes a violation of the ceasefire, which the enemy has never observed, with blatant American cover and complicity." It considered this attack "a blatant provocation and confirmation of premeditated aggressive intentions aimed at dragging Lebanon into a dangerous escalation through which the enemy seeks to expand and consolidate its occupation." The movement said, "While we pray to God to protect Lebanon and its people from all harm, we affirm the depth of the fraternal relations that unite the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples in the face of these attacks."
